Chapter Fifteen - You're Mine... Always and Forever

"Say it again for me 'cause I love the way it feels when you are telling me that I'm the only one who blows your mind..." earphones were plugged into her ears, and Hermione was singing her favorite song on her iPod. She was busy cleaning their house when she didn't notice someone entered the room she was currently cleaning.

"...it's like the whole world stops to listen when you tell me you're in lo—Hey!" she was singing along when someone removed the earphones in her ears so she shouted in disappointment. She looked at the person who removed her earphones but she was dumbfounded. It was none other than Ron.

"Hi!" Ron greeted her.

"What are you doing here?" She glared at Ron and dropped the vacuum cleaner she was holding a while ago. Ron smiled at her.

"And why are you smiling?"

"Because you're funny." He said.

"What? I didn't even crack a joke." She shook her head.

"Three days ago..." Ron started.

"Ugh please! Stop." Hermione shouted in frustration. She just drifted her attention to the vacuum cleaner and picked it up. "Can you please get out? You see, I'm busy." She continued.

"Three days ago... It was just a misunderstanding." Ron said. Hermione looked at him and put her hands on her waist.

"Do you think I'll believe you?" she said.

"Can you please let me explain first?" he asked Hermione. With that, she sat on the bed and looked at Ron. Ron, on the other hand, sat beside her. She moved away from her and Ron laughed.

"You see, when you visited me, I was with someone else. That time, I was busy studying something. Not the one that's on your mind. I was trying to learn how to cook, and the girl you saw was my friend. You haven't met her because we became friends when we were far away from each other." Ron laughed.

"Like I care..." Hermione replied.

"I know you're like that because you thought she was my girlfriend. And you are jealous." Ron said straight to the point.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Hermione shouted out of irritation.

"I said you are jealous." Ron repeated.

"Oh? News flash! I am not. Why would I be jealous? I'm not even your girlfriend!" she defended herself.

"Are you sure? They why are you so defensive?" he teased.

"Because, because... Ugh! Get out!" Hermione commanded.

"No, I will never get out of this room. Not until you tell me why you visited me three days ago. That's what I wanted to know." Ron's face became serious. Hermione just looked at him and she stood up.

"There's none. I just wanted to give you those cookies I baked." She said.

"Is that so?"

"Yes."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"You sure?"

"Yes... No." Hermione looked at Ron with tears in her eyes. When Ron saw that, he immediately moved near to Hermione and he hugged her.

"I was there to say sorry to you. For all the things I've said. I'm so sorry for telling you that I don't need you in my life. I was wrong, Ron. I was really wrong. I was there to tell you that I'm ready to accept you again. I'm ready to live every day of my life with you by my side. I was there to tell you that... I'm still in love with you." Hermione out her arms around Ron's neck and buried her face on his broad shoulder. She was crying her eyes out.

"Ssshh, Hermione. Sssh... stop crying. You know what I feel for you Hermione. I love you. I didn't get mad at you. Believe me; I just let you realize what you were feeling for me, for the past weeks that I didn't show up. Those times were the hardest times of my life, second to when I left you four years ago. I wanted to see you badly so for me to fight the urge to see you, I made myself busy by studying how to cook. And the reason why I want to cook is you. Instead of you getting out of bed early to serve us food, I want it to be me. But before that to happen..." Ron pulled away from Hermione's hug. He reached for his pocket. He let out a tiny red box and showed it to Hermione. Hermione already knew what will happen. She went to where Ron was and she kissed him passionately. Ron responded to her kisses and he carried Hermione on the bed. They were both longing for each other's kisses. Hermione unbuttoned Ron's polo while they were still kissing. Ron pulled away from the kiss and laughed. Hermione grunted.

"Hermione, what if I leave you again?" Ron asked.

"I know you'll never do that again, because you promised me you'll never leave me again, right? And if you do, I'll hunt you down, wherever you are, and if I find you, I'll skin you alive. Just kidding!" Hermione laughed, as well as Ron.

"You're really silly. Of course I'll never do that stupid thing again." Ron replied while attempting to kiss Hermione again. Hermione closed her eyes but Ron stopped again. Hermione opened her eyes and sighed.

"Before anything else happens, will you marry me, baby?" Ron asked.

"Of course yes!" Ron owned Hermione's lips again, this time, harder. He was about to remove his unbuttoned polo when Hermione pulled away this time.

"Ugh, what now?!" Ron grunted.

"Before anything else happens, don't forget that we have our child now. What if she sees us like this?" Hermione laughed. Ron got up from his position and went to the door. He opened it and went outside. Hermione thought he was mad, but was relieved when he came back. He locked the door, for the record. Ron laid on top of Hermione, pushing away her hair off of her face.

"Don't worry, she's busy watching Barney. We got one hour to make another Rose. Ready, set—" Hermione pulled Ron towards her and she kissed him. They were laughing in between those kisses. What Hermione felt four years ago when Ron confessed his feelings to her was nothing to what she was feeling now. She felt as if she's the luckiest woman in the world. Little did she know that Ron was also happy with what they have now. After so many hardships and pretention, there they were, contented and loved by each other. He'll be the best husband and father, he promised himself.
