     Long ago, there was a world of magic. Creatures you could only imagine, roamed the earth. They all lived among one another in peace. Among the magical creatures, there were protectors. They were put on earth to keep order, the peace, and protect the good from the evil. They were dragons.Magnificent creatures they were. Their wings were said to be the most beautiful sight any eyes could gaze upon. The dragons were large and frightening, but they were gentle and kind. Despite the conspiracy stating their greed, they had none. Dragons were the most selfless and humble creatures known to man. Only years of lies and misunderstanding twisted their image into something terrifying.

     There were different breeds of dragons. The fire dragons were said to have been the strongest and most powerful. Their eyes were said to have trapped the flames of lava in them. Their hair was either as black as the night, deep as chocolate, or red as fire. Their bloodline was large and very common among the dragons. They were the protectors of the mountains and volcanos. Then there were the Ice dragons. Ice dragons were rare. Their bloodline was said to have been the most beautiful. They had eyes the color of the sky and they froze you like ice with just a glance and their hair was as white as snow. The ice dragons were protectors of the north. Legend has it there were more bloodlines, but they were never seen and soon forgotten. 

     The dragons were loved by all, until the humans became afraid.
