I quickly ducked into an alleyway and hid behind some trash. Who knew I would be hideing from someone so much shorter than me but here we are. The leader and the other members of DICE paused at the alleyway and looked around briefly before turning around and looking at them all "alright let's play some hide and seek with mister ultimate detective, five of you go to the left the others go to the right, if you find him return to the base so we can cut him up and distribute the prize got it" They all nodded in unison

"you know the rules, you must bring him back alive, no weapons and you must always be in groups in case you get attacked or the future foundation tries to capture you.....ready? GAME ON!" As soon as he yelled "game on" They dispersed in groups of two or three which left the leader alone. I could probably capture him right now but....this seemingly innocent boy had a kill count in the millions even looking I'm his direction could get an entire apartment building blown to ashes and I was honestly scared to even breathe while I was so close to him.

Suddenly he turned around and stared directly into the alleyway then he unhooked something from his belt and tossed it into the alleyway. I stared at it confused before it started releasing a toxic gas which forced me to leave the safety of darkness I was enjoying so much. I stayed still in the alleyway for a couple of seconds with my hands acting like a face mask but that obviously didn't work and I began to feel a little sick which....isn't good considering the situation I've found myself in today so I decided to make a run for it. Maybe if I was fast enough I could out run him is what I told myself but he was extremely agile and caught up with me quickly, grabbing my arm, harshly twisting it and pinning me to the ground by stepping on my back "I know a lot about you" He began, relentlessly pulling on my arm as he smiled cheerfully "my good friend kaede said you like playing hide and seek right? Well....it looks like ive found you and you know what that means right?" He said as he turned me around and sat on my waist. I stayed silent with pure fear and hatered in my eyes. "That's right!" He said even though I didn't answer him

"Game over" He said cheerfully as he reached into his scarf and pulled out a switchblade. He placed the blade to my throat but he didn't kill me quite yet, instead he stared at my frightened face with his smile beginning to fade....i wonder what's going on inside his head

I stared at the yellow eyed detective and....for once I felt something other than despair.... "this isn't right" I heard a voice in my head say. This happened all the time but....this time I actually listened to the voices instead of ignoring them "this goes against all my morals" Morals? What morals? "I just want it to stop MAKE IT STOP!" stop? Now? After all this progress "I hate this" "I never wanted this" "this wasn't supposed to happen" "How could I let this happen" "Im so weak" "I couldn't even fight against a dumb video"...All of the voices mixed around in my head, giveing me a headache. I dropped the knife "Get up" I commanded "let's play a new game, tag and I'm it....I'll give you a ten second head start...." I said with a smile "ten...." As soon as the first number was said shuichi sprinted away as fast as he could....i didn't bother saying the rest of the numbers as I didn't have any interest in killing him anymore instead I walked the other direction.
