-AUTHOR's POV-

As we left off, we were in Clementine and (YN)'s dream, having same dream, as the two dreamt about themselves being as kids back then, riding on the train, a familiar train they road before...and there, we see somebody appeared and to sit with them...this person was the one who took care of Clem and (YN) back when all of this started, protected them, cared for them, and loved them. It was none other, than the living legend himself, Lee.

Lee: Hey little ones.

(YN)/Clem: Lee?

They were happy to see him and so does Lee...

Lee: Why the train? You two always pick the train.

Clementine: We're not sure, maybe it's because this is we're it all started. Where you taught us how to defend, also cutting my hair.

(YN): Yea, and where you taught us how to shoot.

Lee: Heh, you two were a quick study. So, what's on your minds this time?

Clementine: ..We're worried Lee. We got lot of people depending on us.

(YN): And we don't know if what we're doing is right. I mean, at first I wasn't, would be easy with help from our friends...but now, I feel worried, like if...something bad is gonna happen, and have to be aware of it what's is coming.

Lee: Oh, I know that feeling. You know, I was making it up all up as I went along, right? Couldn't let in, of course. With you two being so little.

Clementine: Huh, never notice. It felt like you always knew the right thing to do.

(YN): And also being more smarter than us too.

Lee: Heh, I know, but I got lucky. Luck counts for a lot.

(YN): Well...we're gonna need some now.

Lee: Wanna tell me what you two are up against?

Clementine: We're in a different group now. And we've been in...so many, and they always fall apart.

(YN): But this one, we like it, it's different, like it feels we're...home.

Lee: That's a good thing, it's hard being alone out there.

(YN): But we're in trouble. Some bad guys captured our friends, and getting them back might get us all killed.

Lee: ....I'm not worried.

Clem/(YN): What??

Lee: Whatever trouble y'all are in, you both will get out of it. You'll get your friends out of it.

Clementine: But, you don't know that.

Lee: I know you two are survivors. The Clementine I know is smart and quick, and and the (YN) I know is brave and strong. You two will fix it, I believe in that.

Clementine: Heh, You're right.

(YN): We just wanted to hear you say it. Yea, we will get our friends back, get them out of there, every one of them. Alive.

Clementine: Definitely and make sure we all get home safe.

Lee: That's right. Imagine what the boys is gonna say when they see you two. They will have hope again knowing y'all came to rescue them.

(YN)/Clem: ...

Lee: Aw, little ones. You know you two always get like this before something big. Remember how scare y'all were when the two of you charged into that mess at the McCarroll Ranch? You both survived, didn't y'all?

Clementine: That was different. We were alone.

(YN): And this one, we have people to help us...and are worried we might get them killed...

Lee: I know. It's harder what you have something to lose. But having people y'all care about, that's a good thing. Friends, a little boy, who loves you both. They're fighting aside with the two of you, cause of you both.

Clementine and (YN) were getting some hope from Lee about saving their friends...and they needed that kind of hope from Lee. He stood up...

Lee: Come see me again when y'all gotten them out, okay? Out, and safe. Sound good? And hopefully we can talk about happier things.

Clementine: ...Lee, we miss you so much.

(YN): Yeah, we wish you were really here with us, just like back then.

Lee: *sighs* ...I miss you both as well kids, but we'll have to make do with pretending.

They were both sadden to know that this, is the only way they can talk with Lee, and wish he was alive still...but they don't have to be sadden about that, not yet. As they were inspired by him to save their people.

Clementine: Thank you Lee, us talking with you, always makes us feel better.

(YN): Yea.

Lee: Of course. And Uh, I meant to ask.. how's the boy?

Clementine: He's good Lee, you'd like him.

Lee: I bet, y'all taught him to shoot yet?

(YN): Heh, you have no idea.

Lee: I guess the world has gotten pretty hard since I left it. A kid growing up in it, he'd be hard too. Bitch you two are in my shoes now, raising a kid, think y'all can handle it? I know it can't be easy, wanting to give him a childhood, but knowing what it takes to survive now. It was easier for me, since the world was just changing. But y'all living on one that's...change completely.

Clementine: AJ can be challenging sometimes, but he is amazing Lee.

(YN): Yea, we taught him how to be strong, brave, and capable. You'd be so proud.

Lee: You mean, more than I already am.

With Lee being so proud of how Clem and (YN) have been doing good so far and learning lots of experience thanks to Lee. (YN) and Clem stood up, and the y both rush at Lee and give him one big hug, and Lee too as the three were having a moment together...

But, the train horn was alarm, as Lee notices his time was coming, and has to leave now...but before he does, he again looks at both Clem and (YN), and now can see them all grown up, and matured.

Lee: Wow, just look at you two. Heh, just look at you two. Now Clem, didn't I told you to keep that hair short?

Clementine: Um, you have no idea how hard it is to find scissors at this time of place.

Lee: Heh, I know. Now, this group y'all like, they better not live in a city. You know, I told y'all to avoid those.

(YN): Nah, they don't. No one goes to the cities anymore. It's an old boarding school in the woods.

Clementine: Yeah, miles away from anywhere. With no adults at all.

Lee: No adults?

(YN): It works, we promise.

Lee: I know...Well, time to go Clem and (Yn). You've got people that need you both.

With a final moment, Lee walks into a shadow...and to vanish away as Clem and (Yn) were sadden to see him leave, but it has to be like this...

Clementine: Goodbye Lee.

(YN): Hope we see each other soon...again, I hope.

As the dream ended, AJ was waking Clem and (YN) up as it was midnight still.

AJ: Clem, (YN). Wake up. It's time to go.

The two woke up from their sleep...

AJ: We have a long walk.

The two looked at each other...

(YN): Ready?

Clementine: Yea, definitely. You?

(YN): Same. What about you bud?

AJ: I'm most ready.

Clementine: Heh, that's good.

(YN): Right...let's go.
