Batman: The Dark Knight – Batman Interrogates the Joker

"Somehow you always seem to make the simplest sounding things scary." Nora said.

"Thanks, took me a while to get the hang of it." Dan replied.

"Well what do we expect from this interrogation?" Raven asked.

"Torture? Please tell me it's torture!?" Tyrian exclaimed.

"No it's not torture," Dan replied and Tyrian deflated with a frown "But it is going to show two opposing sides of the same coin."

"Really now?" Ozpin asked, interested at the prospect of seeing such a thing.

"Well now you've got my attention." Salem said with a smirk.

Dan chuckled as he floated to the back "Believe me, you don't wanna miss this."

The dimension began by showing Ironwood sitting in a dark room that was only lit up by a desk lamp and separate to him was man yet to be revealed.

"Taiyang Xiao Long never made it home." Ironwood stated.

"Of course not." The man replied.

"What have you done with him?" Ironwood asked.

The man was now revealed to be Ozpin with dyed green hair, messy clown make-up, his usual outfit now consisting of purple colors and scars on both sides of his mouth.

"Ozpin!?" Glynda exclaimed in shock.

"What the hell?" Qrow asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Professor Ozpin is a clown!?" Ruby exclaimed with wide eyes.

"Well this is quite strange..." Ozpin said.

"This I never expected to see." Salem said with an amused smirk.

"Wait? What did he do with Taiyang?" Summer asked worriedly.

"We'll just have to find out." Ironwood replied.

"Me? I was right here." Ozpin asked, feigning innocence as he showed Ironwood his handcuffs "Who did you leave him with? Hmm? Your people? Assuming of course that they are still your people and Torchwicks."

"He's playing mind games." Ironwood said with narrowed eyes.

"He wants a reaction." Ozpin said with a frown "He's enjoying himself."

"A mind like yours siding with villainy is a bad combination." Glynda said worriedly.

"I don't know; he seems very charming." Salem said with a sultry smirk.

"Finally! Bribing the police got them on my side!" Roman exclaimed with a grin.

'Three years of rejections finally paid off!' Neo wrote and he hugged her with a nod.

Ironwood stared at him as Ozpin continued "Does it depress you commissioner? To know just how alone you really are?"

'Sometimes...' Blake said to herself.

"Does it make you feel responsible for Taiyang Xiao Longs current predicament?" Ozpin asked.

"Where is he?" Ironwood asked.

"What's the time?" Ozpin asked.

"What difference does that make?" Ironwood asked.

"Oh, depending on the time. He may be in one spot or several." Ozpin replied, emphasizing it with his eyes.

Most widened their eyes at the implication while Tyrian let out a laugh.

"I like this guy!" Tyrian exclaimed.

"Oz, your alternate self sure is different." Qrow said.

"Oum I hope he's okay." Summer muttered.

"Dad..." Yang muttered.

"Ozpin I never knew you could be so vile." Salem said with a smirk as Ozpin narrowed his eyes at her.

"I'm not." Ozpin replied.

"Well a part of you is." Salem countered.

"If we're gonna play games," Ironwood said as he reached into his pocket and took out Ozpin's handcuff keys, standing up and uncuffing him then leaving the room with the cuffs "I'm gonna need a cup of coffee."

"What's your angle in all of this?" Glynda asked as Ironwood shrugged.

"Good cop, bad cop?" Jaune guessed.

"Ooh! Write that down! Write that down!" Sun said as Neptune wrote notes down.

"The junior detectives are leveling up!" Neptune said with a grin.

"Ah, the good cop, bad cop routine?" Ozpin asked in amusement.

Ironwood turned to look at him "Not exactly."

"Ok, then what?" Yang asked.

Ironwood left the room as Ozpin sat there waiting but then the lights were suddenly turned on and someone was standing behind him. They slammed his head down on the table and moved to stand in front of him, revealing that it was Batman Aka Qrow Branwen.

"What the hell!?" Roman exclaimed in shock.

"Where did he come from!?" Mercury exclaimed.

"Was he just standing there the entire time?" Cinder asked in shock.

"What is he a ninja?" Emerald asked.

"Hey wait I recognize that guy, yeah! He's from the dimension Superman fought Hazel." Ruby said.

"Oh yeah, the guy who threw bombs at him." Yang said as she remembered.

"Didn't do much though." Neptune said.

"You didn't do much." Ruby said as Neptune cried anime tears.

Blake blushed as she stared at him 'He's cool...'

"So who is he?" Qrow asked.

"The dark Knight, the protector of Patch, he has a lot of names." Dan replied "But the one he's most well known as is Batman."

"Batman huh? I like it." Qrow replied.

"Yeah he's cool." Jaune said.

"Very cool." Ren said.

"And he's a superhero that protects Patch? I think he may just be my second favorite superhero." Ruby said with a smile.

"So does he have like bat powers or something?" Weiss asked.

"He's a normal human." Dan stated.

"Well that's lame." Coco said.

"Don't count him out just yet, he can take any of you down quite easily and most of the people you've seen." Dan said which surprised them "Even superman."

"WHAT!?" The theater exclaimed.

"A normal human can take down something akin to a god?" Salem asked.

"On some occasions yes, depends on how prepared he is and he's always prepared." Dan replied.

"Wow, that's some scary shit right there." Junior said.

"You said it." Roman said.

"So who's under the mask?" Ozpin asked.

Dan chuckled "I'd rather not reveal that."

Some complained and whines as Dan just rolled his eyes.

"Never start with the head, the victim gets all fuzzy." Ozpin advised "He can't feel-"

Ozpin was cut off by Qrow slamming his fist down on his hand but Ozpin looked unaffected as he blinked a couple of times "See?"

"Damn, this guy doesn't play around." Qrow said.

"But it looks like Ozpin is all playing around." Raven said.

"Now I get the analogy." Taiyang said.

"You wanted me, here I am." Qrow replied in a dark voice as the police force watched on and Ironwood joined them.

"Hm~ That voice, I'm starting to really like this guy~" Raven said with a smirk.

Dan smirked 'You really shouldn't...'

"I wanted to see what you'd do...and you didn't disappoint." Ozpin replied "You let five people die, then you let Xiao Long take your place even to a guy like me that's cold."

"You really love your mind games, don't you?" Qrow asked.

"They stimulate the mind, even if I never would use them in this fashion." Ozpin replied.

"Where's Xiao Long?" Qrow asked.

"Those mob fools want you gone so they get back to the way things were, but I know the truth. There's no going back, you've changed things, forever." Ozpin said.

"How has he changed things?" Ruby asked.

"Criminals fear him and are too afraid to commit crimes." Dan said.

"Isn't that a good thing?" Whitley asked.

"Depends." Dan said with a shrug "This Patch is just one crazy island where anything can happen."

"Then why do you want to kill me?" Qrow asked.

Ozpin breathed out a laugh "I don't, I don't wanna kill you. What would I do without you? Go back to ripping off mob dealers? No, no, no, no you, you complete me."

"That's not unnerving." Weiss said.

"I think he means that he found his counterpart in Batman." Blake said.

"So all of this is one big game to them?" Willow asked.

"One of them at least." Amber said.

"You're garbage who kills for money." Qrow stated.

"Oof to every bounty hunter out there." Roman said as Mercury and Emerald chuckled.

"Don't talk like one of them, you're not! Even if you'd like to be." Ozpin said as he gestured to the cops on the other side of the mirror "To them you're just a freak, like me. They need you right now, but when they don't...they'll cast you out, like a leper. See they're morals, they're code, it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble, they're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show ya, when the chips are down, these uh...these civilized people...they'll eat each other."

Tyrian shed a tear with a happy smile "Finally someone who gets me."

"You are insane." Ironwood said to Ozpin.

"My viewpoint isn't technically wrong but it is severely warped." Ozpin said.

"I mean people do want to destroy what they fear or don't understand." Sienna said.

"I would disagree but history paints a clear picture that supports your claim." Jinn said.

"See, I'm not a monster." Ozpin stated "I'm just ahead of the curve."

Qrow had enough as he grabbed Ozpin by the collar and pulled him over the table and asked Ozpin where Xiao Long was but he was undeterred and continued speaking normally "They have all these rules and you think they'll save you."

"Sometimes rules are meant to be broken." Tyrian said.

"But without rules there's no order." Ironwood said.

"Order breeds chaos." Tyrian replied.

"Chaos can be contained." Ironwood countered.

"Chaos runs through everyone's veins." Tyrian countered.

"We can weed it out." Ironwood replied.

"Then you'll have nobody left for order." Tyrian stated.

Ironwood didn't answer as he glared at him.

"Damn." Yang commented.

Qrow slammed him against the wall as the officers looked at Ironwood "It's in control."

"I don't think you're seeing what we're seeing chief." Qrow stated.

"I have one rule." Qrow growled.

"Oh, then that's the rule you'll have to break to know the truth." Ozpin said.

"Which is?" Qrow asked.

"The only sensible way to live in this world is without rules and tonight you're gonna break your one rule." Ozpin stated.

"How can he be so sure?" Glynda asked.

"He has some kind of plan to make him break it I assume." Ozpin said.

"What's the rule?" Ruby asked confused.

"I'm considering it." Qrow replied.

"Oh there's only minutes left, you're gonna have to play my little game if you want to save one of them." Ozpin said.

Qrow widened his eyes "Them?"

"Them!?" Most of the theater asked.

"You know for a while there, I thought you really were Xiao Long. The way you threw yourself after her." Ozpin laughed.

"After who?" Taiyang asked.

"Either Summer or Raven, told you your little threesome was a bad idea." Qrow stated as all three blushed.

"Augh Qrow! Don't get that stuff in my head!" Yang exclaimed as Ruby gagged.

Qrow glared at him and slammed him onto the desk, grabbing the chair and walking towards the door while Ironwood ran to it.

"Control huh?" Qrow asked with a smirk.

"Shut up." Ironwood replied.

"Look at you go!" Ozpin shouted as he continued to laugh while Qrow blocked it.

Ironwood got to the door but it was too late as Qrow had blocked it and went after Ozpin who spoke "Does Taiyang know about you and his little-"

Ozpin was cut off by Qrow slamming him into the viewing glass then throwing him to the ground as he shouted "Where are they!?"

"Game's over." Roman said.

"He really does know how to push people's buttons." Cinder said.

"I quite enjoy this version of you Ozpin." Salem said.

"Killing is mainly a choice." Ozpin stated as Qrow punched him.

"WHERE ARE THEY!?" Qrow shouted once again.

"Choose between life or the other. Your friend the district attorney or his blushing bride to be." Ozpin laughed as Qrow punched him again but that didn't stop him from laughing.

"He truly is insane." Glynda said with wide eyes.

"How are you supposed to beat up someone who just laughs it off?!?" Yang exclaimed "Totally unfair."

"So Taiyang's fiancé has been having an affair with Batman huh?" Qrow asked.

"I'm tired of these females lying." Roman said in disappointment.

"You have nothing! Nothing to threaten me with, nothing to do with all your strength." Ozpin stated as Qrow picked him up by the collar "Don't worry! I'm gonna tell you where they are, both of 'em. And that's the point, you'll have to choose."

"Diabolical." Jacques stated.

"Yes he is~" Salem said with a smirk.

"He's at 252nd street and she's uh...on avenue X, Estes road." Ozpin said as Qrow dropped him and walked out of the room.

"Which one you goin' after?" Ironwood asked as Qrow got on his Batcycle.

"Summer." He replied.

"We're getting Xiao Long!" Ironwood shouted as they rushed to their cars.

Dan floated to the front and looked over at them "Well?"

"Batman's cool." Ruby said with a grin.

"He's dark and mysterious and not in a cringe kind of way." Yang said.

"But I can't believe Summer was having affair with him." Qrow said.

"I wouldn't!" Summer denied.

"Sure." Taiyang said as he rolled his eyes.

"And that Ozpin was such a delight to see, I hope we see him again someday." Salem said.

"Absolutely, he's the reason this is my favorite dimension." Tyrian said.

"Well maybe, depends on Cosmo." Dan said.

"What do you mean?" Weiss asked.

"I've had my fun so I think it's time I take my leave." Dan stated and he was surprised to see that most of them were not happy with that.

"Really? Do you have to go?" Ruby asked.

"Yes, I've wasted enough time here." Dan replied.

"Just one more before you go, please!?" Nora begged.

"I mean-" Dan was cut off as most did the same thing as Nora.

"Please!?" Most of the theater begged.

Dan rolled his eyes "Fine, one more."

"Yes! Which one?" Yang asked.

"Well...what about a comprehensive review on your world." Dan laughed.
