A/N hey I'm back I never did write on vacation I was either to busy swimming sleeping or being sick so I thought I would write now. OK enjoy.

Max's POV

"Where is she" I said slightly aloud since really I'm supposed to be in bed. She said she'd be back by 10:00 and its already midnight. Ok most people think I'm overreacting, like when I'm with a baby sitter and ( name ) and Matthew don't get back by the time they say they will I will sit by the door till they get back. You see when I was 5 mom and dad said that they would be back by ten and they weren't. That's when I started to get worried but everyone that was still here at the time said not to worry that they would be OK so I went to bed like I was supposed to. In the morning I woke up to knocking on the door because I usually end up on the couch. When I opened the door I saw two men in uniform.

Flashback

"HELLO" I smilled and said cheerfully .

" Is Simon Wiegh on the premises" he asks the five year old me. He sounds kinda sad, hmm I wonder why.

"Yes let me go get him, you can sit on the couch if you like" I said as he came in and closed the door. " SIMON" I yelled as I trudged up the stairs, and Simon met me halfway down the stairs.

" What do you want you little- oh hello officer Dover is there anything you need?" Simon askedhhim.

"Why yes you see youre parents have gotten in to a massive car wreck and have passed on. I'm so terribly sorry" he said. Simon asked him to stay long enough to tell the others because he couldn't . I remeber when ( name ) came down she was 19 at the time and even though I was only 5 I could take a lot more emotions than her. She was in her long sleeve floor length night gown and her long black hair was a mess. She was the most up sett about it, in fact she stopped eating much and she didn't talk much afterwards. She also really hadn't smiled or was happy until she met ivan.

When we went to identify our parents body's they were bloody and mangled you could hard lay recognize them. The sight gave ( name ) night terrors for weeks and she still has them occasionally .

" GO TO BED NOW MAX!!!" I heard Matthew yell from the top of the stairs.

" I'm going to sleep on the couch tonight" I yelled back at him. It was a total lie but at least he bought it and went to sleep. Now all I have to do is stay awake until zzzzzzzzzzzz.......

Readers POV

As I kissed Ivan goodbye I opened the door and almost tripped over Max. " Ivan ?" I asked before he could leave.

" Yes darling what is it" he asked me

" Can you take Max to his room he's too heavy for me to carry" I asked him and he said sure and plucked him up and carried him to his room and put him under his covers and left.
