monsters in the end

The girls were sitting in the Apple Rose Grille and Spencer had just explained that the police had found something that matched the sweater in Toby's closet. "Do you think somebody rubbed that sweater on your bracelet?" Josie asked.  "Somebody?" Emily said as she looked at her friends before looking at Spencer. "Try Ian. He's doing everything he can to make you look guilty. Your parents should hire you a twenty four hour bodyguard." Emily said. "What about Jenna?" Aria asked, "What if she paid Caleb to get that bracelet?" Aria said questionably.  "Wait! When was Caleb in Spencer's house?" Emily asked.

"He doesn't need an invitation, Em, he broke into a vending machine with a spork." Aria said, making Josie nod in agreement. "Guys, I think somebody is watching us,'' Spencer muttered, making the girls turn to see some dolls standing across the street. "Those? They are for the founders festival." Emily explained. "Man, if that's what Rosewood's founding family looked like how did they ever get anyone to move here?" Josie asked, looking at the dolls. "Why were they allowed to reproduce." Spencer said, making Josie snicker. "Guys, if Caleb was-" Emily started but Hanna cut her off. "Can we stop using the C-word?" she asked, looking at her friends.

"We know this was hard for you, okay? But we have to talk about Ca," Aria cut herself off before starting again. "him," Aria finished. "If we wanna help Spencer we have to know what Caleb knows" Emily said to Hanna. "Guys, there is definitely somebody out there," Spencer said, making Josie turn around, not seeing anything.

"Maybe if Emily and I cornered Caleb, not in school but somewhere that is Jenna free," Aria suggested. "If he's going to talk to anyone it's going to be me," Hanna decided. "Will you do it?" Josie asked with a shrug.

"To help Spencer, sure." Hanna replied. "Thanks Han," Spencer said before everyone began getting up, but Spencer sayed where she was for a moment, still looking out the window before standing up, trying to get a better view of the outside. "Spencer, are you coming?" Josie asked, making Spencer turn to her. "Yeah," she said before looking back outside before following her friends.

"How's Hanna?" Richie asked as he and Josie walked through the hallways of School. "She's heartbroken, but she volunteered to talk to Caleb, ask why Jenna was paying him and what she wanted," Josie said as they stopped at Richie's locker. "Is she okay enough to do that?" Richie asked as he pulled the books he needed for the next couple of classes. "I don't know, she said she was gonna do it to help Spencer so.." she paused and shrugged her shoulders. "Who knows." she finished making Richie sigh before closing his locker and the two continued their walk.

The girls were gathered in Emily's bedroom. "A key?" Spencer asked, confused. "A key for what?" she asked. "That's what I said," Hanna said as she sat on Emily's bed. "Was it a key to Ali's house?" Emily guessed. "Her locker at the tennis club?" she kept guessing. "Why would Jenna want that?" Aria said. "What is she gonna do? Sniff Ali's old sweaty socks?" she asked sarcastically, making Josie snicker quietly. "If Jenna is A she's looking for any information on us she can get." Spencer said. "You know, I cannot believe that he went through my closet, my nightstand," Hanna said, upset, "What a jerk."

"He's a total creep," Spencer agreed. "He's an animal," Emily added. "Easy guys" Aria said, making them look over in disbelief. "He looked through your stuff, he didn't invade Poland." Aria said, making Josie frown in confusion. Was Aria sticking up for him? "Why are you sticking up for him? He broke her trust." Josie said as she looked at Aria. "He went behind her back," Emily continued. "He stuck his hands in her panty drawer," Spencer said, making her friends give her looks. "Bit far Spence," Josie said. "Sorry." Spencer said.

"Okay, all I'm saying is that somebody can look through somebody else's stuff that they know they're not supposed to be looking through," Aria said. "Wanna translate that into speech?" Spencer asked. "I saw Ezra's website page,'' Aria admitted. "Look, I knocked on his desk and his laptop screen came up." she added. "So, big deal?" Josie said. "What's the juiciest thing on his status update? Ezra Fitz has joined the Mark Twain fan page?" she joked. "How about he has a double life?" Aria said, confusing everyone.

"Wait, I thought that you were his double life," Hanna said. "Fine. Triple life," Aria said before she sighed. "There was this picture of him cosying up to some girl wearing an engagement ring in Italy." she said. "What's her name?" Hanna asked curiously. "Jackie" Aria said almost bitterly. "How do you know she wasn't his cousin?" Emily said. "Because in picture number three they were licking each other's gelato." Aria said. "Guys, seriously. What do I do?" Aria asked, hoping to get some advice. "Be honest with him," Emily said. "Explain what happened and see what he says."

"And remember, people can look guilty of something even if they are completely innocent," Spencer added. "You know what? Screw that!" Hanna disagreed, "Make a fake profile, befriend Jackie, conquer that skank's page and nail his ass to the wall." Hanna said angrily, making the friends share a look. "Or we could do what Emily says," Hanna muttered as the girls shared another look.

Josie and Richie were walking around the carnival, they had visited Hanna who was with Mona while Emily was with Paige and another girl, Aria didn't come and Spencer was stuck with Ian and Melissa. The two had just eaten when they ran into Caleb, bag over his shoulder, and Josie knew he was leaving. "Leaving?" she asked and he nodded. "I have a friend in Arizona I can stay with, I thought it was better than causing trouble here," he said as she nodded before he walked off, Richie giving him a wave goodbye when her phone went off.

I think I found the key, call me

"Shit, I'm so sorry to have to do this." she said as she turned to Richie. "It's fine go, i'll meet you at your house later," he said, making Josie sigh and kiss his cheek before jogging off, to get Hanna.

Josie had met up with Aria, who had come to get her and Hanna, but Hanna wasn't answering so they went looking for her when they ran into her. "Han!" Josie called out, making her turn to her and Aria. "Why didn't you answer your phone?" Aria asked. "I left it at the booth," she told the two girls. "You didn't get Emily's text?" Josie asked as Hanna shook her head. "She found the key." Aria said. "The key that Jenna was looking for she wants us to meet her at the storage facility near Hollis," Aria finished. "Where's Spencer?" Hanna asked. "We couldn't reach her, hopefully, she's on the way." Josie said. "Come on let's go," Aria said as the three of them walked off, trying to call Spencer.

"Why isn't she answering?" Josie asked in frustration. "I have no idea." Aria asked, trying to reach Spencer again as they stopped once they caught sight of Caleb waiting to get on a bus. "Is he going somewhere?" Aria asked, confused.  "I don't know." Hanna said as she shrugged her shoulders. "Arizona." Josie answered. "Who cares?" she said, but Aria and Josie knew that was a lie, they knew she cared about Caleb more than she'd like to admit.

"Han. Hey,  Go over there and say something. Go... Before he does." Josie said, trying to get Hanna to speak to Caleb as the ex-lovers make eye contact before Caleb gets on the bus. "I can't," she said as she shook her head. "Now, come on. Emily's waiting for us." she added as the three walked off again, going to meet Emily.

Josie and the girls had met up with Emily at the storage unit. Hanna had opened the unit and Josie went and turned the light on. "Guys look," Aria said as she spotted a small lunch box in the centre of the room. "What is that?" Hanna asked as Josie picked it up. "It's Ali's old lunch box from when she was a kid," Emily said in confusion as Josie opened it, there was a flash drive in it. "What is that?" Emily asked as Hanna picked it. "I don't know, but we are taking it," Hanna said, putting it in her pocket. "Hanna, wait," Aria said, trying to stop her. "Wait for what?" she said. "For someone else to take it?" she said before walking off, the girls following her.

"Someone has been spying on us for years," Emily said as the girl watched a video that was on the flash drive. "Ali didn't take the video, she's in it," Aria said, "She's in a lot of them." Josie added. "Oh my god," Spencer said, "That's July 4th." she said. "She always said that it was Toby peeping on us," Josie said as they continued to watch the videos, "No, there's no way that this is toby." Spencer said, defending Toby. "Then who is it?" Hanna asked. "How about why?" Aria asked, "Why did Alison have these videos?" she asked. "Did the person who took this know she had them?" Emily asked fearfully. "Is this why she was killed?" Josie asked.
