Maya's POV (the next morning)

I woke up to my alarm clock playing, jealous by Nick Jonas. I slammed my hand down on my phone and it stopped. I looked at my reflection in the mirror and saw I had a big red mark on my check and a very noticeable black eye.
Me: Great (she says to herself)
I put on makeup to cover it up and go to school.

At school

I walk in school. And sit beside Riley.
Riley: hey Maya 
Me: hey riles (she says trying not to look at her because of her black eye and red marked check)
Farkle: lady (flirty voice)
Riley: hey farkle.
Farkle: (turns to Maya) maya.
Me: (looking down at her lap) Farkle.
*After class*
Once I hear the bell rings I jump out of my seat and run out the door.
Riley: MAYA WAIT. Where are you going. (Spins her around by her arm) (gasps when she Sees her red marked check and black eye) M-Maya who did this to you?
Me: (sighs) it was, my dad.
