"Alright, I'm telling Y/N-san you once lost Akio when he was 2"

"What the—Megumi no!"

"Then give me back my wallet" Poor boy only visited to give something to them but the moment Y/N left for work, Gojo does this. He just wanted to go home to his own apartment,yet the 2-meter pole of a man won't let him.

He now lives independently as he went to a university that's far from the Gojo family's residence. Both Gojo and Y/N wanted him to live with them until they get old, yet circumstances urged them to let him go. 

"But Megumi, please just do me this favor once, please"

Megumi stared blankly at his former teacher then sighed. "Fine" he surrenders, Gojo grinned and returned his wallet.

"I'm leaving you money so you can buy food and whatever you want, I called Nobara and Yuji to come over too"

"You what?"

"Bye! Take good care of Akemi for me!" He says as he went inside his car and then drove away.

He was on leave today, it was his turn to take care of his daughter since the nanny took the day off.

"What the..."

"Oiiii Fushigurooo! Eh? Was that Gojo sensei's car?"

"He didn't even wait for us?! That jerk!"

Megumi sighed once again upon hearing the two familiar voices, he did not need to face them to know who's just arrived.

"You two better not cause any trouble or I'll kick you out of the house"

Both Yuji and Nobara stared at him in disbelief.

"Just because you stayed with the Gojo family longer than us doesn't mean you're superior sea urchim head!" Nobara gasped and pointed at him.

"Yeah! Among the three of us, I stayed with them first! So I should have the power! I'm your senpai!"

"Haa?? You think you're superior just because you came first? I'm the one who keeps you in check because you're such a dumbass!" Nobara retorted to which Megumi slam the door at them.

"You are not entering this door until you both shut up" he says loudly so they could still hear.

"Haaa???" Both Nobara and Yuji complains. Then the door opens once again.

"And you better keep those curses inside your brain especially when you're in front of Akemi or else I'll kick you out for good" then he closed the door once again.

"Fushiguro, let me in! Let me in!" Yuji banged the door, until Nobara tried to twist the doorknob and it was actually open.

"You're such an idiot, Itadori" she shakes her head in disappointnent. Of course Megumi won't lock the door on them.

"Now you're just slandering me! What did I do?"

"Didn't I tell you to keep quiet?" Megumi comes back holding a toddler in his arms. Nobara's eyes sparkled upon seeing the little one.

"Give her to me!" She didn't even wait for Megumi to speak, she already took the child away from him.

"I brought clothes, we're going to play dress-up today Akemi! Omg I'm so excited!"

The little child only blinked at her.

"You're so pretty like me!" She squealed and the little girl got startled a little.

"Oi, I told you to keep your voice down" Megumi grumbled.

"Let me hold her too!" Yuji added.

"Nah" Nobara says and turns her body against him.

"You're so mean today, Kugisaki!" Yuji complained.

Megumi sighed as they won't even turn the volume of their voice down, even for just a moment.

"Fushiguro, she's not letting me hold Akemi!"

"Whatever, do whatever you want, just please keep her safe" Megumi already surrendered as he decided to just read a book, but he still makes sure nothing bad happens, and keeps them in check from time to time.

Things were fine, Nobara and Yuji playing with Akemi, when...

"Blue is better! It matches her eyes!"

"No, pink!"

"Blue!"

"You don't get to decide with this! Pink all the way!"

"Akemi had both Gojo sensei's hair color and eyes, she would look good in blue!"

"I don't care, she resembles Y/N too!It's like 50:50, still, pink is better!"

While Akio had his father's hair color and Y/N's eyes, Kazumi had Gojo's eyes and Y/N's hair color. Akemi on the other hand is just Gojo's female version, but just like what Nobara said, her beauty is like a mix of them both. They have observed that her personality is more like Y/N, though, they still couldn't declare it as she's still young.

Megumi's right eye twitched as he gets irritated with their banters already. He was about to reprimand them when the main door suddenly opened, which left him frozen on the ground.

'Shit'

"Oh! Nobara, Yuji! You're here!"

It was no other than Y/N herself who just arrived.

"Megumi, you haven't left yet?" She says as she takes Akemi from Nobara.

"Awe, you dressed her up? In my fav color too. Say thanks to your Nobara nee-san, Akemi" she says and Akemi just giggled.

Nobara glanced at Yuji and gave him an expression that says 'I win, bleh'

And Yuji just pouted.

Megumi on the other hand, couldn't just move from shock. He did not expect Y/N to come home earlier.

'Ah you're dead Gojo sensei'

"Oh, where's Satoru?" And the million dolloar question was asked.

"He left" Yuji says innocently, not knowing the weight of those words.

"Oh yeah, when we arrived, he was already driving away" Nobara added.

Double whammy.

Megumi sighed, he was, after all, the only one who knew the actual reason why Gojo left.

Y/N's genuine smile suddenly turned into a scary one.

"He left?" She says. "Did he pick up Akio and Kazumi from school or he—"

"I'm back! Shit" Gojo almost tripped when he tried to close the door upon seeing his wife.

But it was too late for him to escape as Y/N had already caught his sleeves.

"Where is Akio and Kazumi"

"Huh? I thought you would pick them up— oh, oh, haha"

"You had an urgent file to sign at work or did you just make sure you can line up early at that kikufuku mochi store because of their promo and limited edition package deal" Y/N raised an eyebrow at him while crossing her arms and tapping her foot.

"What? How did you know about the mochi? I haven't even brought it inside!"

"So you did left Akemi just to avail the promo"

'I didn't marry a secret spy agent, haven't I?'

While Y/N was interrogating her husband, the trio are just snooping behind them while making sure Akio and Kazumi are entertained and wouldn't know of their parents' arguments. They were picked up by Y/N after.

'Y/N-san's scary!'

"I requested Megumi to take care of her though, I called Yuji and Nobara to come as well"

"So you disturbed the three kids' special free times just so you can buy mochi" Even after all those years, she still calls them kids.

"Y/N—" Gojo was left tongue-tied, he doesn't know how to reply anymore.

"More importantly, you didn't pick up Akio and Kazumi" Y/N put her hand on her forehead and sighed in frustration.

"I cannot believe you" her tone went serious.

"I seriously could not believe you right now, Satoru"

"Y/N, I'm—"

"Enough of this talk for now, I'm tired"

And for the first time in years, Gojo felt his heart crack. He knew Y/N was being serious, and that she's definitely mad at him. She was tired from work and taking care of the kids too.

The moment Y/N turned her back on him and walked away, he almost wanted to grab her and engulf her into a hug and apologize a hundred times, yet he knows better that she needs to cool off and think things through. Or else they would just argue with each other.

"Cheer up sensei, at least you have mochi" Megumi almost let out a snort at Yuji's comment, but if it was said to him, he would've smacked Yuji right away.

"Papa! Nobara nee-san said you bought mochi! Can I have some, please? Come on Kazumi, let's convince Papa!" Akio came running to him.

"Papa, can we have some?" Kazumi asked nicely.

"You can have them later, kids" Gojo smiled weakly and ruffled their hairs.

"Papa needs to fix something"

"Is there a broken thing in the house, papa?" Kazumi asked. But Gojo only looked at Megumi, Yuji and Nobara.

"Yeah, but you shouldn't worry about it, okay?"

"Okay Papa" Kazumi replied.

"But Papa, did you do something to mama, she looks frustrated" If Akio wasn't just his son, Gojo could have sworn to tie his mouth with one of his useless blindfold collection.

'I swear this kid got Y/N's sharpness I—'

"Akio, there's chocolate in the kitchen, you can have it" Megumi said which made the kid's eyes sparkle.

"Yay!" He exclaims and rushes to the kitchen.

"Gojo sensei" Megumi turned to face him.

"You're on your own" Nobara said even before Megumi could speak another word.

"Don't worry sensei! I'm just one call away! I'll help you!" Yuji said.

But Gojo just shook his head.

"Nobara's right, I gotta fix this on my own"

ok y'all i just found my initial draft for the plot of this fic & found out the ending is so different from what i originally thought of, and lots of lines & scenes i wasn't able to include, i myself is so shocked🧍
