I woke up from a nightmare again.

I shot up and tried to catch my breath. Leah came running into the room.

" you need to get up! Daisy is in bad condition at hospital " Leah said rushing around the room to back my bag.

I jumped out of bed " what I thought I was dreaming that" I said rushing to get dressed

" No olly, you fell asleep once Jacob arrived, we took you home so you could rest" Leah said as we ran to Jacobs car.

We ran into the hospital to see Leah's mum sitting down crying

" mum, mum!" Leah said

" what wrong" Jacob said panicking

" she's gone, she passed away when you two left to get olly" Amanda mumbled

I felt this huge amount of guilt, I caused all this and then made Leah and Jacob miss being with daisy for her last minutes...

" OLLY WAKE UP!" Leah shouted

I shot up and leaned on my hands, trying to catch my breath as I replayed the horrible dream in my head, beads of sweat dripping down my face.

I couldn't slow my breathing down, Leah got on top of me and straddled my hips while trying everything in her power to calm me down.

" olly, olly calm down" Leah said kissing me softly

" it was a dream, your fine" she said putting my hand on her heartbeat.

I was slowly calming down when I remembered it again

" daisy" I said panicking

" where's daisy!" I said trying to get up, but Leah stayed firm on my hips

" she's safe, she's in bed asleep" Leah said softly looking into my eyes

" no Leah, I need to see her" I said, Leah got off me and let me go see daisy for my own eyes.

I walked into her room and saw her fast asleep, I sat at the bottom of her bed and stroked the hair out of her face " your safe" I whispered to myself.

I walked back into the hallway and saw Leah waiting for me at our rooms door.

I walked up to her, she pulled me into her body and just swayed us from side to side for a little while.

" bed?" Leah asked softly.

I nodded hesitantly, hoping my brain wouldn't play this terrible nightmare on me again.

Unfortunately it did, I woke up again trying to control my breathing and wiping the sweat of my forehead.

I tried not to wake Leah up but I thought the best way to get back to sleep is to have a warm shower and then get back into to bed and since I wouldn't need to get up earlier to have a shower because I'll have it now.

After showering I walked back into the room to see Leah awake " shower at 2 in the morning?" She asked " sorry" I said looking down, shuffling back over to the bed " what's up?" Leah asked running her hands down my back as I had laid on top of her with my head on her heartbeat.

" I'm having these nightmare but then when I wake up from that nightmare it just keeps on going until I actually wake up properly" I said, the tiredness of lack of sleep taking over me.

" hey your safe here, think about something else and eventually you fall asleep thinking about that thing" Leah said kissing my cheek.

I snuggled up to her neck and slowly fell asleep.

" Time to get up" Leah said softly from underneath me.

I groaned but listened and got up, got changed and went straight over to daisys room.

" daisy, time to wake up" I said softly putting some hair behind her ear.

Daisy stirred awake eventually " morning" she said giving me a lazy smile. I picked her up and then walked over to her wardrobe " what should you wear today" I asked her " well since it's not Leah dressing me, can I wear a tracksuit" daisy asked innocently " of course you can, comfy is the best way" I said kissing her cheek before putting her down and getting out a Nike tracksuit and putting it on the bed for her.

Daisy walked into the kitchen, I was sat at the island while Leah cooked. I picked up daisy and sat her on my lap, I sorted out her tracksuit jumper and then we watched Leah.

" I see olly dressed you today". Leah said smirking " comfy all the way, isn't that right auntie olly" daisy said kissing my cheek " of course it is" I said putting her into the chair next to me so we could eat our breakfast.

" can you drive today?" I asked Leah.

" um yeah sure" Leah said confused as I was normally the one to drive us everywhere.

We have arrived at the training facility and got into the changing rooms.

Beth slammed her locker next to me making me jump, i wasn't normally a jumpy person and it was hard to jump scare me but today was totally different.

Training for terrible, I was completely out of it and everything made me jump, from the ball hitting the post or the keeper banging their boots on the posts and even the whistle the coaches were using.

We had gotten home ages ago and Leah had just put daisy to bed, I was laying on the sofa with my eyes closed when I felt someone lay on top of me, of course I jumped again and got scared " woah what's up with you today, I've never seen you get so scared at the littlest things before" Leah said looking up at me " it's about the dream" I said looking down.

" do you want to explain what happened in your dream?" Leah said finding my eyes

I explained every detail of the nightmare to Leah.

" oh olly" Leah said sympathetically to me. I just shrugged my shoulders at her.

" why don't you sleep in daisys bed tonight and then move back into our room tomorrow night" Leah suggested

I agreed and then we made our way to bed, I said goodnight before hoping in daisys bed, managing to not wake her up.

After a while of just laying looking at the roof I had realised i just wanted to be by Leah's side, I got out of daisys bed and tucked her in before walking across the landing and going into mine and Leah's room.

She was reading a book " what are you doing still up?" I asked her " it's only 11 olly" Leah giggled " what are you doing back in here?" Leah asked softly " I want to be by your side" I said before getting into bed and laying my head in her chest before falling asleep, praying I didn't have another nightmare......
