"Next time you take me out there, please do caution!!" Ian heard her sister, Ingrid shout at him as he was heading to his room to put back some stuff they used when they were out. It was already dark outside and they were both tired. They lived in an apartment and they later moved to this house which to Ingrid's view, was much cozy and had a wider space than the place they used to live in. 

Ingrid took off her coat and thew herself on the sofa. Too exhausted to even walk up to her room. The last time she was like this, she promised herself to never allow that situation again, ever! As she looked around the room, she kicked her boots off her feet and sighed.

"Oh, I will. Go ahead and order dinner if you want. I'm going straight to bed." Ian informed his sister as he  reached for his phone.

"Nah. I ain't hungry. Who are you calling?"

"Yvonne." then the call was picked up on the other line. 

"Halo? Ian?"

"Yes, it's me. I was calling to let you know that another case is up and...."

"Tell her we missed her," Ingrid interrupted with a wink which faded after her brother gestured for silence. 

"... it's serious. So?" 

"I'm coming. Tell Ingrid I heard that! Bye!" Then she hang up without waiting for a reply from Ian. 

Ingrid and Ian were very close compared to the other siblings in their family. After their parents died in an accident, Eric and Yvonne left the country leaving them behind. So, Ingrid and Ian decided not to leave but instead, stick together which didn't turn out to be perfect but at least good.
