"Hashira Meeting 柱合会議"

The male continued taunting them, his eyes wide with certainty.

Nezuko clenched her fist so hard her knuckles turned white, and blood oozed from her palm.

"Nezuko! (y/n)!" Tanjirou longed to reach out to them. The eyes of every Hashira and the Master himself is on him, Nezuko, and you. There was nothing he could do, and it made him completely useless.

Time moved at snail's pace; watching the oozing fleshy blood drip down his arm and onto you made Tanjirou's insides churn. Drool spilled over the bamboo muzzle and down her chin. Her sakura pink eyes were wide with temptation. Then, not soon enough, she tore her gaze away from the flesh wound.

Silence hung in the air like a thick blanket-the only one's voice to disrupt it was the Masters. "Children, can you tell me what happened?"

"The half-demon, (y/n) Kibutsuji, has not stirred from her unconscious state even after being wounded and tempted by him." The Masters's lips curled into a hint of a smile. His gaze fell towards the judgemental male.

"There, proof enough for you?" The male took a knee and apologized quietly.

The sound of your father's surname sent a shudder downTanjirou's spine. "Can you please just call them (y/n)? They don't like that name." The Master's lips curled into a warm smile. "As you wish since they can't speak for themself."

"Now young Tanjirou," All attention turned towards the Master's soft voice. "You and the other two prove yourselves worthy by defeating the twelve demon moons."

"I will defeat Muzan Kibutsuji!" The Master gently pointed out that he wasn't powerful enough, so he had better start lower. Then, embarrassed through the pillars, warm up to them slightly.

A younger Hishira with an insect-layered haori stood. She raised a hand, getting everyone's attention. "If the matter is over with, I volunteer my butterfly estate for their recovery."

Three Kakushi ran around the corner as if they had been there the entire time. A female ran up and onto the porch where you were laying there, still bound by the arms. Kakushi cut the ropes letting your bloodied hands fall to their sides. Another one grabbed Tanjirou and Nezuko. Quickly as they came, they vanished around the corner. The group of Demon Slayers was about to move on when Tanjirou came running around the corner again.

"Let me head butt that guy! He hurt Nezuko and (y/n)!" Two Kakushi chased after him trying to get him to calm down. One of the pillars knocked him out with a well-placed rock to the forehead.

"Don't do that! You almost got us yelled at!"

"That was terrifying!"

"Shush! You're hurting their head!"

All four glanced at the female Kakushi carrying you. She had stopped running and held a palm to your forehead. A slight groan escaped your lips. "Why is-is it so bright?" Your voice sounded cracky.

Tanjirou's tension melted from his shoulders. "Hey, can you move closer?" The Kakushi took a few steps closer to you.

"(y/n), are you okay?" Your cloudy (e/c) eyes lifted from the girl's shoulder.

"Tanji-Kun... Did he-?"

Tanjirou's lips pressed into a thin line. "It's alright. I'll explain everything later on."

With that, the Kakushi continued running. Although it was making Tanjirou's head spin, and you just barely kept from throwing up.

They ran towards the front door of the butterfly estate but found no one waiting. "Hello? Is anyone here??"

"Let's check out the courtyard." One of them hummed. Tanjirou's carrier took the lead and began to walk around the house.

There standing in the courtyard was a young girl your age. Long black hair pinned up with a butterfly brooch. Tons of different kinds of butterflies flapped silently around her. Giving off a calm vibe.

"E-excuse me? Might we enter?" The girl glanced at them with a warm smile but didn't utter a word. They asked a few more times before being cut off by another girl. Tanjirou observed you pull your haori over your sore eyes.

"Who are you? Kakushi, right? With Patients??" They nodded and let them into the estate. She marched right past them and towards the door. The Kakushi glanced at each other before following after.

Tanjirou observed you pull your haori over your sore eyes. A small groan escaped your lips. "Why is the sunlight hurting...?" The tired words drew out into a soft hum. Tanjirou felt terrible, not like the sunlight could vanish at his whim.

"It's okay, we'll get you into some shade soon (y/n)." He whispered. His hand laid gently on top of yours, helping to block the sun from getting into your eyes. "Hmm, okay."

"Five times? Do I have to take this five times a day? Every day for three months?" Someone screeched. "It's so bad, it's killing my appetite! The medicine is so bitter and I'm hurting inside!" By the scream alone, he figured it was Zenitsu.

The Kakushi's walked into the room only to find the male in question squealing to a young girl. "Do I have to take this if I want my limbs to heal? Really? Can it really heal me?"

She shot him a glare fit enough to knock out a grown man. "Can you please be quiet?" Zenitsu just pleaded rather loudly again. "I've explained it to you countless times. If you don't do what you have to do, I'll tie you to the bed. I can't stand you."

Tanjirou was slowly lowered from the Kakushi's back. "Zenitsu." Their gazes met, resulting in enough tears from Zenitsu to drown someone. He clung onto his shirt, covering it in snot.

"Tanjirou? Tanjirou! Listen to me! That stinking spider stung me so badly; its venom was killing me in agony! And then, that girl kept berating me. Finally, I can't take it anymore!"

Tanjirou watched as you were placed on a bed furthest from the windows; pain resided all over your features, making him worry.

"Where's Inosuke? Did you see Murata?" Tanjirou asked to make him stop screaming. Zenitsu let go of Tanjirou and glanced behind him.

"I don't remember Mr. Murata, but Inosuke is right next to me." So there he laid, completely still and quiet on the bed.

"I see, I didn't notice him at all. Inosuke, I'm glad you're all right."

"My Angle isn't all right! What happened to them Tanjirou!" Zenitsu screeched.

He ignored the pleads. He was happy Inosuke was alright. Although felt guilty for leaving him. "I'm so sorry. I couldn't save you."

"Tanjirou please tell me!! What happened to the-" He was shut up by a pillow to the face from you. He was sent a glare, one that could quickly kill. "Please shut up. I have a migraine."

"It's alright. Don't worry about it." Inosuke's voice was hoarse like yours was. Only guessing he had a lot of trouble with that father demon.

"I don't know what happened in detail, but someone choked him hard on the neck. In the end, he screamed so hard that it almost killed him. So his voice box is severely damaged. Maybe he has turned soft because he was depressed."

"Sorry guys, I was too weak."

You slowly laid down, facing the wall, and curled into a ball. "No... You weren't... I was..." It was so soft; no one would have heard it if someone was talking.

"I have a room that Nezuko can use, (y/n) is granted access as well for their migraine." The girl held the door open. Tanjirou glanced at you, slowly sitting up. Not even attempting to make eye contact with anyone.

For a moment, you stood over Inosuke. Then, taking his palm, you wrote something in it. Gently you placed it down and stood just behind him. He hadn't ever seen this side of you. His finger curled around yours, leading you towards the darker room.

The girl left, and so did the Kakushi holding onto Nezuko's box. You sat on the bed, glancing at the sunset beaming through the blinds. "You can come out now. They said you can use this room, Nezuko."

Tanjirou sat next to you, watching his younger sister crawl out of the small box. "It hurts..." He bent over in pain. "At Natagumo Mountain, I got beat up so badly. It hurts so bad. To be honest, it was agonizing." You leaned on his shoulder, holding delicately onto his arm.

"Nezuko. Thank you for protecting us there. Not only you, Nezuko, but also Master Urokodaki and Mr. Tomioka for risking their lives to save us."

"Everyone has been caring for us. But, I... I have to be stronger."

"Even today, you can say that Lord Oyakata spared our lives. His voice... had an inconceivable intonation. Just listening to him... makes you feel light inside."

"So... They found out?" You whispered. Tanjirou hummed. "I see... So that's why they were looking at me like that." A shutter shot down your spine. Your grip tightened around his arm.

"I don't understand," Tanjirou wiped away the dried blood on your cheek. "It was... Just cold and empty." He let you mumble along, slowly getting quieter and quieter until he assumed you had fallen asleep. Nezuko fell asleep before even getting entirely out of the box.

"I see. You haven't had enough sleep. It's painful and unbearable, but I have to work harder because I'll be an adult soon. Then, I'll grow old and die." Tanjirou took your hand, rubbing his thumb in small circles. "Then, you two as demons will be left all alone. Wouldn't you feel lonely? I have no idea if (y/n) will outlive me."

That kind of loneliness is hard to bear. But, he didn't want the only two people he had left to suffer in his absence. "I promise that I'll have you turned back into a human."

"And you... My blossom, I'll free you from him. I swear it one day."
