CHAPTER 9: AND SO... HE THEORIZED: CHAPTER 470 & 471

Notes:

"Sentences like this" - blurred

Cale was still looking blankly at the notification pop up. He didn't realize how worried his companions are, who was looking at the screen and him alternatively.

He blinks when another notification popped up again.

[Although it was stated that you will receive your reward after the previous viewing, due to the amount of information and many variables, the system is trying to correct it.

Hence, you will be watching another viewing before you receive your rewards. We apologize for the inconvenience. We will strive to further improve our system.]

Cale raised an eyebrow, although he was irritated that his supposed reward was delayed, he can't help but think that the notice was so similar to how some of the apology notices some companies on earth would issue.

He sighs and nodded, when the notification disappeared, he looked around him accidentally and so vicious gazes were directed at him. He immediately turned around to look at the screen.

"These vicious people!" He thought, trying to calm his heart from the scare he experienced.

This caused the people around him to misunderstood his actions. They thought he might be feeling embarrassed that they saw him like that. They all sighed and vowed to be stronger for Cale.

The screen lit up again...

[As the last viewing is finished, all children below 15-years-old can now wake up.]

Many cried in relief, as parents hugged their children who were looking at them in confusion. Eyes asking what happened.

"HUMAN! What happened? Why are we in this fluffy and comfy blanket?" Raon Miru who was the first to wake up looked at the adults in front of him.

On and Hong who woke up meowed in agreement. They were wondering what happened. As the wolf children started to wake up.

Cale only looked at them as the children averaging 9-years-olds approached him. He patted their heads and shook his head, signaling them that they will explain later.

They all nodded in understanding and looked at the screen.

[Viewing will be ready in...

Chapter 470: You made a mistake (2)

Raon approached Cale who was starting to walk to meet the White Star.

"Human! There's something I'm worried about!"

"Ah! It's me! Human, look! This great and mighty dragon is being shown first!" Raon said, his excited visage for all his family to see while puffing his chest.

"What is it?"

Cale brusquely responded as the Dragon half-blood peeked toward the concerned Raon's puffy cheeks.

The elves are cheering, seeing the black dragon-nim again. As in the last viewing, there were only a few scenes with the black dragon-nim and the atmosphere was tense.

Many cooed, wondering how such a cute being existed. Some are wondering if they could ever have the chance to pinch those puffy cheeks,

Some smiled.

How can such a cute being exist?

"In my intelligent opinion, we need to fight to f*ck the White Star up!"

Cale flinched before starting to speak.

...

Many looked at the sky blankly...

What? They all thought.

They must have misheard the dragon-nim.

The White Star scoffed. "Intelligent? As if. You want to fuck me up? As if you can do it." He looked at the screen, contempt on his face.

"Great, the first time I would be shown and this baby dragon is insulting my power." He looked at the screen, the contempt left his face and was replaced with a sour expression.

Sayeru sighed, looking at his liege who is definitely sulking.

"...How about we leave words like, 'f*ck him up,' out of it?"

"Alright! To chop his neck off-!"

"Not that."

"To kill!"

"Mm."

"Then to finish him!"

"I guess that's better."

Many shivered in fright. How... viscous these children are.

Cale started to think that he needed to consult someone else about the children averaging nine-years-olds' vocabulary.

"And whose fault is that hmm?" Eruhaben said, looking pointedly at Cale who averted his eyes. He knows that it's probably his fault that the children are cursing but he will never admit that.

Sheritt sighed in disappointment, which led to the children averaging 9-years-old and Cale flinched. Sheritt smiled pointedly at Cale, who gulped in fright and said, "No more cursing. Promise." This led to the children averaging 9-years-old to look at Cale with wide eyes but nodded frantically in fear when Sheritt looked at them.

Sheritt nodded in satisfaction and looked at the screen again.

'Ron? Eruhaben-nim? No.'

He needed to avoid those two.

The mentioned two looked at Cale with raised eyebrows. Cale refused to look at the two and continue to watch the screen. He fears that they might kill him if he did.

Otherwise, the children may end up shoving lemons everywhere or calling someone they just met an arrogant little punk. Cale decided he needed to meet with Countess Violan when he returned home next time.

Ron's mouth twitched in amusement.

"That wouldn't be a bad idea." He thought while thinking of ways to teach the children about making lemon-based drinks.

On who was looking at Ron only shook his head, she knows from the smile and glint on the old butler's face that he will probably do that.

Cale shivered in fright. "Why does it feel like someone walked over my grave or something?" He thought, shivering again. He chose to ignore this and continue to watch. Thinking that it might be nothing.

Eruhaben pursed his lips, he calls them arrogant little punks because they are. Tsk. This unlucky bastard is what he thought.

Meanwhile, Violan looked at the screen, touched that Cale would trust her to the children's education in etiquette.

Raon continued to speak as he had that thought.

"Fine! Anyway, human. In order to finish the White Star off, we need to fight in the underground area!"

"Right?"

"W-why... Why does the dragon-nim want to kill his majesty?" A dark elf from the Endable Kingdom said shakily.

He looked around and saw the shocked faces of those around him. He saw the looked of horror on the dark elves' faces while the other races looked enraged.

Raon looked toward the calmly responding Cale as if he was weird. The young Dragon was being serious.

"Human, listen carefully."

"Okay."

Cale, who had been bored because the walk to meet the White Star had been quiet, happily nodded his head.

"BORED? YOU WERE BORED?! YOU DARE?!" The White Star yelled in frustration, he can't believe the audacity of Cale Henituse.

Both Raon and the Dragon half-blood looked toward Cale who was so calm in such a pressing situation as if he was weird.

The White Star clicked his tongue, seeing his "son" who he raised betray him. "That ungrateful brat." He thought.

Many elves gasped and look bewildered. A dragon half-blood? Such a being exist? They all thought in amazement.

A noble started to laugh hysterically... "Just how many dragons does Cale Henituse have? This is crazy! I'm going crazy! BWAHAHAHAAHAHA!" The noble continued to laugh all the while his servants chose to ignore their master going crazy.

Meanwhile, Rasheel stood up in shock. He can't believe it. A dragon half-blood? Such existing does not exist. His eyes bore onto the screen.

"Mother, there is a dragon half-blood?" Dodori looked at his mother, whose eyes are widened from shock. Mila looked at her son and shook her head. "That dragon half-blood shouldn't be alive... dragons cannot procreate with other beings as the spouse would die from childbirth and the child would never make it past their first growth phase," Mila explained to her son whose eyes widen and looked at the screen.

She clicked her tongue in irritation. She can see, that dragon half-blood probably live more than a hundred years. The question is, how did he survive and who was the irresponsible dragon who mated with another race.

"Human! The foundation of this underground area is very weak! The ceiling is even weaker! So the underground area will definitely break while we are fighting against the White Star!"

Even without Choi Han and Bud who used swords, Cale, Raon, and Mary's attacks all covered large areas.

Many flinched from the Endable Kingdom. They still did not know why this Cale Henituse and his companions are trying to kill their liege. Why? They all thought. From what they could see, Cale Henituse is a kind individual who sacrifices himself for others.

Why would he try to kill their liege, who accepted them? Who was kind? Who was a benevolent ruler?

That was the same for the White Star's side, so their fight was bound to impact the underground area.

"And if we can't kill the White Star, the bombs that the gentle Tasha planted will explode and break the underground area!"

"Isn't that our plan?"

"That's right!"

Tasha squealed in delight. She still feels happiness just hearing Raon-nim calling her name and giving her the nickname "Gentle Tasha". Meanwhile, all the dark elves shot her a look of jealousy. They wish that the black dragon-nim would also call upon their names. They would die happily afterward.

The original plan was to destroy the underground area if they didn't manage to kill the White Star.

"That is why it is weird!"

Raon could not understand this plan at all.

Alberu looked at the screen intently, he remembers how his aunt and Cale had explained to him what happened that day. He can see when has this happened. He can see the underground city they were supposed to build for the other inhabitants but could not finish because the foundation can easily break.

"Human, I somewhat understand using bombs to destroy the underground area! But what happens if the underground area breaks while we are fighting?"

Many flinched in shock.

The moment the underground area breaks while they are fighting...

The moment the sturdy-looking yet weak foundation and the ceiling breaks...

"The dead mana smoke on the desert will instantly fill the underground area! Then we might all end up breathing some dead mana smoke!"

"Dead mana smoke on the desert?" Valentino muttered, furrowing his eyebrows. "Was this battle done in the at the Land of Death? There was an underground city?" He thought.

Raon could teleport the group away as the bombs exploded if they used Tasha's bombs. Then there was almost no chance of the dead mana smoke impacting the group.

Many priest and priestess around the world who are from light-based churches pursed their mouths in dissatisfaction. Dead mana and a dark elf.

However, things would be complicated if the area broke in the middle of a fierce battle. The chances of breathing in dead mana became much higher in such a situation.

Even the quiet Dragon half-blood chimed in.

"I heard that you guys saw the White Star use his fire attribute ancient power properly this time. I also heard that the White Star is not in a normal state right now after losing one arm."

The White Star had used a lot of ancient powers already and his body was not in a stable condition either.

Duke Fredo smirked, he was correct to make an alliance with Cale Henituse. His son really is amazing.

"That is why you guys haven't seen that bastard fight seriously yet."

The White Star scoffed, "Of course not, why would I fight these punks seriously. Tsk. That's what I thought. But Cale Henituse is being helped by a god. Which one, I still do not know." The White Star snarled in irritation.

"That's right, human! We haven't even experienced the White Star's wood attribute ancient power either!"

Raon was pounding his chest with his chubby front paw as if he was getting frustrated at how calm Cale seemed to be. There was a simple reason for it.

'The human would not do anything to make us get hurt!'

Many cooed. Roan Miru really is the very definition of cuteness.

Meanwhile, Cale smiled. He patted Raon, "Of course, I wouldn't do anything that will hurt you. I might be trash but I'm not that of a horrible being." Cale said.

"HUMAN! YOU ARE NOT TRASH! YOU ARE A GOOD PERSON!" Raon said, puffing his chubby cheeks in indignation. Cale merely shook his head and looked towards the screen again, ignoring the protest of the children averaging 9-years-old.

More than one person palm faced when hearing their conversation.

There was no way Cale had not thought about the things that Raon had just mentioned. Furthermore, Cale hated whenever his people got hurt. He was the person who said to run away and come back later to aim for their backs if it looked like someone on their side was going to get hurt. That was why Raon could not accept Cale's current actions right now.

Many smiled. Those who were saved by Cale looked at the screen fondly. Yes, Cale was like that. When it comes to his people's safety and well-being, he would prioritize them instead of him.

Aigooo... What should they do for the Young Master to finally realize he should take care of himself.

"Pfft."

Cale chuckled. He looked toward Raon and the Dragon half-blood who were looking at him with similar expressions and started to speak.

"The White Star happily sacrificed his arm to save the Bear King."

The White Star had thrown away many subordinates until now. But they had seen him make a move to save a subordinate for the first time.

Many from the Endable Kingdom gasped in shock. Their liege? Throw away his subordinates? There's no way.

Litana frowned, "What a disgraceful person." She darkly muttered.

"This time, he entered the underground area with that Bear King he tried so hard to save."

Cale stopped talking at that point. He then quietly looked forward.

The incomplete Underground City. The bleak and empty sight filled his eyes. He looked at it for a while before turning back to look at Raon and the Dragon half-blood.

Their eyes still looked full of questions.

"Are you curious about my thoughts?"

He smiled as he asked that question.

Many looked away flushing from the scene. They can't believe how handsome and how beautiful the Young Master is. How can a human be that beautiful?

"Ho! There was such a place underground? My liege, isn't this amazing?"

Bear King Sayeru could not hide his admiration at this large Underground City.

Sayeru groaned in embarrassment. He was very excited to see that Underground City believing that it would lead them to the final ancient power that his liege would need just to be tricked by Cale Henituse. He silently thanks the wood attribute ancient power his liege had, if not, they would have fallen to that punk's schemes.

Dorph snorted.

Sayeru glared at him in frustration.

Dorph smiled mockingly, "Aren't you excited?"

Sayeru's eye twitches, he then looked at one of the bears signaling him to throw something at the Lion King. Said bear did throw a table at the Lion King, said Lion King destroyed the chair while laughing, "Ha! As if you can do any damage to meeee--- ack!"

Sayeru sent a light arrow at a distracted Dorph.

He smirks, "What did you say again?"

Dorph growled, he was ready to attack Sayeru.

"Children, stop this squabbling." The White Star looked at them with a deadpanned manner. Both look chastised.

They suddenly felt very insulted being called children by the person who has been whining since the beginning of the viewing.

The White Star's group had seen this large city after sliding down the long underground path. Of course, it was not a regular city.

First of all, it was located underground.

"How bleak."

It was a completely empty city with some places starting to fall apart. The buildings that they couldn't tell whether they were unfinished or broken filled the city.

Many looked awed at the scenery. This place was an ancient city?

However, the road seemed to have been built strategically as it was wide and long. There were dry trees around the city as well.

"It feels like a city that was abandoned a long time ago."

It was a bleak Underground City where no traces of humans could be felt.

He took one step and turned his head. He could see the White Star.

Everybody other than himself and the White Star was currently waiting by the passage entrance. Only Sayeru had received permission to move around.

The others were not allowed to take a single step inside.

"...I don't feel anyone in here. There are no traces of people either."

Sayeru looked around the area. There were no traces of anyone living in nor having passed through the abandoned city.

'So the chances of Cale Henituse having come through here is high.'

"Why would the Young Master go there? What is with that place?" Someone asked. Looking around, when seeing no one knowing he looked back at the screen.

The lack of traces made Sayeru even more certain that Cale Henituse had been here. There were not many who were skilled enough to erase all of their traces like this.

Sayeru reached out his hand.

Crumble.

A small part of the building broke and fell to the ground as he touched the wall.

"It looks very old."

The entire city looked quite old. It seemed as if it was an ancient ruin that had been left alone for hundreds or thousands of years.

'This is the type of place where the ancient power that the White Star is looking for would be.'

Sayeru started to smile with anticipation.

Many eyes widen.

There was an ancient power there?

Is that why the Young Master was there? To get another ancient power?

That was the thought of the people.

Meanwhile, some beings in the Endable Kingdom erupted. "That's why! That bastard wants to kill our liege just because of an ancient power?!" A being of darkness yelled. Many looked at the screen in disbelief and disappointment.

Maybe he wasn't really different from other humans.

"No."

It was at that moment. Sayeru turned around after hearing the White Star's voice.

Pssssss-

He saw a rock that turned into dust in the White Star's hand. It seemed to be debris from the building.

Sayeru flinched and his shoulders started to shake after seeing the White Star's gaze.

'This is dangerous.'

The White Star looked as he usually did when he was extremely angry. However, his voice was calm.

Cale smiles. Good to know.

He then smirks.

"This place was built not too long ago."

"This place? That's impossib-"

Sayeru who was about to retort the White Star's comment quickly shut up without finishing his sentence.

The White Star clicked his tongue in anger. He can't believe he fell for Cale Henituse's schemes. He remembers that anticipation and excitement he felt when he finally managed to get the ancient document from the Whale Tribe, he remembers the euphoria he felt. He thought it might have been a sign that he can overcome the GoD's curse.

But that Cale Henituse... that bastard played him well he admits. But no longer. He will end all this.

It was because he saw the White Star caressing a dry tree branch. Smoke coming out of his hand covered the dead branch.

"This branch died less than a week ago."

Litana gasped. "How did he know when that branch died?! And what is that black smoke coming from him?!" She exclaimed in shock.

Cale frowned. He didn't expect the White Radish to have an ancient power that could know how long a tree died. It was a miscalculation on his part. He clicked his tongue in irritation, remembering what happened in that Underground City.

Sayeru gasped after hearing the White Star's comment. There was no way the White Star would say something wrong, so that meant that it really had been less than a week since this branch had died.

"...But there's no water here?"

Trees needed dirt, sunlight, and water to grow.

There was a destroyed drainage way, but it showed no signs of water having ever flowed through it.

'But the fact that a tree grew means that there was water here. But that water completely dried in a week?'

Many frowned, "He knew a tree died by just touching it?" A noble scoffed. "What a pathetic ability." He mocked.

There was no way that was the case.

Then there was only one answer.

"They brought over a dead tree from somewhere else?"

"Yes."

The White Star was calm as he answered Sayeru's question. The White Star looked around.

"Based on the condition of these trees, this place was created in the last few years. However, they created it to look like a city that was abandoned thousands of years ago."

"...Who did?"

"Why are you asking such an obvious question?"

Sayeru shut his mouth at the White Star's brusque response. However, he soon started to speak again.

"...This is a trap? A trap that Cale Henituse created?"

This large Underground City was Cale Henituse's trap?

A trap to kill them?

Many eyes widen.

The Young Master created a fake ancient underground city to kill this person?

"J-just... how rich are the Henituse Family? H-how can the Young Master create something like this?" A baker asked, his eyes shook. He can't believe it. Just how much money did the Young Master spend to build that?

"A-are you insane?! Why would you believe these lunatics?! Do you think the Young Master would spend his time creating something like that?!" His friend yelled.

Sayeru could not accept that.

There was a simple reason for it.

"This is not something that can be created in a short amount of time! You need at least a few hundred people, materials, and at least a couple of years to create such a large underground city!"

"Pfft..."

"Hahaha..."

"BAWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Alberu laughed hysterically. He just can't. He can't believe what these two were thinking. He knows... He fucking knows what happened because his dongsaeng told him... but to see it for himself. To see them create something as dumb as this... he just can't.

Sayeru started to frown the more he spoke.

Sheritt smiled smugly. "That dumb radish." She thought viscously. He deserves to be ridiculed and being made fun of.

Jack smiled in bewilderment. While his sister, Hannah let out a deranged laugh. "Serves them right. Pfft... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

They heard some footsteps at that moment. Both Sayeru and the White Star had noticed the footsteps.

Step. Step.

The person walking without hiding their presence was walking in a relaxed manner.

However, there was anger in Sayeru's eyes as he looked toward the person.

"You bastard......!"

"How's your arm?"

Cale who warmly asked that question had a relaxed smile on his face.

Many looked at the scene in bewilderment. From what they understood, the Young Master supposedly made that underground city to kill the guy with a white mask?

But the Young Master was greeting them with a warm smile?

Meanwhile, the White Star looked irritated. He remembers when that punk managed to get his arm.

Cale, who walked toward them from the center of the underground city and not the entrance, looked peaceful.

Sayeru looked around Cale. He didn't see anybody else. However, Sayeru believed that the others were hiding nearby.

"Why are you looking around like that?"

Cale's question made Sayeru look back toward him. The two of them made eye contact. Sayeru suddenly felt his shoulder with the missing arm turn cold.

It was not from the pain of losing an arm.

There was only one thing that filled his mind right now.

"...You, did you create this place and lure us down here?"

"Mm."

Cale had an awkward expression for the first time. He had already heard the White Star and Sayeru's conversation as he walked over.

"SEE?! THAT BASTARD CREATED THAT PLACE TO KILL US! HE IS SOMEONE WHO HAD BEEN PLOTTING MY DEMISE FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS! THAT BASTARD DARES TO ACT IGNORANTLY?!" The White Star yelled.

Cale was completely flabbergasted.

'I didn't think he would figure it out right away.'

Many eyes widen. Is that a confirmation that the Young Master really did create such a place to kill this person?!

He never expected the White Star to realize this place was created not too long ago so quickly.

"He thought I wouldn't know? Pathetic." The White Star said.

Dorph looked at the screen in disbelief, "I can't believe he made such a thing."

Of course, it was not just because he thought the White Star would be crazed and focused on finding the final earth attribute ancient power that he would not think properly.

'Young master-nim, we even used our Elementals to create the place.'

This fake Underground City was created extremely well, as Tasha had mentioned that anybody would think that it was a place that was abandoned at least a couple hundred years ago.

Oh.

Dark elves help create this?

But the White Star had figured out right away that it was a lie.

'...He used the tree to figure it out.'

Cale clicked his tongue in irritation. He still needs information regarding that. Hopefully, this system would show enough information to kill the White Star.

Cale recorded how the White Star had just used the dead tree to figure out the truth about this city. He then started to get a headache.

'What do I do?'

Cale was planning on tricking the White Star to believe the final earth attribute power was located here.

"Ha! YOU DARE TRY TO TRICK ME?!"

[REDACTED]

'I guess I have no choice. Let's just be honest.'

"Cale Henituse, why are you not responding? Why did you drag us into a trap?"

Many of the citizens of the Endable Kingdom looked at the screen.

Cale immediately responded as Sayeru asked the question again.

"I'm the curious one. How did you realize this place was fake? I never expected you bastards to realize it so quickly."

Cale noticed Sayeru start to frown in response.

- Human! Tasha and Mary are also asking what they should do. As for the Mercenary King, he's a total mess! The Mercenary King is so loud!

He ignored Raon's comments and focused on Sayeru's change of expression with a stoic expression on his face. Of course, he was just putting on a poker face.

It was at that moment.

"Amazing. Very amazing."

The White Star gasped in admiration.

Cale groans in frustration. He should have thought that crazy bastard would think something as crazy as his idiotic ambition.

Cale turned his gaze to see the White Star who was glaring at him viciously.

"Since when?"

"What are you talking about?'

Cale subconsciously asked after hearing the White Star's unexpected question.

"Ha! He's feigning ignorance!"

Then Cale ended up receiving Sayeru's extremely angry response.

'Why is he like this?'

"Yes, why are they like this? Huh? Why can't they just disappear so I can have my slacker life now?! WHY?" Cale thought furiously.

Everyone saw him frowning. They thought he might be angry because his plan was destroyed because of the unexpected power the White Star possessed.

They looked at Cale in pity and awe. Pity because it's probably the first time the Young Master lost, and awe because despite his first plan not working he still manage to turn the tables up.

This isn't the first time we've smacked each other in the back.

Cale found it odd that Sayeru looked so angry. He was hearing the reports from the others through Raon at the same time.

Sayeru could not hide his anger as he asked at that moment. He was extremely angry right now.

"Since when have you been thinking about taking us down? It would take at least a few years to construct an Underground City like this. This trap should have taken you years to create! Do you think we don't know that?"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Alberu laughed. He just can't. Who knew that underground city, who they deemed a lost cause can be of use in smacking these Arm bastards in their head.

The Dark elves who were responsible for building that place looked at the screen in amusement. That underground city took them two years to make and was abandoned when they realized that the foundation is quite weak.

They snickered with each other.

Nobody could create such a large area in a short amount of time.

Of course, creating a place that looked like a city could be done quickly, but creating an underground area like this was something that required a lot of time.

'That's not it.'

The exploration and selection of a location. This place required a long period of thorough planning to create.

"Cale Henituse, the Land of Death. Why would you create an Underground City like this in the useless desert? Especially a city that looks as desolate as this! You would not create such a place for no reason unless you were crazy!"

Valentino looked at the screen in shock, from his peripheral vision he could see some of his advisors shooting up.

He pursed his lips. If the Young Master really did create an underground city under the Land of Death without permission from them, it would create a lot of political backlashes.

This was definitely created as a trap or for an underground evacuation center.

Sayeru got the chills as he figured that out.

'Cale Henituse is a bastard who was known as trash until just two years ago. So, when would such a bastard have created an Underground City like this?'

Many looked at each other. They were wondering as well how the Young Master did this.

The things that Cale had done until now quickly passed through his mind.

Cale Henituse had appeared exactly as the White Star was about to use Arm and black magic.

"B-Black magic?!" A dark elf said, stammering in shock. Why would their liege use black magic?!

Many from around the world gasped in shock.

Furthermore, he also coincidentally had many different ancient powers.

"J-just how many ancient powers does he have?" A noble muttered, looking at the screen with a dead gaze. He looks as if he already gave up on understanding all that is happening.

Finally, he had a bunch of strong individuals around him that made people question how he had gathered such a group.

Many scoffed. With all the bullshit they had in hand with their sufferings? Of course, they'll do anything to get them back. What a stupid bear. They all thought.

Could it all have just been a coincidence?

Was all of this the result of a trash bastard in a time span of just two years?

Sayeru wondered if Cale Henituse had been hiding his strength for a much longer time after seeing this Underground City.

Many nobles looked at each other. They suddenly feared this young master who seems to be steadily creating such powerful companions.

'No, even if it was not just his strength, this bastard did not manage to do all of this in just two years!'

He probably had been preparing for a very long time.

He had prepared to defend against the White Star.

Cale scoffs. "As if I'll waste my precious years for this petty bastard."

'But why? Why did Cale Henituse make such preparations? What did he know? And how did he know?'

Sayeru started to question everything.

'It has been weird, now that I think about it.'

Cale Henituse had been involved with each and every one of the White Star's plans. At first, he had thought that it was a coincidence. But it was easier to accept that these were not coincidences and that the White Star had failed over and over again because Cale Henituse had planned this long in advance.

"It was really a coincidence." Cale deadpanned. "Every time I go outside my house, I would run into that damn organization. Tsk. Should he not leave his house anymore?" He thought.

'How could there be a bastard like this?'

There was a slight trace of fear in Sayeru's gaze as he looked toward Cale.

That was why he covered that fear with anger. Sayeru raised his voice.

"Since when have you been thinking about taking us down? 2 years! We've only been hearing your name for the past two years! But how long have you actually been aiming for us?"

Cale let out a loud groan of frustration which made the adults chuckle.

Cale blinked his eyes.

'This is weird. Things are progressing in an odd direction.'

"I know. Their thought process is very odd." Cale thought.

He heard the White Star's voice at that moment as well.

"I knew it was weird no matter how many times I thought about it. You might be useful for me, but I have been wondering how a bastard like you suddenly appeared to block my every move."

"You're just incompetent in planning," Cale said, looking so done.

He had a look that seemed to say that he finally understood.

'... Uhh, mm. It's true that I suddenly appeared?'

[REDACTED]

He wasn't planning on getting in the White Star's way from the beginning.

"WHAT?!.... WHAT?!" The White Star yelled.

This bastard who had been foiling all his plans ever planned to stop him but he did?!

"WHO THE HELL WOULD BELIEVE YOU?!" The White Star yelled in frustration.

It just happened that this bastard was in his way of living [REDACTED] and that this bastard's way of doing things annoyed him enough for him to somehow end up here.

Many frowned. What has this man been doing to the Young Master? Many of them thought. As they listed him as an enemy for trying to possibly harm the Young Master.

However, Cale quietly listened to the White Star's comments.

'It looks like it's a positive situation for me though?'

"Positive situation?!" The White Star yelled in frustration. Why is he still denying that he has been transmigrating from body to body for hundreds of years?!

Things seemed to be going well in an unexpected way.

The White Star was looking at Cale with a different gaze than before. He was looking at Cale like he was a good rival. He was also looking at Cale with wariness about someone whose identity he could not fathom.

Hannah scoffed, "Rival? You think you're good enough for the Young Master who has been smacking you on the back since day 1? Such delusion."

Jack smiled at his sister in bemusement. Is it just him or has Hannah become quite sarcastic?

"Cale Henituse, someone whose time is warped. You didn't suddenly appear. In fact, you've been planning for this since a long time ago. Since when have you been aiming for me?"

Many frowned. The young master's time was warped? What does that mean?

Cale found this situation quite amazing.

The White Star's eye is twitching in irritation.

Sayeru yelled, "That bastard! He thinks it's funny?!" He snarled.

He wondered how the White Star realizing that the Underground City was recently created led to this explanation.

The White Star twitches, what the hell was he expecting?!

- Human! What nonsense are the two of them talking about? Human, you are someone without a plan who just looks like you have a plan!

'I know, right?'

Cale could see the White Star's stiff face before he heard Sayeru's angry but slightly shaking voice.

"...You, how long have you known about us to prepare all this?"

'Isn't this great?'

Cale put on a satisfied smile while looking at the two mistaken people.

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS AMAZING!" Harold laughed out loud. He didn't expect this kind of thing to happen. But they're practically fooling themselves while the Young Master merely looked at them and just smiled.

Toonka looked at Harold who was still laughing then looked at the screen, he then let out a loud bellowing laugh. "AS EXPECTED OF MY FRIEND! KWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"You, you......!"

Sayeru was at a loss for words after seeing Cale's twisted smile instead of a response. However, even though Cale didn't say anything, an alarm went off in his head after seeing Cale's gaze that seemed to be saying he had been aiming for them for a very long time.

Eruhaben smiled in amusement. Honestly, he was quite disappointed not seeing this the first time as he was busy protecting the people from Caro as per the request of that unlucky bastard.

His smile dimmed remembering his words. On how they should stop relying on this unlucky bastard and do their own weight. He sighs.

CHAPTER 471: You made a mistake (2)

The White Star, Bear King Sayeru, and Cale.

Mercenary King Bud Illis who was listening to the three of their conversation while hiding blinked his eyes a few times before starting to speak.

"Doesn't it look like they've made a weird mistake?"

Bud who was drinking nodded his head. They really made such a weird mistake.

His head quickly turned to look at Choi Han who was crouching next to him.

"Doesn't it?"

"...It does seem that way."

Bud looked toward Choi Han who was responding calmly but had an odd expression on his face.

"...Ho."

Many giggled. "Look at the Swordmaster-nim's face. He looks quite bewildered." They giggled despite the earlier tenseness they had.

He then gasped.

"So, basically..."

He started to organize the thoughts on his mind.

"They think that Cale Henituse has been preparing to stop them in secret for many years?"

Rosalyn giggled... "Pfftt..."

"Hahaha... hahaha... HAHAHAHAHA... Oh my god, I'm sorry... It's just that... I can't... Pfft... HAHAHAHAHA..." Rosalyn continued to laugh, holding her stomach, and leaned towards Lock who was giggling.

Honestly, do they honestly expect the Young Master to waste his years trying to do something like that? How delusional.

"It does seem that way! Mercenary King!"

Raon who was next to Bud fluttered his wings and agreed.

"...Ho."

Bud gasped once more before shaking his head. However, he could understand how they could make such a mistake.

'Even I would be suspicious about how long someone has been playing if someone suddenly appeared and got in my way every time I tried something.'

And was Cale just a small obstacle?

Ron looked at the screen in amusement. Bud was right. If he was on the enemy's opposition, it would really be suspicious how the Young Master can gather so many strong allies left and right. He smiled benignly at his puppy young master.

To be honest, Cale Henituse and his group were like a large disaster. If anybody wondered how Cale gathered such strong individuals together, it was understandable after hearing their stories.

Alberu's mouth twitches in amusement. He smirks, "Ah, yes. His dongsaeng is a great disaster and I'm proud of it. As long as it's not pointed at me."

What was the phrase his dongsaeng said? Hmmm... ah, yes.

"Suck to be them." He smirks.

'He gave me something to eat! He brought us home!'

'He said don't come because it was dangerous but gave me a lot of food!'

'The human saved my life! I saw the night sky for the first time thanks to the human!'

Starting from the children averaging nine-years-old...

'Well, Count Henituse and his family have been extremely gracious for our father-son duo.'

'I learned how to cook from the Henituse household. The young master-nim used to be trash in the past, but he was still a good boy from time to time.'

Ron and Beacrox.

'I had nowhere to go. No, forget nowhere to go, I had nothing at all.'

'He showed me the world.'

To Choi Han and Mary.

Litana gasped. "It's amazing. I knew the Young Master has gathered people who are considered something of a taboo... but to think all of his companions were people he had saved. It's... how can someone be so kind?" She thought, looking at the screen in wonder.

She wasn't the only one. Many looked at the screen in awe. Thinking of how amazing and kind the Young Master Shield Hero is.

Bud had wondered how he had gathered people with such sob stories every time he heard one of their explanations. He found it amazing that Cale managed to put people with such sad pasts within his fence.

Valentino looked at the screen, he is ignoring how some of his advisors are telling him to call the crown prince of the Raon Kingdom to demand an explanation about the underground city.

He was right. The Young Master was the kind of person that accepts everyone, he doesn't care about their race or past. And this caused him to have so many powerful companions.

Powerful companions who are willing to fight for him. The power of acceptance really is powerful and scary.

"Your highness... we must demand an answer from the Raon Kingdom! This is not acceptable! We should demand an apology from Commander Cale and the people who were with them!" One of the nobles said.

He looked smug. Valentino thought. Probably because there is a chance that someone like the Young Master would apologize to them, it would boost their ego. He clicked his tongue which cause everyone to stop in silence.

"If you would like to demand an apology from Young Master Cale, for something that we don't have confirmation that he might have done something as creating an underground city, and believing someone who clearly is an enemy, then be my guest." He coldly, looking at the sweating nobles. "Although I don't think the black dragon, Raon Miru-nim would apologize to any of you." He added.

He saw them pale. He smirked. That's right. Did you forget that the black dragon was with the Young Master? And there was another dragon, an ancient one. And that dragon half-blood. He still was shocked knowing as a being existed.

'He's someone who doesn't plan!'

Both Alberu and the White Star scoffed in disbelief at the same time.

That meticulous crazy bastard? Doesn't plan anything? Unbelievable.

They thought.

If they knew they were in sync at that moment, one would likely glare and one would likely scoff in contempt.

The more he heard about Cale's progress, the fewer plans there seemed to be.

The few places he heard about where Cale found the ancient powers were huge coincidences.

Of course, Cale's group might have happened to grow by chance, but he was quite strategic about the ancient powers.

Unfortunately, Raon was the only one who knew about this.

"...Is it because he is a good person?"

Many nodded, yes, it's because the Young Master is such a good person.

Bud wondered if Cale was so lucky because he was a good person.

However, he quickly got rid of that thought. Cale had this unexplainable side to him that was cheeky and annoyed people too much to say he was a good person.

'He is cold-hearted as well.'

Litana frowned. How can the Young Master be cold-hearted when all he does is save people?

Her thought was in sync with the rest of the oblivious people.

Bud who was organizing his thoughts recalled the cold-hearted Cale he had seen from time to time. He then had a, 'what if?' question and asked Choi Han a question.

"Cale hasn't been planning this for a long time, right?"

Bud could see Choi Han instantly start to smile. It was an innocent-looking but oddly cold smile.

Bud put on an awkward smile and mumbled as if he was talking to himself the moment he saw that smile.

"Hahaha! A person shouldn't have such useless curiosities!"

He then slowly avoided Choi Han's gaze.

Choi Han looked at Bud who was avoiding his gaze with an odd expression.

'Good.'

However, it was good.

Choi Han had no answer for Bud's question.

[REDACTED]

"But what do we do now?"

Choi Han heard Bud's mumblings and was about to respond to him.

It was at that moment.

"Hahahaha-!"

Loud laughter echoed through the empty underground city.

Cale was slightly bent forward as he quietly observed the laughing White Star.

"He's gone crazy." Fredo thought, looking at the scene in both wariness and anticipation.

Meanwhile, many citizens of the Endable Kingdom flinched in shock. They have never seen their liege laugh like that. It was harsh and cold. It wasn't like his usual benevolent self.

Bear King Sayeru who had been angry at Cale quietly closed his mouth after seeing the White Star's reaction.

"Hahahaha, ugh, hahaha-!"

Cale started to frown.

'Did he go crazy?'

"He didn't go crazy. He was already crazy." Cale thought to himself.

The White Star was laughing as if he had suddenly gone crazy. Cale had always called him a crazy bastard, but he really seemed like a crazy bastard now.

'His eyes are red.'

His eyes were bloodshot and the veins in his neck were clearly visible as if he was holding back his anger.

Many flinched in terror.

"Hahaha-, ha, shhh."

The White Star laughed for a while before wiping his mouth with his hand and looking toward Cale.

"I found it weird."

"What is weird?"

Cale leisurely responded to the White Star's statement and moved one hand behind him. Someone who was focused on his back at a distance received Cale's message.

"It never ceases to amaze me how Young Master Cale can be so calm at situations like this," Witira commented, looking at the scene in wariness. While Paseton nodded in agreement.

"That's because he's not normal!" Archie yelled in his mind. He's impulsive, yes. But not suicidal. The Whale King would probably beat him to death if he said it out loud.

However, Cale looked toward the White Star as if he had not done anything. The White Star started to speak as he looked at Cale.

"Both Choi Han and you have your time warped as I do."

Cale recalled the battle at the Alchemists' Bell Tower in the Mogoru Empire's capital.

The people from the Empire flinched. Even though it has since passed and the culprits have been executed, the Alchemist's Bell Tower is still a sore spot for them. Especially for those who lose their loved ones in that scheme.

The White Star had said that their time was warped when they first met him.

"But even though I can tell that your time is warped, I couldn't tell how it was warped."

"Why is time warped for me? What nonsense are you spewing?"

"No. I did not speak nonsense. Rather, it must be that you are hiding something."

'What?'

Cale who was going to play along with the White Star flinched after seeing his extremely calm demeanor.

"What was this man trying to imply? What is does he mean by how time is warped for the Young Master and the Swordmaster-nim?" A bar owner muttered.

This was what the White Star had said to Choi Han in the past.

'Time is warped for that swordsman.'

He had said it into Cale's mind so that nobody else could hear.

[REDACTED]

He then looked toward Cale and had said the following.

'Furthermore. You, just like that black-haired child as well as like myself.'

The common factor between the White Star, Choi Han, and Cale.

'Time is warped for you.'

Cale pushed aside the memory of the past and looked into the White Star's eyes.

[REDACTED]

"That was why I tried to capture Choi Han."

Many gasped in shock.

"Is that why the Young Master is trying to kill me? Because he tried to capture Choi Han-nim?!" A chef exclaimed in shock.

"Oh my god, what a lunatic. He keeps talking about how time is warped for both the Young Master and Choi Han-nim, is he obsessed? Is that why he tried to kidnap Choi Han-nim?!" Another chef said, voice full of discussion.

Tasha, Bud, Mary, Bea, On, and Hong who were hiding and listening all looked toward where Choi Han was hiding with shocked expressions.

They were not shocked about this time being warped business they did not understand but at the fact that the White Star had aimed for Choi Han.

They had not known about that at all.

Eruhaben glared at the screen. The audacity of this punk.

Not only did Cale and Choi Han not talk about it, but they also did not know the details about the illusions at the Dubori Lord's Castle.

"But you see. Cale, I can't see through you. Your time is warped but I cannot see how it is warped."

The White Star was no longer smiling as he observed Cale.

[REDACTED]

This bastard was not someone who reincarnates as he does.

"R-reincarnates?!" Many shuttered in shock.

Witira looks at the White Star in wariness. They can't just kill him, if they kill his body, he would just reincarnate again. They need to know how to kill his soul to make him truly dead.

She looks at the bastard leader of Arm, one responsible for almost killing her little brother.

Then what could it be?

Why couldn't he see this bastard's time?

The rest of the citizens of the Endable Kingdom looked uncomfortable with the information they got. Their faith with their liege is starting to fall apart.

Some information he had forgotten about filled the White Star's mind and made him have another thought.

Cale started to speak at that moment.

"How are you so sure about time?"

Whether time was warped or not. How did the White Star know about it so well?

[REDACTED]

'No, it's not at the level of feel. He's certain.'

The White Star was certain about it.

Cale suddenly recalled how the White Star had caressed the dead tree to realize the truth about this place.

'...Perhaps.'

Was it possible?

'Does the White Star have a time-related ability? How? With which power?'

"He does, but I still don't know enough." Cale groans in frustration. He had several ideas and theories on what it might be.

The only one of the White Star's ancient powers Cale had not seen was the wood attribute ancient power. But that was related to time?

'Even though it is the wood attribute?'

The chance of that being the case was low.

Then, what could it be?

Cale started to get an ominous feeling.

It was at that moment.

Smirk.

Cale could see the White Star start to smile.

He then heard the White Star's voice in his mind at that moment.

- Who are you?

Cale got chills on his back.

There were many people who had asked about his identity until now.

Alberu Crossman had asked about it, the World Tree had asked about it, and the White Star had asked about it the first time they met as well.

He sighed.

"Human, what's with them asking about who you are when they know about your name?" Raon asked, looking at his father who was lamenting how his slacker life left him.

However, this question felt different than all the others.

The White Star continued to speak in Cale's mind.

- You're a transmigrator, aren't you? Who are you that is inside Cale Henituse's body?

What?

What did he say?

Many people continue to look at the screen, trying to understand what just happened.

[REDACTED]

Cale's face looked calm.

The White Star started to speak again. It was out loud again.

"From body to body. You moved around while preparing. For a very long time."

'Hmm?'

Cale flinched.

Cale groans. His been groaning so much since the start of this viewing.

"Young Master." Ron's cold voice was heard.

He flinched but look at the assassin butler. He was swearing at the white radish for creating this situation.

"What is that bastard on? Drugs, perhaps?" Ron smiled coldly, he looked at the screen. The audacity of this bastard. "What nonsense is that bastard talking about."

Cale blinked in shock and due to shock just nodded dazedly.

The White Star's eyes sparkled even more after seeing Cale flinch as he continued to speak.

"You continued to live while jumping from body to body like that."

"Um... is he on drugs?" Someone asked, looking at the screen in awkwardness.

Many looked at her, and as a whole nodded at the same time.

This lunatic is on drugs. They all thought.

The White Star was slowly getting more confident about his suspicions.

Cale whose time was warped.

The White Star nodded his head, finally, everyone knows now that that bastard is a transmigrator who has been planning on taking me down.

He was not [REDACTED] a reincarnator like the White Star. That meant that the only remaining options were that he was a transmigrator or a regressor. That was why the White Star first went with transmigration which would make it possible for Cale to have prepared to stop the White Star for a longer period of time.

...

"Maybe due to the amount of reincarnation he might have been through he became delusional?" Litana said hesitantly.

"Is he even really a reincarnator, Your Highness? Maybe he delusions himself as one too?" One of her trusted subordinates said, looking at the scene in disbelief.

"... Maybe you're right." She finally said. She could hear Ten growls in agreement. Even Ten understands how ridiculous that man's theory is.

And Cale had reacted to that.

The bastard with a poker face had finally flinched at something he had said.

The White Star had experienced many of Cale's fake expressions until now. Even if he couldn't tell through Cale's fake expressions, he could recognize Cale's real expressions.

Cale's shocked expression as he flinched...

'That's real.'

The White Star was confident that he was right.

Cale was indeed shocked as the White Star was thinking.

'Wait, this is a bit weird, isn't it? How does he come to such a conclusion?'

"BWAHAHAHAHAHA I CAN'T... I... SHOULD PROBABLY BE...PFFTT... SERIOUS...HAHAHA..."

"Nephew... a-are you okay?" Tasha, who teleported at his Nephew's office to discuss how to take care of the situation with the Caro Kingdom, saw her nephew wheezing on his desk.

"A-AUNT... I... CAN'T... WITH THESE WHITE BASTARD... PFFT... HAHAHAHA..."

She's really concerned for her nephew's sanity right now.

Cale was shocked at the White Star's train of thought.

[REDACTED] He was not someone who moved from body to body while trying to stop the White Star's desire for world domination.

"What?! That's impossible! I know Cale Henituse is a trasmigrator who has been moving from body to body to stop me! What nonsense is this thing on the sky telling us?!" The White Star exclaimed. His eyes widen. "I see! Ha! Do you think I would believe everything that will be shown here?! Do you think I'm dumb?! Cale Henituse is something who received the will of a god! You are probably helping him deceive me! I will not fall for it!" The White Star loudly said, looking at the sky.

Meanwhile, the whole world was in shock. This person was trying to take over the world?

[REDACTED]

"Hehe. Yes, your thoughts and actions are not things that a mere eighteen or twenty years old could do."

"That's because the Young Master is an amazing person," Rosalyn said, smiling. Lock nodded in agreement while Choi Han smiled.

Cale who heard this frowned. "What nonsense are they talking about?"

[REDACTED]

"What do you think? Am I right?"

Cale honestly answered the White Star's question.

"No?"

"Feigning ignorance again. Pfft."

'Why is this bastard acting like this?'

"God, this bastard is really delusional," Bud said, drinking a lot of alcohol He can't believe this bastard was the First Mercenary King.

Glenn looked at the screen in pity. Pity for the Young Master who was probably so shocked with the turn of events he had to endure because of this lunatic.

Cale had been so shocked until now that he wasn't even shocked anymore.

However, Cale's expression quickly turned cold. He saw the White Star raising his right arm. He had a bad feeling about it.

"That bastard-!"

Cale could see the fire rising from the White Star's right palm. It looked ready to shoot out the ceiling at any moment.

- Human! It looks like the White Star is going to destroy this underground area! He's going to do it even though the Bear King is here!

'Exactly!'

The dead mana smoke was poisonous for the Bear King. Cale subconsciously turned toward Sayeru. He heard the White Star's laughter at that moment.

Many screamed.

"Hehe. I guess I made a mistake."

"I know. You made a mistake of existing." Cale thought viscously.

"Aaaaaah!"

Sayeru started to scream.

The White Star mumbled in response.

"Shut the hell up."

"Okay."

The wind created a square wall and surrounded Sayeru. Sayeru smiled and shut up as Cale noticed
the White Star's fire sword shooting up toward the ceiling like an arrow.

"No!"

Cale's shout echoed through the area.

Many flinched as they have never heard the Young Master shout before. They all looked at the scene in trepidation.

The White Star turned to face Cale.

"Why can't I do it?"

As the White Star said that and started to smile...

"It's not that you can't do it. It's just that I wanted to do it first."

Archie shivered in fright. "Yep, he really is a scary bastard." He thought.

"What?"

Baaaaaang!

A loud explosion filled the White Star's ears. In this large underground city... The city's dome

shaped ceiling... A part of that large dome had exploded.

"This is the beginning."

Billos looked at the scene in horror and wonder.

His uncle who was with him looked at the screen in both horror and relief. He really did the right thing of allying with the Young Master instead of against him.

Once Cale's comment reached the White Star's ears...

Craaaaaaack.

Cracks started to appear on the edges of the dome ceiling.

Baaaaaaaaaang-!

The fire sword then stabbed into the center of the dome ceiling, causing another large explosion.

That was the beginning. The explosions continued.

Baaang, baaaang- baaang!

Explosions continued on the edges of the ceiling.

"Cale Henituse-!"

The White Star could see Cale who was smiling while looking at the exploding ceiling.

Then the ceiling of this abandoned underground city crumbled down.

Many looked at the screen blankly...

They... can't think right...

What the hell happened?

They all thought.

Meanwhile...

"CALE-NIM! I KNEW YOU WERE A LEGEND! A GOD! SOMETHING LIKE THAT PRETENTIOUS WHITE STAR CAN NEVER BE! AH! I FEEL BLESSED! I HAVE FAITH! CALE-NIM! AHHHH.... SUCH A LEGEND! AMAZING CALE-NIM! YOU ARE AMAZING!"

"Clopeh, STOP THIS AT ONCE!"

"NO FATHER! YOU CANNOT STOP ME FOR WORSHIPPING MY GOD, CALE-NIM!"
