Kokichi pov
It was late at night, maybe 12 or 11, it didn't matter.
I sat under the sky, feeling the hard water droplets splash on my skin. The rain was so loud. The only emotion I felt was bliss
Shuichi was laying next to me, I wanted to feel like this forever, and never let it fade. Everything was so calm, I didn't care about anything in that moment.

Not college
Not Tomorrow
Not the future
Not the past.

Just bliss. As I looked up at the stars, in that deep blue abyss. I felt calm. I felt safe. I felt loved.
I smiled at Shuichi as I began to cry, you couldn't even tell, as my face was fogged by the iridescent raindrops.

"I love you." I whispered. I don't think he heard me, but it didn't matter. All that matter was that this moment could last long.

I looked up at the sky once more, before closing my eyes and letting sleep consume me.

I didn't care that when I woke the rain might be over.

All that mattered was that it happened.
