Max Goose (Mozzie)
Just imagine your 5'4 or shorter in this one😅

"Dear, have you unpacked all of your stuff yet?"  Your sweet voice carries throughout the house. "Honey where are you?" You walk through the halls that you've perfectly memorized, hands braced to catch you in case you tripped on one of your husband's gadgets.

"Max? Where are you?" You shout, tired of walking around cluelessly. You were about to admit defeat, but you heard the unmistakable voice of the short aussie that you loved so much.

"I'm in the garage, hun." Max's accented voice filled you with content. You stand still awaiting his embrace as you hear his heavy booted footsteps draw near. Soon enough you're engulfed in Max's arms from behind, the smell of electricity and saw wood lingers around him.

"Isn't it a bit early to already be messing about in the garage?" You ask, further melting into the embrace. "Nonsense! It's already 9, half the day is practically gone!" Max's voice rings out through the living room. "Where's Skipper anyway, she should be with you." Max says before giving you a loving kiss on the cheek. "She's laying down in the bedroom, didn't wanna bug her." You say, slipping out of your husband's arms.

You walk to the kitchen and grab a bottle of water. "So, did you feel like doing anything today, or are you just gonna stay hidden away in the garage all day?" You ask while twisting off the bottle cap and taking a sip.

"We can do whatever you want to do today, love." Max says, his voice faint as it carries from the other room. You lean against the cool counter, debating whether you actually felt like doing anything today.

"How about the beach? We can ask Tori if she'd like to come with us." You had loved the beach since you were a child. It was one of the places that didn't require sight to be enjoyable, although it would make the experience more interesting.

Max perked up at the suggestion. Of course he wanted to go! The wind in his hair, sand between his toes, not to mention that he'd be spending the day with his two favorite people. "Hell yeah! I'll call Tori and ask, can you get Skipper and we'll meet outside in ten." You smile hearing how excited your husband sounded. In all honesty, he was just a big *small* kid, just a very smart one. "Alright, I'll get changed and meet you outside." You say sweetly before feeling your way to the bedroom.

"*Whistle* Skipper, get up girl." You say while entering the bedroom, guiding yourself to the dresser drawer with practiced memorization that contained your bathing suits. You feel they fluff of your dog brush up against you, awaiting your next command. You pat her and turn back to grab a swimsuit. "Skipper, go get your harness." You command while standing up and quickly discarding your clothes in favor for the one piece swimsuit that you prayed wasn't on backwards.  You hear the scurrying of pawks leave the room as Skipper does as told, coming back a short time later with her harness. You hold out your hand, indicating to the dog to bring the harness to you.

"Good job, Skip." You praise. After a while of fiddling with the damn thing, you eventually get the harness on right (at least you think so, Max usually has to fix it). You grab an oversized shirt and throw it on before taking hold of the harness and direct Skipper to take you to the front door.

Max hangs up the phone with a smile. Tori said she'd meet you and him at the beach in about twenty minutes. Grabbing a bag, Max throws it in the backseat of the truck and shuts the door. He looks back when he hears the door shut to see you and Skipper. He stares longingly at you, admiring the beauty you couldn't see.

Walking up, Max loudly announces his presence as not to surprise you. "You ready to doll? Tori's going to meet us there." He says while fiddling with the drawl strings of his shorts.

"That sounds great, honey. Do you wanna go now?" Your sweet voice carries through Max's ears which, in turn, makes him smile, full of love and warmth. Skipper guides you to the truck and Max takes your hand to help you into the passengers' seat before lifting Skipper up and putting them in the backseat. After that, he climbed into the driver's side and started the car before taking off down the dirt road.

It was about fifteen minutes before the three of you arrived at the beach. As you're sat in the car, waiting for the car to come to a stop at the parking space, you hear Max's phone ding, signaling that he got a notification. Rustling pursues before the sound of typing echoes throughout the car.

"Tori's stuck in some traffic, it'll be about another twenty minutes before she gets here." Max states while opening the driver's door. Walking over, he opens your door and takes your hand to guide you out, then proceeds to open the back door so Skipper can jump out too.

You grab onto Skippers harness as she follows Max down to the beach.

Laying out the beach towels in an open spot near a secluded area on the far edge of the fairly busy beach.  Max layed down on the towel, watching as Skipper guided you to the shallow ocean front. At first it was a sweep with your foot to check for hazards before you allowed yourself to walk about three feet into the salt water. Max smiled, watching as you laughed, playing in the water, Skipper standing attentive as ever, ready at the blink of an eye in case you needed her.

Max stayed in silent contempt, staring off into the blue sky.  "Hey, Max, where are you?!" Followed by frantic barks from Skipper. Max jolts out of his day dream once he hears you yelling. You had wandered into the deeper end of the water. "I'm coming, are you okay, babe?" Max frantically scammers to where you are. No matter how many times he'd seen comrades, friends, get shot or die, he'd never be able to handle seeing you so much as cry.

"I got my foot stuck in this hole, can't get it out." You say, voice shaking slightly. Max rushes to your side and carefully wiggles your trapped foot from the sand before picking you up bridal style and walking back to where he was previously lounging. You held on for dear life, burying your face into his shoulder, embarrassed that you had gotten hurt not even ten minutes in.

Once Max arrived he gently lowered you down to the towel and checks your foot and ankle for any injuries.  "It looks fine to me,babe, but you're staying by my side the rest of the day." Max says while wrapping a towel around you. You lean against his arm and he pulls you in closer, whispering sweet nothings into your ear to make you feel more relaxed.

"I'm sorry, for y'know, being such a clutz and pretty useless." You say timidly, hiding your face in the crook of his neck once again. Max's embrace tightens as he uses his free hand to lift your face so that you meet his gaze.

Although you couldn't see his face, or anything, you still felt the intensity of his gaze burning into you. "Y/N, you aren't, nor have you ever been useless. I'll love you no matter what. I don't see you as some charity case, either. I asked you to marry me because you make me feel love so intense I can't even put it into words. And these past few years of marriage have been the absolute best years of my life, waking up next to every morning beats jumping out of a plane on a motorbike any day of the week."

You feel your eyes begin to water as you're overcome with pure, unadulterated love. "I love you more than the world could ever hope to know, Max." You say, dipping into an embrace immediately afterwards. "I love you too, Y/N." He says, planting another sweet kiss to the top of your head.

You sit in content silence for who knows how long before a certain female australian's voice cuts through the air. "Sorry to ruin the sweet moment." Tori says with an apologetic smile. "But I brought a surfboard with your name on it, Max." He immediately perks up at the prospect of adventure, but soon simmers down, insisting he stay with you.

"No, you go, Tori and I will stay here." You say, rubbing circles on his shoulder. "You sure?" He asks, itching to run to the water. "Ye, don't worry about it, I'll take care of Y/N." Tori says, giving him a reassuring smile. Max gives you a quick peck on the cheek before grabbing the board from Tori and running full speed towards the water.

You feel the shift in sand as Tori sits down next to you.  "He sure is something else." She says in a tired voice, giving you a slight nudge. You giggle, "Yeah, he sure is." You say in a dreamy voice.
