there's a kinda spicy scene ykyk here in this chapter hehehehehe

JANG WOOK WAS ANNOUNCED to a have a duel with the Crown princein the middle of the month coming after the current. Sae-ri was super nervous, she wished for the best especially since if one died in the duel, they died with honor. "Jang Wook, Mu-deok, stay safe." Sae-ri stated, the two were going to Mu-deok's village, Sari Village. But Sae-ri knew all to well they weren't, the girl stepped closer to Wook and whispered in his ear; "Don't act like you don't know i know you're going to Danhyanggok." she stated, scaring the shit out of Mu-deok and WooK.

Mu-deok dragged a shaken Wook with her to the boat, "Stay safe both of you!" Danggu called out cheerfully.Β  The next day flew by quickly, boredom easily washed over Sae-ri, nothing was entertaining because recently Seon-u followed after Wook and Mu-deok to Danhyanggok she always wondered why he would tag along Wook and Mu-deok. And she realized, her brother in the end never cared for Cho-yeon at all.

Despite being engaged to her, he took a liking to Mu-deok. Cho-yeon, right now, was whining and crying actual tears. Seon-u broke off the engagement once more. And her mother, Ho-gyeong, offered to Maidservant Kim a proposal. Jang Wook to marry Cho-yeon in order for him to get his privilege to decline the offer of the duel and get back his privilege to be the next Gwanju.

"Mother! I wish to marry, Seon-u. Not Jang Wook!" Cho-yeon exclaimed, "He has a privilege to become Gwanju, this will grant us more access or ability to find your sister. Do not misbehave, Cho-yeon." Jin Ho-gyeong stated fiercely, leaving Sae-ri with Cho-yeon. "I wanna marry Seon-u because he's the one i love...."

"Yeonie, let my brother go please, you deserve so much better. I get that you love him so much but try to reconsider. There are many other people who would care for you and give you not the bare minimum, but ever more than it. Rethink it, Yeonie, please." Sae-ri begged, taking Cho-yeon's hands in hers, before letting Cho-yeon's fingers slip through her's. Sae-ri walked away.

Cho-yeon started to rethink.

SONGRIM

"A marriage between Jang Wook and Jin Cho-yeon? That is a magnificent idea!" Heo Yeom exclaimed, "A erson must marry one that they love." Kim Dojoo stated, "He cannot marry someone he does not love just to resolve an urgent matter." Park Jin added. "Look at you babbling on about love! That is why you two are still single." Heo yeom teased, "Marriage is no fantasy! I know about love. I even once turned my back on my own master for love." Heo YeomΒ  added.

"But it was all for nothing! Let us push forwardβ€”" Heo yeom clapped his hands, "β€”with the wedding!" Maidservant Kim looked quite frustrated, Sangho had barged into the room. "An unknown man has broken our barrier and entered songrim!" Sangho stated.

The three turned their heads to him in surprise, "Heo Yeom-ah, come outside and greet me." Master Lee raised his voice yet was awfully calm despite the people raising their swords at him. "Who dares to call me by my name?" Heo Yeom exclaimed, running like a toddler. The man gasped, "Yeom- ah, have you been well?" Master Lee asked.

Heo Yeom ran towards his master excitedly, clapping his hands as he jumped up and down cheerfully, "Master!" he said. "Goodness, master!" he bowed before Master Lee. He demanded the swords to be put down.

KIMYOWON FORTRESS

Despite Sae-ri being awfully bored, she still trained with Seo Yul, who still seemed to wonder about who she loved exactly. "Yul-ah, stop thinking about what i said." Sae-ri sighed, "How may i not? I am to be your husband." he said. Sae-ri groaned, "Yul-ah, you are the only one i love. Jang Wook was no more than a silly teenage crush." Sae-ri stated assuring him.

The boy gave an unsure nod, "If so, then...show me that you love me. Give me the affection a wife would give her husband, touch me, hug me, kiss me, all i wish is for you to do those." Seo Yul whispered, holding Sae-ri in his arms. "Yul-ah.." she muttered, brushing a stray hair from his face, the two stares into each other's eyes, melting into each other's touch.

Their bodies felt like they were burning, they have not ever been this close. "We cannot, we haven't married yet." she whispered, though she wanted to give in to his needs, she wanted to whimper before him, she wanted him to destroy her. The desire was burning so fiercely, "Then let's get married now, right now.." he muttered, holding her even tighter.

A huge spark of desire were in both's eyes, their lips met, desire took over them indeed. Seo Yul brushed her hair away, and held her waist, dropping his sword. Sae-ri had also long ago dropped the sword she previously held, and ran a hand through her Yul's hair. Lips hungrily kissed, the two pulled away to simply hide in Sae-ri's room, no one dared to enter her room ever.

Sae-ri slowly tried to undress Yul, as did he to Sae-ri, then the doors bursted open.

"Sae-ri, Yul, let us go drink at Chwiseonru!" Danggu exclaimed, then his eyes fell out his sockets. Sae-ri panted and rested her forehead on Yul's shoulder, the boy her held close, swaying slightly and kisses her head. "Sorry, could you repeat that?" Yul asked politely, though was disappointed by Danggu's interference.

"Let's...go...drink at..Chwiseonru?"
Danggu asked slowly in shock as if he would faint any second now.
