The Hunters

Lloyd POV

It was only a few days later when I had an army of dragon hybrids, there was twenty-five of them excluding me. Bekura had spent the majority of xyr time in xyr room, away from all the noise. Aranea had pawned the kids off onto multiple people and they were always running off somewhere.

"We need to get ready," Morro spoke from where he sat beside me in my room. We were on the floor making bead flags for all the queer dragons in the mountain, most of them were queer in one way or another and always liked little queer gifts.

"Ready for what?" I countered as I finished Wren's AroAce flag, and went to grab the beads for Aurelia's AroAce flag.

He sighed and looped a light purple bead through Bekura's Genderqueer flag, "You know, our finally plan. We still need to gather the rest of the Elements that you set loose on the world," He paused and I could feel the slight glare he gave me, "The ones that are now out hunting every Element in Ninjago and destroying those in their way, Those Elements."

"Yes, I know!" I said sharply, his wings flared out in surprise, before I softened my voice. "I know that I need to get them, but I'm not sure if I should stop them from doing what they are doing. And I already know where they are," I tapped my forehead gently. "I know where everyone is."

Morro made it to the last line of Bekura's flag, attaching the key ring, "How many do they have now?" He asked.

I sighed, halfway through the AroAce flag, "There are currently seven of them since the last time I saw them, each of them has so much power, Morro. Most of them don't even understand the extent of the powers they have." I looped another blue bead through, my tail twitched slightly.

"You still should go get them, were only missing a few Elements after we get them." Morro reached out to grab the beads for Aranea's genderfae flag, his wings lay limp at his side. "They can better track the ones we have left to get."

"I'll go get them then," I said, putting down the finished flag and getting up. I grabbed my weapons back and went to go out the door. A gust of wind pushed me right back to beside Morro. I looked down at the hybrid, who was innocently making the genderfae flag.

He looked up at me, "What?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side, his streak of green hair falling slightly into his eyes.

I shook my head slightly, "Nothing," I went for the door again.

And again I was pushed back, this time I ended up on my bed. Right behind were we were sitting making flags. I sat there for a moment before I got the Mountain to open a hole in the wall for me to go through, and despite that Morro's wind pushed me back onto the bed.

I sighed grumpily, "Fine I'll stay," I paused, "Just until we finish the flags though."

Morro stood up and smirked down at me, " Don't kid me, I know you didn't want to leave." He grabbed my arm gently and I let him pick me up and set me down beside him on the floor.

"You do know you could have just asked me to stay. You didn't have to plow me around the room." I said grumpily. Grabbing more beads for Theron's Libragender flag.

He kissed me on the cheek, his wing wrapping around me, "Look who's the grumpy one now!" He laughed.

I smiled up at him, and kissed him, "What are you talking about, Grumpy Storm." I teased after we parted.

We ended up cuddling for a while before we went back to beading.

~Time Skip~

By the time we ended we had 18 flags: two achillian flags for Morro and I, Agender and AroAce for Wren, Straight for Kiki, MlM for Mari, Trans, Pan and Ace for Neo, Libragender and Bi for Theron, Genderqueer, Omni and Demisexual for Bekura, Genderfae and Sapphic for Aranea, and Demiboy and AroAce for Aurelia. Each of them had the hybrids name on it and ones with multiple are all attached together, but have key rings on them. The Ninja would have to earn my trust to get their own, if they wanted them that is.

Morro and I sat on the ledge outside my room, my bag was beside me and ready to go, Morro had the flags ready to go to each person.

"I can't let you go alone," Morro said, determined.

"But," I countered, "You we can't leave the Mountain unattended, especially with all the precarious alliances we have with the other Elements."

Morro sighed and leveled me with a concerned look, "At least take two hybrids with you, I can't just let you go by yourself. Not when I can send someone after you to tail you."

"Fine," I relented, "I'll take two hybrids with me,"

Morro smiled and gave me a soft kiss on the cheek, "Just make sure you come back right away, I hate not being able to see you."

I pulled the older boy into a hug, "You know I can take care of myself,"

"I know you can," He said softly, his voice right by my ear. "I just wouldn't know who to destroy when they hurt you."

I chuckled softly and pulled away, standing up I grabbed my bag and hopped off the ledge. I glided down on wings that didn't exist, flying for me, was more like going through light water. I blew out a rumbling whistle to summon Cole. I had no idea why whistling in different tones made the dragons and hybrids appear, but different pitches called different hybrids and dragons. I let out another low whistle to call Bekura.

As I reached the door the other two appeared and joined me, "Have you two met yet?" I questioned the two.

Cole smiled, lightly, "I don't believe so, I'm Cole," He held out his hand for xem to shake.

Xe held strong against the taller hybrid, Bekura was shorter than most hybrids, but did nothing to limit her. I fact it helped her sneak around. "I was hiding from all the noise, I'm Bekura. Elemental Master of Echos and I go by xe/xem, just so you know." Xe smiled in hope.

"I'll have to remember that, and I promise not to be really loud," The bright smile had yet to leave Cole's face.

Bekura broke into a real smile, thankful for his words.

"That reminds me," I pulled out Bekura's three flags. "These are for you," I handed her the flags. "Morro and I made these earlier."

Xe took them gratefully, "Thank you Lloyd, I'll have to thank Morro too when I see him."

I nodded, "Now. I called you both here to retrieve seven hybrids from the mission I sent them on, they have been going around collecting other Elements. It's time for them to come back home."

Bekura and Cole nodded, before he spoke, "Not to be rude and all, but why am I here?" Cole questioned. "You have plenty of hybrids here that you probably trust more that me, so why did you choose to bring me along?"

I smiled slightly, "Since you were the first one to forgive Morro for what he did, and you've been getting along with everyone. I figured you would want to go out and feel the Earth beneath your feet again." I flicked my tail in his direction, and he smiled. His wings and tail twitching happily.

"Now as much as I would love to talk," Bekura spoke up. "We have a mission, do we not?"

"Yes, we do," I pushed open the door, "Let's go!"

We went out into the light of sunsetting gently, lighting the dark rocks of the Mountain on fire. I took on my full dragon form and the others following suit. Bekura grew into xyr more bat like form, xyr large ears flickering at all the sounds. Xyr dark gray tail flickered slightly. Cole's four wings stretched above him, each set for an Element, his tails had the same thing going on. One bone like with a mint aura and the other black and dark brown with a warm brown under belly. He was build slight, but burly. His overall color was black, but bone spike were scattered around his body, and dark brown plates.

I took off, the others following after. The Hunters were set up in the central forests of Ninjago, they were after another Element, but it was hard to tell which one. I could have just called them, but I figured it would be better to go out into Ninjago again.

I glanced at the two flying with me. Cole's Earth wings appeared to be stronger than his other set, but he looked steady. If he tucked the Ghost wings in he would be able to fly faster, but the ghost wings added stability. Bekura on my left had xyr ears down to avoid random sounds and wind attacking them. Xe could fly quite fast when xe wanted to, but we kept an even pace for the newer hybrid we were traveling with.

We neared the coast and I set a slight vear to the left, this way we cold head in away from any direction and have a straight shot to the Hunters.

There's the newest chapter, this one was really fun to write. Happy reading!

Peace Out! ;)
