Y/N knew she said they'd meet in two daysβ€” but she didn't exactly know what she wanted to do with those two days.

Her original plan was to just wander around Musutafu, but it's not like she hasn't been here a thousand times before.

She's over two hundred years old, and while that was nice when it comes to experienceβ€” it also meant things got old real quick.

Maybe that's why she likes interacting with humans more. They're always new and adapting as time goes onβ€” it's interesting to her.

Her interest stopped at a mild fascination, though. She never bothered to try and figure out why exactly they act how they act.

I got way too off track, didn't I? Y/N thinks with a sweatdrop, still mindlessly wandering the streets of Musutafu.

The bright teal glow coming from a more closed off and secluded alleyway catches her eye.

Why not? Y/N thinks, walking over to the metal fence that blocked the alleyway off from the public and climbing it, porcelain hands wrapping around each of the gaps in it.

Reaching the top, she jumps down, landing without a single slip as she looks back to make sure nobody saw her since it was technically illegal.

Nobody was even around the alleyway, the street looking nearly abandoned.

Though, it did make sense, the sun was starting to set and nobody wanted to be out after dark in an area like this.

A subtle heat and another bright teal glow catches Y/N's eye again, looking over to see it was from around the corner of the alley.

Well, except for whoever that is.

Y/N wordlessly walks over and peaks around the corner, eyes landing on two figures.

One was of a human(?), but she couldn't really tell given that their body was burned and all-over a charcoal color.

The other, was a man that seemed to be around his mid to early twenties, black hair that seemed to bit a bit white at the roots. Electric teal eyes that matched the color of the flames emitting from his palms.

"Woah! been a while since I've seen someone getting cremated in a random alleyway." Y/N hums lightly, strolling out from around the corner only to be met with bright teal flames shooting towards her.

"Hey! Watch that!" Y/N yelps, jumping away from the fire as she looks down at her dress, making sure it wasn't damaged.

Luckily, it seemed to just escape the flames as Y/N turns to glare at the fire-user.

The unknown man frowns back at the puppet, but didn't move to attack, seemingly recognizing who exactly she is now.

"You're the doll chick, the one that hung out with him." The unknown man recognized her, Y/N blinking in surprise before smiling brightly.

"So you recognize me? How sweet!" Y/N grins at the man before suddenly frowning, walking closer to him.

The man was tempted to step away from the puppet and just burn her until nothing but ashes remained, but held back.

Y/N frowns at the villain, grabbing the top of his shirt and pulling him down so she can grab his face. Ignoring his undignified protests, she observes his facial features, tilting his head back and forth before she gasps in realization.

"You're Endeavor's kid!"

The villain freezes at that, not understanding how the puppet who only met him like once when he was a kid, recognized him.

"I can't remember your name, but you're the oldest one! The one with changing hair!" Y/N declares confidently, unaware of the man's inner turmoil and his boiling temptations to just burn her.

"Oh well, can't really blame you." Y/N (finally) backs away from the man, crossing her arms, "Endeavor is a nuisance to deal with. Must've been horrible having him as a father."

The man snaps out of his inner panic to give a glare at the puppet, "No shit."

"Awh! Don't be that way..." Y/N trails off for a moment, trying desperately to remember his name but ultimately failing, "What's your name?"

"I go by Dabi now." The manβ€” Dabi, told the girl, who deadpanned in response.

"Cremation. Very creative." Y/N quips, Dabi going to snark something back but was cut off by Y/N's phone ringing.

Y/N picks it up, shoving her hand on the face of the fire user to make sure he wouldn't say anything.

"Hello! You've reached Y/N! What can I do for ya'?" Y/N asked, holding the phone to her ear so the villain wouldn't hear.

The person on the other line replies, making Y/N's eyes light up.

"Yagi! Hi! What did you call me for?"

...

"Hm... Would around five or six in the morning work for you?"

...

"Gotcha! See you and Izu-chan there!" Y/N replies before hanging up the phone, turning back to the villain would was about ten seconds away from cremating the doll.

"You're scary, Dabi." Y/N's voice was flat, it wasn't fearful nor teasingβ€” just a plain statement. "Anyway! I'm going now! You have fun doing..."

Y/N spares a glance towards the burned body. "That."

Y/N grabs a small piece of snow white paper out of her pocket, text of her name and phone number imprinted on the top. "Ever want to get in contact, message me there!"

The man stares down at the paper for a moment before it suddenly gets enveloped by the burning teal flames.

"...Or not."

AUTHOR NOTES

I both love and hate Dabi at the same time, yk?

Also Y/N visited the Todoroki family a total of TWO times! Once when Shoto was born, and once when Touya had supposedly died.

She knows most of the top pro's family's but doesn't interact with them much.

Her situation is complicated, since the HPSC doesn't want a 200+ year old puppet who's basically immortal as an enemy, but Y/N never bothered to become a pro hero.

(Also Y/N IS indestructible, but that's going to be explained later!)

So her situation is complicated, she can do a lot more than the average citizen can, but she can't quite do what a pro hero can (legally speaking)
