Chapter 2

When she got to her kingdom, she got off the horse as fast as she could and started fighting as more men ran straight to her in pure anger and hatred. She killed off enough so that she could go inside the castle fighting more people that she didn't recognize and that didn't recognize her. She kept fighting till she came face to face to someone from her past. She stopped fighting and lowered her sword. "Matthew?" She asked looking at him.

"Annabeth?" Matthew asked as a girl her age came around the corner. They both looked at each other and rises their swords to each other. "Leah it's fine it's just Annabeth." Matthew told her.

"Annabeth?" Leah asked. The two slowly walked closer to her and hugged her.

"What are you two doing here? Why are you attacking my kingdom?" She asked looking at them.

"We are so sorry. We got told that we had to take this kingdom over before your father seeks too much power." Matthew explained.

"You're not going to get much out of it. Not even a victory cause he died 11 months ago." She told them looking down.

"Oh god. Anna i'm really sorry. Truly. We'll stop the attack right now." Leah told her as the three of them walked to the balcony. "Everyone stop! It was a mistake!"

"You are not going to get a victory out of any of this! My people and invading people the king is dead. He died 11 months ago right before my eyes but my purpose still needs to be fulfilled. The reason he and i came all the way to Persia." Anna announced as everyone gasped.

"Everyone move out! We are not invading this kingdom! Go back!" Matthew told them. All the soldiers moved out and headed back home as Leah and Matthew stayed back.

"So when do i get to meet this lucky prince of yours i heard about?" Leah asked with a smile.

"Right now if you'd like. You too Matthew." She answered looking at them.

"Of course." Matthew said as they all walked out to the horses to ride back to Persia.

When they get to Persia, she watched as the gates opened for them. She looked at the amount of horses at their posts. "Oh shoot he's back. He's going to be mad and worried." She thought. They all got off the horse and walked inside. "Let me do the talking for right now." She told them. They both nodded their heads before they all walked inside the throne room. When they walked in she seen Dastan and the others turned around. Dastan walked to her worried and hugged her tight.

"Oh god where were you? Are you alright?" He asked as he released her.

"My kingdom was under attack i had to go. I'm alright." She answered looking at him. "Everyone is alright." She placed her hands on his and gently released them walking backwards to the other two. Dastan looked at the two visitors but glared at Matthew.

"Who are they?" He asked.

"This is Princess Leah and Sir Matthew of the Southern Isles. They are just friends." She answered looking into his eyes. "Leah, Matthew this is Dastan. The one i'm engaged to." She walked to the king and the other two sons. "This King Sharaman and Prince Tus and Garsiv." She introduced as she bowed to them. Both Leah and Matthew bowed to them the same way.

"Your majesty we are so sorry to have caused you and Lady Anna any trouble. We were lied to. We were told that King Joseph was after more power." Leah told them staying in a bow.

"You can't live under his conditions. Come live with me." Anna told them.

"Even after what happened?" Matthew asked as he tries not to smile.

"Yes. If your king told you to attack the kingdom out of pure lies he'll tell you to do it again or worse kill the both of you for betrayal." She answered looking at both of them.

"Lady Annabeth you do have a point. How about they stay here in Persia?" Sharaman tells them.

"If you are alright with it your majesty." Annabeth replied looking at him.

"It is settled then. Lady Leah, sir Matthew welcome to Persia." Sharaman tells them.
