The people always said that Yujin is remarkably forbearing and the kindness person in the neighborhood. Expect now that she lost all patience. She wasn't anticipating Bahiyyih returning home from school with Xiaoting, Who happens to be seriously harm. Nonetheless she didn't hesitate to gather her medical kit to the living room to treat Xiaoting's wound. The sight of Xiaoting's gash made Yujin a bit apprehensive, However she puts her uneasiness aside and immediately went to work. During so the oldest of the room could feel a presence peeking over her shoulder. Bahiyyih kept questioning nervously to Yujin if the other will be fine or not, In which made Yujin a bit frustrated not delighted at her younger cousin blabbering her with anxious comments.

Yujin wanted to cuss Xiaoting out, But she had to consider Bahiyyih's emotional state. The younger isn't naive or anything. She's just a bit sensitive when it comes to troubling situations. After what it seems to be 15 minutes Yujin was finally able to finish bandaging the last touches on Xiaoting's wound.

"Don't move"

Yujin packed up nursing material and puts it away in it's rightful place. As she's washing her hands, Xiaoting on the other hand was staring vacantly at the ceiling. She signs in relief. Her body gaining warmth by the soft texture of the couch. Eventually Xiaoting let her eyes flutter close letting the exhaustion guide her to deep slumber. Once Bahiyyih was sure Xiaoting was fast asleep, She steadily tips toes to approach Yujin who's currently washing her face thoroughly on the bathroom sink then grabbing a towel to dry. None of the two decided to speak, But Yujin opens her arm when she catches silent tears falling down the youngest cheeks. Bahiyyih instantly latched onto Yujin's arms, and sobs on her shoulders. The younger can feel gentle rubs on her back. Yujin didn't courage herself to break the hug when she noted that they've hugging for approximately 10 minutes. Since Bahiyyih didn't show any signs of distancing herself from the embrace, Yujin carry on comforting the other.

"Don't blame her" Bahiyyih pleaded nervously really hoping Yujin wouldn't try to rebuke Xiaoting.

Yujin immediately soften by the younger words like she was casting a spell on her. She truthfully wanted to snap at Xiaoting for being so careless, But it would be unsympathetic of her if Yujin didn't at least let the both of them explain what exactly happened. The last thing the oldest needed was anyone to get dangerously hurt. Finally Bahiyyih detach herself from Yujin's arms.

"What happened?"

Bahiyyih sighs wearily, "Karina".

That explains everything. Yujin automatically let the anxiety settle in her chest as she takes a minor breathe to calm the upsetting feeling filling her stomach. Yujin wasn't necessarily intimidated by Karina, But the discomforting news that she has come back to town made Yujin studious. She can't bear with the fact that there's a great chance the people under her wing is in somewhat in risk. Even so that didn't entirely explains how Xiaoting got hurt. Yujin knew it was apparent that the cause of Xiaoting's injury has to due with Karina's unexpected arrival bearing in mind that she was visiting nuclear families outside the urban area. According to closets neighbors she was supposed to be away at least for two months. It hasn't been the end of the first month so that has to only mean Karina change her plans for what reason, Yujin doesn't really know.

"I know on your way here was eventful, But I suggest you get your homework done before dinner. I think it's better if we don't talk further about this because I wouldn't want you to lose your appetite" Yujin protested flatly. She had to excuse herself from going into more details about the perturbing occurrence. She believe that at the moment Bahiyyih should recollect herself. Bahiyyih nods lightly understanding where the older is coming from. She sends Yujin a soft smile before existing the bathroom leaving the other standing in silence. Yujin knew she had to do something about this. She wasn't letting this situation dump in the trash. She won't accept what Karina has done. Sadly people born and raised in this dull town regularly experienced what the two has went through today afternoon.

Yujin leaves the restroom and heads to her bedroom closing the door noiselessly. She roams around the messy room looking for her phone. She finds it under a bunch of written papers that are sitting on the desk. She scrolls throw her contact list for a certain person. Finally she clicks the button to call, and places the phone against her ear ready to chat.

"Hello? Yujin?" The person on the other side of the phone answers confusedly still Yujin caught on the worrisome tone. Yujin takes a deep breathe before talking.

"Dayeon, I need your help".

Chaehyun purposely peeps over the nude white curtains to grasp what's going on outside her apartment from the 2nd floor. She was careful to not fully reveal her watchful eyes. She spots a little girl stepping out the bus, and watches as she runs adorably to her mother. As lovely it was to catch sight of the child and mother meet, The environment itself isn't moderately radiant. The amount of misery in the town almost destroys the good values it contains. There's certainly companionable people around, There's people who aren't exactly a menace, But normally goes about their days doing bad habits. Lastly there's people who are just evil. Chaehyun never thought of moving anywhere else for personal reasons. After she sees there isn't much going on she saunters to the living room and absentmindedly continues to watch a drama displaying on her tv.

"I'm hungry"

Chaehyun faintly hears a voice that she can easily recognized. She doesn't bother to face the other and abstractedly stares at the screen in front of her.

"There's leftovers from yesterday" Chaehyun provided lazily pointing at the fridge.

Hikaru shrugs obliviously and heads towards the kitchenette area. She doesn't normally eat leftovers because they don't taste the same when they're freshly made, But she wasn't going to be picky since she is hungry. She sings to herself as she waits for the food to heat up in the microwave.

"How was school?" Chaehyun decides to asked interrupting Hirkaru's mini performance.

"Eh nothing special" Hikaru replies.

Chaehyun hums. She's relief that Hikaru left school early since she had to attend to a doctor's appointment late morning. The second she received a text message from Dayeon saying that Karina is back in town made her uncomfortably on edge.

A knock puts back Chaehyun from a daydream. She almost forgotten that she is expecting guest this afternoon. Hikaru who was closer to the door looks through the peephole sightly leaning on the tips of her toes. She then opens the door greeting the visitor a beaming grin.

"Yeosang" Hikaru cheers opening the door enough for the male to enter. Yeosang ruffles the female's hair causing the younger to pout. Chaehyun stands up, and salutes the older with a welcoming hug. Hikaru afterwards stated that she'll be in her room watching YouTube videos. After that Chaehyun leads the other to her bedroom wanting the upcoming discussion to be private even though Hikaru locked herself in her room, But since Chaehyun's room is across the other side of Hikaru's, There was a better chance Hikaru won't able to overhear. Firstly Chaehyun offers anything to drink, But Yeosang declines smoothly and takes a seat on a black wheelchair.

"Have you heard?" Chaehyun asked quietly. She suspects that he completely aware of what the younger is implying, Still she decides to approach the discussion with a simple question.

Yeosang nods.

"She returned early" He commented.

"We're not safe" Chaehyun uttered worriedly.

"We're never safe" Yeosang asserted.

It came to Yeosang's attention that Chaehyun isn't taking the news professionally well. Although he completely has an idea how the younger felt, He wonder curiously why she seems rather unusually bothered. Never once she was too frighten into submission. He's aware how dreadful the problem is that doesn't explain why Chaehyun's overwhelming behavior. Nevertheless that doesn't stop him from being there for his closest friend.

"Xiaoting got ambush by Karina and her people" Yeosang shares.

Chaehyun frowns.

"I didn't know" She admits.

"San's words" He confirmed. Something in Chaehyun knows that Dayeon knew about Xiaoting getting hurt, But she wasn't in the position to intervene at least not right now.

"Please, Protect Hikaru" Chaehyun begs hopelessly. She doesn't know why she said those words since Hikaru has been safeguarded by Hongjoong's and his people for a long time. But she wanted her concern to be heard.
