I have never been good at saying goodbye

I have never been good at letting someone go

But I know that I have to

Goodbyes are hard

Simply for the fact that goodbyes are for good

There is no turning back

Saying goodbye to you

Was such a hard thing 

I couldn't stop it though

For it had to be done

I couldn't stop it

When I cried over the loss of you on Earth

But at least now

I can mourn and grieve 

And I can say

Goodbye for now

Because if there is a Heaven 

I will hopefully meet you there
