Rosaleé sat at the Gryffindor table, filling her plate up with the vast amount of food available. Around her people were laughing and talking, enjoying being  back at Hogwarts. She admired the enchanted night sky as she blocked out Sirius' flirting.

"I knew you'd be sorted into Gryffindor" James spoke helping himself to some more potatoes "it's the best house here" he said proudly.

Rosaleé only nodded and smiled. She had figured out a while ago that it was best to just smile and agree with James.

A red headed girl from down the table caught her attention. "Hi I'm Lily Evans, Head Girl. I'd just like to welcome you to Hogwarts and let you know if there's anything you need feel free to just ask. I trust James has been doing his Head boy duties correctly, by introducing you to everyone?"

"What? You're head boy!?" The blond asked the bespectacled boy quickly.

"Don't sound too surprised" he scoffed

" just didn't take you as the type" she raised her eyebrows as Sirius, Peter and Remus snickered.

"He's not. We think Dumbledore had a stroke when he chose James" Sirius quipped with a grin while Rosa smirked.

"Shut up" James snapped throwing a pea at Sirius' head.

"Hey Rosa you never said why you moved schools" Peter questioned

"Oh I was excluded" she said casually buttering her bread as James choked on his juice and Sirius grinned. Meanwhile a small smile of amusement grew on Remus' face.

"I knew I liked you for a reason" Sirius hummed

———-

The feast had swiftly ended and the marauders had insisted on showing Rosaleé around the common room. Sat across from the fire and watched the flames dance as James and Sirius wrestled on the floor behind her while Peter laughed at them. The common room was beautiful and had a warm homely feel to it. Seeing Remus sat on an armchair on the other side of the room she made her way over. Perching on the arm of the sofa she craned her neck over the top of his book. Her blond hair tickling his neck.

"Whacha reading?"

"Oh erm just a charms book. I'm trying to learn some useful ones that we didn't end up learning in class" he spoke with a faint blush as he quickly glanced back down to his book from Rosaleés face.

"Woah this seems like some really complicated shit" she whistled. "Not like I would know though" she laughed. "I never really listened in classes"

"Sounds like some people I know" Remus grinned, looking in James and Sirius' way. "I'm deeply sorry that you had to be left alone with Sirius and Peter on the train. That must of been traumatising for you"

"Yes it was fairly terrifying" Rosa laughed "they're nothing I can't handle though" she winked.
The boy looked back down at his book shyly.

"Where were you on the train anyway?"

"Me and James had a prefects meeting"

"I knew you'd be a goody two shoes"

"A goody two shoes?" He smirked raising an eyebrow

"Yep. You boys won't be able to keep up with me" she challenged.

"I wouldn't be so confident" he laughed, finally relaxing in the girls company.

"I guess we're just going to have to wait and see then" Rosa smiled smugly as she hopped off the arm of the chair and headed up-to her dorm.

———-

Rosaleé really liked her dorm mates. Lily Evans had made sure that she was perfectly comfortable and ready for her first day of lessons the next morning while she introduced her to the other girls in her dorm.

While she got on quite well with the girls, Alice and Mary, she had instantaneously found a connection with the tall pretty blond girl named Marlene. The pair seemed to have a lot in common and Marlene reminded Rosaleé of Georgine. If the two girls met she knew they'd get on like a house on fire.

"I saw your cover on witch's weekly, it was fucking gorgeous"

"Well what can I say, I'm a natural" Rosaleé joked, kicking her shoes off and laying back on her bed.

"Evidently" Marlene snorted as she looked at Rosa spread on her bed unflatteringly.

"I've seen your brother. He's hot. And talented. The perfect package"

"Runs in the family" Rosa grinned

"Shut the fuck up. I've had enough of you already. Get lost Baguette"

"Really? Baguette?"

"Yep"

Rosaleé just looked at her as if to say what the fuck.

"Erm anyways" Alice, a sweet girl with dark hair interrupted. "Have you got you're eye on any boys so far?" She asked

"I don't think boys are Rosaleés main priority at the moment" Lily said as she folded her uniform. "We've got newts this year and it's very inportant that we-"

"Oh come off it Lils" Mary interrupted

"Yeah, we all know you fancy a piece of Potter" Marlene added causing a glare to be shot her way by the redhead. " so have you?" Marlene continued, moving her eyes to Rosaleé.

"Not really. Sirius seems like a good snog though" she shrugged. "Not really my type though"

"Sirius is everyone's type" Mary said

Rosaleé only shrugged

"Rosaleés like the female version of Sirius. It's actually quite terrifying" Alice laughed.

"Nah. I've got better hair"

Rosa really enjoyed laughing and talking with the girls long into the night, they reminded her so much of the girls she'd left at home and knew that's she'd miss them terrible. Deciding that she'd write to them soon she drifted off to sleep soundly.

Meanwhile in the Boys dormitory.

"What do you lads think of Rosaleé then?" James asked as he flopped down onto his mattress.

"She's fit" Sirius laughed causing James to roll his eyes

"Apart from that" he replied

"I really like her, she nice" Peter squeaked.

"Course you'd say that! You got a kiss from her" Sirius exclaimed

"Don't be bitter padfoot" Remus laughed

"What do you think of her Moony?"

Remus thought back to the pretty girl he'd recently met. He thought about her long blond hair, ablaze in the autumn sun, her lips painted with red lipstick that left a faint mark on Peters cheek and her smudged eye makeup that somehow highlighted the colour of her eyes. He couldn't help but have to agree with Sirius' quick comment. The girl seemed to hold herself with confidence, as she was sure of her beauty. He admired the way she had treat Peter so far as the small boy would never really be included properly in the boys fun and games and would often be unknowingly forgotten. He knew the girl was trouble, but wasn't he already best mates with trouble?

"Yeah, she seems nice"
