1. Rain

I will say it out loud,

I will scream again and again,

But I really nead some rain,

To drain dry from this pain.

Right from the start,

Where the stupid heart fell,

No one could have imagined,

No one could foretell,

Where this journey was leading us,

Where the wind spoke of the slain,

And why the skies were crying,

Singing the song of their bane.

And I wait here in the middle,

Trying not to remember you again,

But I really need some rain,

To drain dry from this pain.

While you sit by the window,

Trying to recall your past,

I stand here trapped in a limbo,

Like in the home of an outcast.

And when the birds remember our song,

And the trees bear fruit again,

I will be waiting for you in the rain,

Still drained dry from the pain.
