Chapter 8

As the days passed by Draco tried to get Y/N to talk to him, she always ignored his existence. The wedding was getting close and he wanted to find another way to cancel his wedding by begging his mother to sort the situation another way but she refused. Draco checked on the dragon to see what was happening to Y/N's village, he took note of the new missing children vanished from the place.

Y/N sat against the wall as she began to think about everything that happened to her. The king found out about her relationship with the prince, Astoria threatened her to harm her sister, she broke things off with Draco, and now he is getting married. She covered her face with her hands as she let out a sigh. There was a bang against the bars as she looked up to see a girl she was holding a tray full of food, the girl slid the tray on the floor as Y/N carefully picked it up.

"Sorry I didn't introduce myself I'm Pansy Parkinson," Pansy said. Y/N nodded as she took a bite of her food as Pansy sat down. "What's your name?"

"Y/N Y/L/N." She replied as she took another bite of her food.

"May I ask why you are in here? What did you do?" Pansy asked as Y/N sighed.

"The king found out about I was in a romantic relationship with the prince and the king sent me here." She said as Pansy gasped and put her hand over her mouth.

"You and Prince Draco were in a sorta relationship?" She asked as Y/N nodded. "But isn't he suppose to marry Princess Astoria Greengrass?" Y/N nodded again. She guessed she could tell Pansy what was going on.

"He doesn't love her. He is marrying her so he could save the kingdom from the Greengrass, Draco told me how he felt and I guess we both fell in love but I shouldn't have fallen in love with him now look where I am." Y/N sighed as Pansy nodded.

"Draco has been upset these past few days he began to write letters about you but he kept it to himself," Pansy said as she took out a piece of paper and handed it to Y/N. She unfolded the piece of paper as she read the writing;

I always knew you were the one for me.

No, it is not because you connect with me on a deeper level than others. The truth is, I have shared only had a few connections with others in the past. But with you, I feel complete.

I have peace and inexplicable joy. I swear by the breath in me that I will never give you up for any reason because that would be the end of me. Even after death, I believe we will be connected eternally. I love you forever, and that is the only thing that matters.

Y/N smiled at the letter and looked at Pansy. "Pansy, I need a huge favor from you." Pansy nodded.

"What is it?" Pansy asked.

"Get me a piece of paper and a pencil," Y/N said as Pansy nodded and left the cellar. Y/N waited for Pansy to return, a few minutes later Pansy returned with the things Y/N asked.

"Here you go." She handed the items to Y/N as she took them from her. "What are you gonna do?" Y/N ignored Pansy as she wrote something on the piece of paper then she folded the paper in half and handed it back to Pansy.

"Give this to Draco. Make sure no one sees you with this letter and if someone questions you about the letter, make something up." Y/N inform as Pansy took the letter from Y/N. Pansy nodded and got up, leaving the cellar. She went to find Draco. She was stopped by one of Lucius's guards.

"Oi! Where are you going?" The guy asked as he eyed Pansy carefully. Pansy froze she had to think of something.

"I want to visit Draco. I haven't seen him in a while." Pansy said as the man continue to eye her. He noticed the note in her hands.

"What is the letter you have there?" The guy asked as he tried to snatch the letter from Pansy. She hid the letter from him.

"You shouldn't invade someone's privacy. This letter is from my mother, the king wouldn't like to hear that one of his guards tried to invade someone's privacy. Now if you excuse me I'm gonna see Prince Draco." Pansy walked away from the man as he stood there. Pansy found Draco's room and opened the door, she saw Draco on his bed staring at the ceiling. She closed the door behind her causing Draco to look up.

"Oh, it's just you. What do you want?" He asked as he laid back on his bed. Pansy rolled her eyes.

"Nice to see you too Draco." She muttered as she held up the folded paper. "This is for you." She placed the letter on his chest as he sat up and unfolded the letter and began reading;

Dear Draco,

I know you must be mad at me when I broke things off with you but I had no choice. Your father and Astoria found out about us, your father ordered to lock me up somewhere here. Astoria threatened to end things with you or she would hurt the people I love the most, starting with my sister. Please look after my sister since she is the only thing I have left. I still love you and I never stopped loving you but right now it's too risky, I'm not sure how the plans are gonna go? You have to be careful.

Love,

Y/N.

Draco looked at Pansy as he finished reading the letter. "Take me to Y/N." He said, getting out of bed. Pansy watched as Draco rummaged his room.

"Draco it's still risky. What if your father or fiance find you near Y/N." Pansy wondered as Draco looked at his friend as he grabbed her hand.

"I don't care if my father finds me with Y/N. Take me with her!" Draco insisted as Pansy sighed and nodded. Pansy led Draco to the cellar. He saw Y/N sitting against the wall as she looked down. "Y/N."

Y/N looked up to see Draco. She smiled softly. "Draco, what are you doing here?" She walked towards him as he cupped her cheeks.

"I read your letter. I just had to see you, how are you feeling? I'll find a way to get you out." Draco assured as Y/N stared into his eyes and sighed.

"I'm alright but this is too risky Dray. We still need to continue with the plan." She said as tears stream down her face. Draco sighed.

"I visited your village and took note of the new cases of missing children." Y/N gasped as she covered her mouth. "I don't know where the missing children are but I have this feeling that all these missing children are with the Greengrass."

"Are you sure? How do you know these missing children are with the Greengrass?"She asked.

"Because I overheard my father talking to her father that children are working for the Greengrass. My father is sending me with the Greengrass, he says so I can see their place but I will find a way to have these kids escape from them." Draco said as Y/N looked at him with a hopeful look in her eyes.

"Since I can't help you with the plan you should let Pansy help as well," Y/N suggested as Draco nodded.

"The more help we get, the better." He said with a smile. Y/N and Draco explained to Pansy about their plan. Pansy agreed with the plan.

"Pansy I know that Astoria would ask you to design her dress so you will accept it and find information about the missing children," Y/N said as Pansy nodded. "Draco you will spend all your time with your father and Astoria's father and try to find information about the kingdom or the dragon." Draco nodded as the three of them planned everything out.

"I can find more people to be a part of this plan. I already have some people in mind to help us out." Pansy said as Draco and Y/N looked at her.

"Who?" The two of them asked as Pansy smiled.

"Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott and Mattheo Riddle."
