this is my first time writing a chapter on my laptop. And i'm not used to it, so if i get spelling wrong, in advance I'm sorry;)

A week after the last chapter----- December 13 (im just making up a birthday)

Jane's POV- ( Saturday at 3 AM ) day before her birthday.

I was awoken by a tap on my window. I slowly got out of bed, and walked to my window to check through the curtains. I see a small figure, not Mikes almost like Will's? I open the window and bring him inside.

"Will? What are you doing here? Its almost three AM." I say reaching over to turn on my lamp. I turn and see Will with bloodshot eyes, like he's been crying.

"Will? Are you okay? What's wrong?!" I ask pulling him in for a hug. "I need to talk to you. I-I don't know who else to t-talk to." He says sobbing.

"Okay.. what is it?" I ask putting my hand on his shoulder. "Please, don't hate me. Or look at me differently." He says looking down.

"Will, I would never." I say looking him in the eye. "I- I think I'm- I think I'm gay." He says looking down. "Please don't tell the others! I'm sorry."

"Will?" "Hm?" "Don't apologize, it's okay. I don't look at you differently at all! I love you and you're like my brother. Besides I've always wanted a gbf!" I say pulling him in for a tight hug.

"Really? Thank you so much. I feel so much better." He says smiling with tears of joy. "Of course. Who is it that's making you feel this way?"

"This kid in my science class. His names Eddie Kaspbrak." He says fiddling with his fingers. "Awww, that's sweet! Have you told him?"

"Noooo! You're the only one I've told." He says with is eyes widening. "No, I understand. But what if I invited him to my birthday party tomorrow!" I say clapping my hands happily.

"I don't know Jane." Will says looking unsure. "Oh come on! It'll be fun! And y'all can hang out. Besides I heard he's like bi I think. Maybe he likes you too." I say smiling.

"Ohhh, alright." He says smiling. I nod happily as I pull Will into a tight hug. 

"Thank you Jane, it really means a lot, I knew I could come to you." Will says hugging me back. "Oh, and uh happy birthday." He says smiling as we pull away.

"Thank you." "Well, I should probably get going, it's late and tomorrow is your big day!" Will says smiling as he walks back to the window.

"See ya later Jane." He says climbing down the tree. I wave happily, close my window, and go back in bed to sleep. Wow I'm seventeen.

I woke up at ten, to my parents barging into my door. "Happy birthday!" They both yell in unison holding a cupcake and balloons.

"Thank you." I say smiling grabbing the balloons and cupcake. "I'm cooking you a great big breakfast, and you have to wait to get your presents until the party!" My mom says happily.

"Wow. You're already seventeen. My baby is seventeen!" My dad says. "You're growing up too fast. Before we know it you'll be walking down the aisle marrying Mike." My mom says putting a hand on her heart.

"Hey hey hey, that's too far in the future. Anyway, happy birthday sweetie, get ready while we cook." My dad hopper says walking back. "We love you!" My mom says walking back down stairs.

I roll my eyes playfully, as I get up to take a shower. The memories from last night flooding in my head. Wow, my best friend is gay, and he told me first. I'm so happy he's not ashamed. I love him.

After I take a quick shower, I open my phone to see messages from everyone.

Group message- THE PARTY❤️

HOE- happy birthday hoe! I love you, ha I said it first! Ily❤️

Handsome💕- no, you woke up earlier than us thats not fair! Anyway, Happy birthday beautiful! I love you and can't wait to see you❣️😘

Pudding lover💩- Happy birthday Jane! Can't wait for the party today! Will there be pudding?

Lucassss🔥- Happy birthday Jane! You're older than Will and Max! Congrats b day girl!🤟🏻

Brotha from anotha motha- Happy birthday Jane! I need to talk to you later! Love you!

Me- Thank you guys!❤️ I love y'all! Yes there will be plenty of pudding, and okay Will, i'll talk to you before the party. Love y'all❤️

After I text the group chat, I walk over to my closet to pick out my outfit.  I decide to wear a black blouse, with ripped jeans, brown ankle high boots, and a cardigan. I also wore some jewelry with it as well.

After I got dressed, I walked over to my vanity. I blos dried my shoulder length the hair, and put it up in a half up half down bun.   Like this but but not exactly the color.

After I did my hair, I decided to wear light makeup. I wore concealer, highlighter, brown/ gold eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss.

When I finished getting ready, I walked downstairs for breakfast. "You're right on time! I made some waffles, with sausage and bacon!" My mom says setting a plate down on the table.

"Thanks, this looks delicious!" I say smiling. "Anything for the birthday girl." My mom says smiling. "Oh yeah, after breakfast, me and your dad have a surprise for you."

"Okay." I say with my mouth stuffed with waffles. After I finish my breakfast and orange juice, my mom and dad blindfolded me and walked me outside.

"What's going on?" I ask as they lead me down the porch steps. "Hold on, trust me you're going to love it!" My mom says smiling as she lets me go.

"Okay, take it off." I slowly take it off, and once I see the sight I gasp. "Happy birthday!" Mike says as he's standing next to something I've wanted for a long time.

"OH MY GOD! IS THIS MY CAR?!" I ask running over to it. It's a 2017 white Range Rover. (Pretend it has a bow on it or whatever.)

"We got you a new car, since you've been talking about wanting a Range Rover for so long!" My dad says smiling. "Yeah, now we're matching!" Mike says wrapping his arms around me.

"Thank you Thank You Thank you!" I say jumping up and down squealing. "What about my old car?" I ask admiring my new one. "You can sell it or give it away." My mom says shrugging.

I nod, as I hug both of my parents in a big hug. "I love it. Thank you so much!" I say smiling. "You're welcome sweetie. You deserve it."

After I thanked my parents and drove around a little bit with Finn. When we got back, I noticed Max and the guys were here, so I quickly got out and came inside.

I hugged everyone and thanked them for coming. "We have gifts!" Dustin says as everyone holds their gift bags. "Y'all can go put them over there." My mom says pointing to the table.

After a few minutes, Will dragged me to the bathroom. "Jane, I'm freaking out. Eddie will be here any minute, and I don't know what to do!" Will says breathing heavily.

"Will, don't freak out okay? It'll be fine. I'll be your wing woman." I say shoulder bumping him. "Yeah. Okay. Totally...."

"Come on, enjoy the party! Live a little." I say turning the door knob.

"Wait! Can we just stay in here for a little. I need to calm down." Will says stopping me. I nod slowly, and sit down.

Mikes POV-

Will and Jane just went inside the bathroom. They've been in there for a while.

Is something going on that I don't know about? "Lucas, is there something going on with Will?" "I don't know. He's been weird lately." Lucas says devouring a cupcake.

I nod, and go to talk to Janes parents. After a while, Jane and Will finally come outside. I quickly rush over to Jane. "Hey, do you wanna go upstairs really quick?" She nods slowly, as I lead her upstairs.

"What's going on?" I ask closing the bedroom door. "What are you talking about?" "I saw you go in the bathroom with Will. Is something wrong?" I ask sitting down.

"What? No.. nothings wrong." She says looking away. "Jane. Stop lying, I know that look." "I- I can't say!" She says still looking away.

"Why can't you tell me? I thought we were supposed to trust each other." I say crossing my arms. "I cant tell you!" She says standing up.

"Oh but you can tell Will?! Fine then, go have fun keeping secrets from me with Will!" I say walking out and slamming the door.

Janes POV-

This is officially the worst birthday ever. Mike thinks I'm keeping secrets from him, and he thinks something is going on with Will.

I sit down with tears threatening to spill out of my eyes. Then, the tears come. I rest my head in my hands.

"Knock knock." Max says walking in. "Hey. I saw Mike walk outside in the backyard all upset. I figured somethings going on." Max says sitting down next to me.

"H-he thinks I'm k-keeping something from h-him." I say sobbing. "It's not even about me! It's about Will."

"Did you tell him that?" She asks resting her hand on my shoulder. "No. He never gave me a chance to. He y- yelled and l-left."

"That douche. I'll get Lucas to talk to him. But I saw Will talking to Eddie. He said he needs you." Max says grabbing my hand. "Come on! Enjoy your birthday!" Max says leading me back downstairs.

I go back in the living room, and see Will and Eddie flirting. I smile at the sight, and walk over. "Hey, you said you needed me?" I ask Will.

"Yeah. I need your help talking to everyone. I was gonna spread the news that me and Eddie are together!" Will says taking a sip of his soda.

"Have you been crying?" "Yeah, I'm fine now. Don't worry about me." I say wiping my eyes.

He nods slowly looking unsure. "Well, let's go spread the news!" I say bringing everyone in the living room. My parents went to pick up the cake.

As everyone crowds around, I see Mike leaning against the wall, looking upset. All I want to do is rush over to him and embrace him in a tight hug.

"Alright. Will has something to tell everyone." I say smiling. Dustin nods eating his chocolate pudding, along with everyone else. Mike rolls his eyes scoffing.

I sit back down trying to get a look at Mike. "Alright! Well, everyone. I think y'all should know something. Jane has helped me with something that I've been too embarrassed to tell y'all. But with Janes help, I can finally tell y'all. I'm gay." Will says slightly smiling.

Everyone cheers smiling and hugging Will. Mike just looked shocked, and guilty at the same time. He runs off upstairs.

"I'm gonna go really quick." I whisper to Will as I go upstairs. I walk in my room, and see Mike with his head in his hands sniffling.

"Jane! I'm so sorry, I ruined everything and I should've trusted you, and I didn't know what to do so I stormed off. I shouldn't have done that, I'm sorry and I love you and please forgive me!" Mike says rushing to me embracing me in a hug.

"Why don't you trust me?" I ask stepping back. "I do, I just got upset." "Doesn't seem like it." I say looking down. "I do, I promise. And I swear I will never do that again." He says grabbing my hands.

I nod slowly, as I accept and hug him. "I love you." I say resting my head in his chest. "I love you more." He says resting his head on mine.

My mom slowly knocks on the door. "Presents!" She says pulling us downstairs.

I open them one by one. First goes Max's present. I open it up, and see a 30 dollar Starbucks gift card, a lot of candy, and and a big load of bath and body works lotions and perfumes.

"Oh my, thank you Max! I love it." I say smiling. She nods happily, urging me to open the next one. The next one is from Lucas.

I open it up, and look inside the box. Inside was a brand new Apple Watch, and a gift card to smoothie king. "Lucas thank you! I just broke my Apple Watch the other day!" I say setting my presents down. "Your welcome!" He says smiling.

Next goes will, in the bag, was a new pair of rose gold beats headphones, and a gift card to In & out. "My favorite food place! And I love the headphones! Thank you will." "Your very welcome b day girl!"

Next was Dustin, the box, was regular sized, and kind of heavy. I open it up, and see a brand new pair of low lip Black vans, and another pair of maroon checkered ones. "I've been meaning to get some new vans! Thank you Dustin." I say hugging him. "My pleasure, it was the least I could do for you getting me a life time supply of pudding!"

Last, was Mike. It was a big bag, that felt heavy. I look at him smiling, as I look inside slowly. First, I pulled out a bunch of clothes from PINK and Victoria secret. And a gift card to forever 21.

Inside the bag, was a small box, I opened it up, and saw a necklace. It was gold, and it said "Mike+Jane" the back had our date we started dating. "Sep. 14, 2017"

I let a single tear roll down my cheek, as I admired the necklace. "I love it, thank you." I say embracing him in a tight hug. "Happy birthday Plain Jane." He says kissing my head.

"SHIP!" Dustin and Max yell at the same time. Everyone else nods smiling. I roll my eyes playfully, as we all get up and enjoy the party.

We ate, watched movies, played games, and drove around in my new car! It was an amazing birthday., and I couldn't had wished for a better one.

At ten, it was time for everyone except for Max to go. I said goodbye, one by one, until I reached Mike. He gave me a tight hug, and kissed me on the cheek. "I love you, I'll see you tomorrow." Mike says walking to his car.

I wave smiling, as he drives off. Max comes up behind me smiling. "How did you like your birthday?" She asks grabbing is some waters from the fridge.

"It was good. But it's about to get even better. Come on." I say leading her outside. "Put this on." I say handing her a blindfold. She puts it on eagerly, as we walk down the porch.

"So, I know that you have been looking for a car, but you just can't seem to find one that clicks, so I made your job a whole lot easier!" I say taking off her blindfold.

She gasps smiling. "I know how much you loved my old car, so I decided to give it to you!" I say smiling. "AM I DREAMING?! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love you!" She says jumping up and down.

"I can't believe this. I'm about to faint!" "Your welcome. Thank you for being such an amazing friend. I love you so much!" I say tossing her the keys.

"Do you wanna drive around in you're new car!" I say running to the passengers side. She nods happily, as she runs to the drivers seat. We both drive around listening to music, and talking about how good today was.

Today was a great day!
