CHAPTER 4: I had no idea...

"Leave him alone!"

Delilah got to her feet, glaring at Chica.

"I said, leave him alone!" Chica repeated, glaring back.

Delilah's mouth spread into a huge, crazy grin.

"You think you scare me?" She giggled, "Well, you don't"

"I'm not trying to!" Chica yelled.

Delilah smiled, her crazy yet sickly sweet smile, "Foxy doesn't love you and he never will."

Chica growled, "You expect me to believe that?"

"You better. Its not like you can spend your whole life, deluding yourself, sweetie."

"Shut up! Just shut up!" Chica screamed.

"Oh? Is someone angry?"

"Of course I'm angry!" Chica yelled

"Delilah, stop this," Foxy said, getting to his feet, he

Foxy looked at Chica, "Ye too, Chica."

"No, I won't!" She screeched, clenching her fists.

More sternly this time, Foxy repeated himself, "Chica stop ye fighting. It may be fun but fighting isn't going to get ye anywhere."

Delilah grinned, "He's only saying that, sweetie, because he's already chosen between us."

Chica unclenched her fist, still angry but not wanting to be hated by the person she loved. Opening his mouth to say something else, Foxy never did get the chance to answer. Delilah had tackled Chica, slamming her to the ground. She grinned as she began to send punches, flying down on top of the yellow chicken. Chica managed to catch one of her fists but was unable to catch the other one due to her other arm being pinned down.

Delilah laughed, a crazy maniacal laugh and readied her arm to punch Chica again. A deep, guttural growl echoed and a hook came blazing down, throwing Delilah away from Chica. Foxy glared at Delilah, one of hatred and disgust before kicking her, steady and hard. A cry of pain escaped Delilah's lips but Foxy did not stop there.

Chica stood back, checking for anything misplaced, "I think I'm good. Key word 'Think'"

Paying no attention to Chica, Foxy grabbed Delilah, throwing her into the wall. She fell, snarling and coughing up blood. He stomped over, grabbed Delilah again, his hook digging into her flesh.

"Hurt Chica ever again," he said coldly, his voice devoid of any emotion, "And I will not hesitate to kill ye."

Holy shit... Chica thought, I know he's a pirate but... Wow...

Chica just stood there, slightly scared of what she had witnessed. She had no idea he could be like that. Foxy, a nasty growl in his throat, threw Delilah through the wall. On impact, she lost consciousness, slipping into a deep, deep sleep.

"Delilah is now Goldie..." Chica mumbled to herself.

Dusting himself off, Foxy walked over to Chica, all signs of the previous aggression gone.

"Are ye okay?" He asked, his tone soft, caring.

Chica nodded, "Yeah"

"She didn't hurt ye?"

"Not that I can see," Chica replied.

"I'm sorry ye... Had to... Ye know... Witness that..." Foxy mumbled, a look of shame filling his golden orbs.

"It's fine, it was kinda cool! I've never seen that side of you before," She giggled but then, whispered to herself, "I'm sorta glad I did..."

Foxy smiled softly, a smile that was returned by Chica. Leaning in close, he hugged her. Chica giggled, hugging back.

She's so beautiful... Foxy thought, a small blush creeping across his face. Chica began to blush as well. Breaking the hug, Chica kissed Foxy, not on the cheek but... On the lips...
