Peter and I make our way back to the lab. Lots of the people were beginning to leave, so Peter and I went to go look for Kathleen. She seemed a tad bit drunk.

"Hey Kathleen, let's go home. I can drive us." I stated.

"Actually, Y/n. This is Thomas. He's gonna be taking me home." Kathleen slurred. Thomas was weirdly gripping Kathleen.

"It's nice to meet you, Y/n." He kisses my hand. I pull it back and look at them oddly. Man, Kathleen always goes for the weird guys.

"Actually, I think it would be better if Kathleen came with us." I told Thomas. Thomas started to look annoyed.

"Look, she wants to go with me. So we should just leave it at that." Thomas argued back.

"We said we'll take care of it. You can go home now." Peter butts in.

"Who are you?" Thomas questioned.

"Doesn't matter. Don't kiss Y/n's hand like that. They don't appreciate it." Peter demands, giving Thomas a sarcastic smile.

"You don't have the authority to be talking to me like that." Thomas reacted.

"Look Mr. Thomas, we don't mean to cause trouble. We just wanna bring our friend back home, safely." I explained. Peter grabs Kathleen's hand and walks her to her car.

"Whatever, it was good seeing you beautiful." Thomas complimented. Never have I ever wanted to barf from a compliment til now.

"That made me want to vomit if I'm being real." I retorted back.

"Excuse me?" Thomas sounded shock.

"Yeah. I think you heard me right the first time." I reminded.

"Who's your supervisor, I'd like to have a word with him? I could end your career." Thomas
threatened.

"He's a man of proof. The cameras you see, aren't audible." I smiled and walked off. Time to go home and act like this never happened. As I walk away, I feel a force onto my shoulder. Thomas drags me and turns me around.

Peter grabs Thomas's arm and takes his arm off of me. Peter wraps his arm around me and we walk to the car with no complications.

"Are you okay?" Peter asks.

"I'm fine. It didn't hurt at all. Although I wanna wash my hand with bleach." I jokingly said.

"Alright, let's get to Kathleen's house."

~At Kathleen's house~
"Kathleen, Kathleen. Get up let's go. Jesus christ!" Peter and I dragged her out the car like some murder scheme. We unlocked the door to her house with the car keys. Okay, so which door leads to her room. Kathleen chills on the couch and sleeps peacefully like a baby.

"Do you think, we should leave her here?" I asked Peter. We stood their like idiots.

"What's the worst that could happen if we did?" He questioned.

"She could fall off." I replied.

"Eh, I get the feeling she'll be just fine." Peter states.

"Goodnight Kathleen." I murmured.

~Outside~

"I think we're gonna have to walk home." I replied.

"Kathleen loves her car with her life, and I think she'd freak out if it went missing." I added in.

"Alright then." Peter complies. I take off my heals and we walk.

"What are you doing?" Peter asks.

"My leg hurts, I don't think I can walk like this." I explained.

"What do you step on a needle? or something?" Peter questions.

"I'll be okay." I reassured him.

"Piggyback ride?" He insists.

"I don't think you'd want to." I laughed.

"It's fine, come on." I hope onto his back and we big walking.

"Do you feel that?" I asked him.

"The rain?" He guesses.

"Yeah, it always rains when we're together." I realized.

"I like the rain."

"Me too."

~Few minutes later~

"Hey Peter, I think I can walk now." I hop off and out on my heels again.

"Okay." He smiles and we began walking. He holds my cold hands.

"I figured they'd be cold." He explains holding my hands.

"You always find a way to make me blush." I gently laughed.

"It's always the simplicity, that I like about you." Peter compliments.

I grab onto his arm, and he looks at me.

"I have the urge to do something right now."

"Do it?" I replied.

Peter immediately pushes me to a wall and tilts my chin up. He roughly kisses me and brings me into another one.

"I've been dreading this." He whispers in between kisses. His hand gently holding onto my cheek. He then lets go of me.

"You have lipstick on your lips." I laughed. I attempt to wipe it off with my finger but it just smeared.

"Oopsie, I smeared it." I laughed.

"Maybe let's just leave it that way." He laughs it off and continue to walk.

"Didn't know you were so romantic?" I sarcastically said.

"You enjoyed it." He contains his laughter.

"Oh shush, you're full of nonsense." I jokingly retorted.

"Come on, isn't your house like few blocks from here." Peter asked. Wait a minute.

"How do you know that?" I questioned him.

"I recognized this neighborhood."

"I've been here. Haven't I? You invited me over around 12 AM because you felt unsafe." He adds in.

"You remembered another thing!" I excitedly yelled.

"Yeah, but I don't think I have to remember anything more to like you again."
