『 ❝CALM BEFORE THE STORM❞ 』

"Dayum, what took her so long in the principal's office? My stomach is hungry right now." Adri complained while patting her empty stomach.

"She's prolly beating up the parents, who knows?" Ardi said in amusement while shrugged his shoulders.

"She better do it quickly. I wanna eat right now!" Adri whined.

"Oi, I'm here. Talking behind my back, weren't you guys?" Bas smirked as she arrived at the table. Niq and Dar walked passed them and went towards their table.

"How was it?" Bat asked her.

"What happened? Did they file a sue or what?" Wazien asked.

"Well, I gave them a choice to sue me for assaulting their children just because all of them looked pitiful when they realized the ones in the wrong were their own children." Bas explained while sitting down.

"Then, what's their answer?" Bat asked.

"They don't wanna sue me at last. Erwin and Levi were quite shocked to hear that though."

"Ehh? The two of them were here?" Azib asked in a surprise tone.

Erwin and Levi were in the First Division, who were working under the police. That was why The Royal always get away with their crimes.

"Coincidentally, yes." Bas said.

"Well, now that everything's settle, let's go to the usual place!" Adri said enthusiastically as she got up from her seat.

"Yeah, man. Let's go. My stomach's rumbling right now." Na said while rubbing her belly.

"Me too. That meeting or whatever you called it was tiring too. One of the parents almost slap me, you know!" Bas said while standing up.

"What the fuck?! How dare they! Their kids were the ones started it first and they decided to slap you? Ridiculous!" Adri exclaimed, getting up as well.

Everyone else started to stand up too and moved towards their parked cars, one which Ardi drive legally and another which Muaz drive illegally, while still continuing the conversation.

"I mean, she almost killed their children. How can they not react to that? They're not gonna simply stand back and not do anything when you literally hospitalized their kids. Some were still unconscious, especially that girl." Wazien said and Bas snickered.

"If they're some random thugs, they've been dead a long time, bro. Tch, they were asking for it. Vandalizing my bike like it's a toilet wall. It's the most precious thing to me. Fucking bitch ass kids who only know how to act like a literal bunch of piece of shit. Because of them, my W800 cannot be repaired. I made sure they learn their lesson. Huh, I'd be more happy if they're traumatized." She said and cursed, and smirked at the end.

It was not like beating the boys and Sandra half dead would bring back her bike alive, and she knew that. She just wanted them to know what they get for doing that to her bike and to teach them a lesson, as well as setting them as an example of why you should not trying to fuck with the seniors or anyone in general.

"Hm, they deserved that honestly. You don't even know who they are and suddenly they're attacking you? Fucking bastards, bro." Bat agreed with Bas before getting in Ardi's car.

Bas hoped on her newly bought the latest and customized modern classic bike, Kawasaki W800 2021, and wore her black helmet. The colour was black with a few tiny red stripes on it and the word "天" in red was painted on the fuel tank. When she started the engine and twisted the grip, making the engine roared loudly, grabbing the attention of students that were present at the CT at that time, which she could not even care less.

She knew riding the new one would not be the same as the previous one, Kawasaki W800 2016, despite of it being almost similar to the latest model. The only difference between the two was that the 2016 one was given by her father, which hold a really huge and significant value for her. Hence, the feeling of specialness when riding the new one was not really the same and she was upset about it. She still love the new one though.

When their car drove off, Bas followed from behind.

"Wahh, that was bussing!" Adri said in relief.

They had just finished eating and exited the restaurant. The restaurant was facing a river and the area was called The Riverside. There were few restaurants, cafes and shops as well.

"That restaurant never disappoint." Na said, agreeing with Adri.

"I kind wanna eat desserts now. Let's go to that cafe!" Bas suggested excitedly as she saw the cafe were selling chocolates, cakes, mousse and anything related to chocolate.

"Bro, didn't you eat mochi just now?" Wazien asked her while chuckling.

"Bro, I have many rooms for other desserts, okay? Now, let's go!" Bas walked ahead of the others.

"Wait!" Adri yelled before following her, Wazien too.

Azib, Muaz and Ardi were already walking towards a supermarket few meters away from the cafe to buy their snacks. It was only left with Bat and Na.

"How about you, Na? You ain't following them?" Bat asked her, she shook her head.

"Nah, I'm good but Imma go to the restroom real quick." Na said before walking away.

Now, it was only Bat. She turned around and leaned on the railings. She enjoyed the view in silence. The weather was windy and the sky was a bit cloudy. It was perfect. The weather was relaxing that it made her feel sleepy.

But then her tranquility was disrupted by a voice next to her.

"The weather is nice, isn't it?" A guy said. Bat was startled.

"How did I not hear his footsteps? Or even feeling his presence? Most importantly, who the fuck is this guy?" She thought in her mind.

The guy was backwardly leaning on the railings and hooking both arms on it while looking at the sky. He was tall and looked like he was in his 20s, late 20s perhaps and he has the same hair type as Bat and Ardi, black natural curls.

"Who are you?" Bat asked but more like a demand.

The guy just smiled and ignored her question. Bat looked at the guy and felt annoyed already.

"Are you deaf? I asked you a question." Bat said in a strict tone while turning her body towards him. The guy smirked.

"You know what they always say? It's calm before the storm." He grinned sinisterly. This raised more confusion to Bat.

"What do you mean?" She asked, tilting her head a bit.

"Just saying." He shrugged. "You don't know when the storm hit. Better prepare an umbrella before getting soaked by the rain, no?" He smirked before standing up right.

"See you soon." He smirked at Bat before walking away towards a white-haired guy with tanned skin who had been waiting for him in the distance and they walked away together.

"What the hell is his deal...?" Bat thought in confusion as he watched the man walked away from her.

"Who was that?" Wazien, who had just arrived in front of her along with Bas and Adri asked.

"Don't tell me that's one of the three gangs' guy!" Bas said, alerted.

"Nah, just some crazy dude, I guess." Bat said.

"Let's head back home. I'm kinda sleepy." Bat said and the other nodded.

"Ka, have you forgotten?" Bas asked while they were walking towards the supermarket. Bat looked at her in confusion before her eyes opened wide in realization.

"Oh, shit! I totally forgot about that! Ugh!!" She yelled and groaned. "I was ready to rest when we get home.." She complained.

"Guess we can't rest just yet. The Anniversary Celebration in two weeks. There's still things we haven't settled yet." Bas said while checking her phone.

"Shit, I forgot about that too." Adri and Wazien said in unison. Bat sighed.

"Bah, call everyone and let's head home. I want to settle this asap."

"Where's Na though?" Adri asked, walking behind Bat.

"She's in the toilet." Bat answered.

"Huh, she's prolly taking a shit right now." Bas joked while chuckling, making Adri and Bat laughed while Wazien just snickered.
