1 month later ...

Omniscient

"Princess," Justice groaned kissing her neck. He rubbed her stomach and carried on kissing and pushing himself up on her.

"What?" Naala mumbled still half asleep,

"You sleep?" Justice questioned moving her hair out of the way.

Naala opened her eyes and looked at the alarm clock on the nightstand which read 3:45am.

"Justice it's 3am, what do you want?" Naala said closing her eyes again.

"I want you, you've been holding out," Justice said lowly.

"I'm not in the mood for sex," Naala answered pushing his hard dick off her back.

That was very unlike Naala so he knew she was lying.

"Baby I said I'm sorry," Justice huffed rubbing her thigh.

"You hit me Justice," Naala mumbled quietly. "I told you about putting your hands on me,"

"I wasn't thinking Princess, I was angry," Justice defended. "I didn't mean to, you know I don't do that,"

"But I didn't do anything wrong," Naala teared up. "You didn't have to hit me,"

"I know baby and I'm sorry," Justice replied with a sigh. He was stressed and he really didn't mean to take it out on Naala.

"Let me make it up to you," He said hovering over her. Naala wiped her face and shook her head.

"Get off me Justice," Naala murmured when he started to kiss her neck softly. He moved down her neck and to her chest, sucking on the skin of her breasts lightly.

"You want me to stop?" He asked rubbing his dick against her center.

Naala moaned lightly but didn't object to it, making him slip into her, causing Naala's back to arch off the bed.

"I'm sorry," Justice repeated, his strokes representing his apology. He was being soft and gentle with her, to show he didn't mean to hurt her.

"Oh my God," Naala moaned loudly putting one arm around his neck. Justice lifted her legs up onto his shoulder and started to speed up.

His strokes were sending Naala into a frenzy, out of all her sexual partners, she would say Justice came in at a close second, after Dave.

"Do you forgive me?" Justice grunted looking down at her.

"Mmm," Naala nodded, she was too caught up in the moment to realise that he wasn't wearing a condom.

"Shit, you're so fucking tight," Justice cursed, which was unlike him. Naala knew that meant his peak was nearing so she did what she knew best.

Feeling her tighten herself around him, Justice's knees bucked and he released himself inside her.

Naala came right along with him, a tear falling down her face at the intense pleasure.

"Lie down," Naala said pushing him off her. Justice did what he was told and laid back on the bed, with his head propped up on the pillows.

Naala straddled his lap and held his dick in her hands, sliding down on him slowly, every inch of him filling her up.

She adjusted to his size before she started to ride him slowly, she was teasing him on purpose.

"Damn baby," Justice groaned when Naala sped up, using his torso as support.

Justice started to match her strokes making Naala slow down.

"I'm so close," Naala cried out, quite loudly that Maniya heard it from down the hall.

They came together and Naala collapsed on top of him, breathing heavily.

"I'm sorry," Justice said kissing her lightly. "I'll never do it again,"

"You make me feel safe, today I didn't feel safe," Naala mumbled still laying on top of him.

"Let me see it," He said turning her head to him. The cut under her cheek was dried up but still sore. His finger grazed it and Naala winced moving his hand.

"You can't hit me again," Naala said lowly. Justice nodded and kissed her passionately, slipping his tongue into her mouth.

"It's too good to only have twice," Justice shook his head flipping them over. Naala gasped when he slammed into her again.

"You're too deep Justice," Naala moaned loudly, pushing his chest to get him off.

"You're gonna have me baby?" Justice said in her ear. Naala didn't respond so he sped up, hitting her spot repeatedly.

"Yes," Naala moaned biting her lip. Justice smirked and continued to pump in and out of her before he released himself inside of her.

"I love you," Justice said kissing her cheek repeatedly. Naala smiled and turned her head to kiss his lips.

"Can I go to sleep now Bishop?" Naala mumbled tiredly.

"Go to sleep," Justice nodded pulling her closer. Naala closed her eyes and fell asleep almost immediately.

4 weeks later ...

"Good morning ladies," Naala mumbled aloud, fixing her hair in the mirror. "I don't even know what to say to these old ass women," She tutted.

Today was Heartland's annual woman empowerment seminar. It's led by different inspirational women but the First Lady was the one who had to host it.

"Women are what make the world work," Naala said picking up her hair brush. "Come on Naala you can't say that shit," She cursed at herself.

Her phone buzzed and she looked down silencing the call. Somehow Naleli had managed to get her new number and won't stop calling.

She brushed out her curls and stepped back, fluffing them out slightly. When she was happy with how it looked, she took her phone and left the bathroom.

Justice was laying in bed with his usual newspaper and coffee. He also had his notebook with his sermon written out.

"I heard you in there, cursing at yourself," He said not looking up from his newspaper.

"It's really hard Bae, I don't know why I can't just speak," Naala huffed straddling his lap.

"You're overthinking it. Those ladies don't care what you say, they just want to know all the gossip," Justice said putting his newspaper down.

"Do they gossip about me?" Naala frowned putting her hands on his chest.

"Never, only about your outfits," Justice laughed. "How much are those costing me?"

"Enough," Naala replied laying down on him. He kissed her neck and rubbed her back. "We're not having sex," She spoke lifting her head up.

"Why can't we?" Justice groaned his hands travelling down her body.

"Because I just did my hair and it's Sunday," Naala said with a smile.

"Not even a quickie?" He said lowly, slipping his hands into her panties.

"Mmm no," Naala moaned discreetly. "We have to leave soon, stop Justice," She said when he started rubbing her spot.

"Do you really want me to stop because she says otherwise," Justice smirked rubbing his fingers through her wetness.

"Shit," Naala moaned putting her head into his neck and breathed heavily.

"Let me stop," Justice said taking his hand out and licking his fingers.

Naala's head popped up and she frowned at him, "Really Justice?" She popped his shoulder.

"We gotta go right?" He replied with a smile. Naala tutted and got off his lap.

"You're really annoying," Naala complained going into their closet.

"You said we needed to go, so I'm just listening to you Princess," Justice laughed following her. He took his shirt off and threw it into their laundry basket.

"What colour is your tie?" Naala asked bringing out a baby blue dress.

"I was going with the black one today," Justice said pointing to his suit that was laid out on the island in the middle of the room.

"Do you like this?" Naala responded showing Justice an all black Fendi printed dress.

"Anything you wear is beautiful," He answered placing his jewellery on his wrist.

"That's not helping babe, it's either nice or not," Naala said turning to him. "Do my boobs look big to you?" She added.

"It's perfect for you and they look normal baby," Justice answered with his hands on her waist. "Pair it with the new fascinator I got you," He said holding her tight.

"Smart," Naala agreed looking at herself in the mirror, "Is your wife going to be there?"

"My ex wife," Justice said with a sigh. "You're my only wife, I don't want you to think that you're sharing anything with Carmen,"

"But she's living in my house and having my staff call her Mrs Parker. I've been respecting her because of you Justice but I'm over it now," Naala vented slipping her dress on.

The dress fit her perfectly, accentuating all her curves. She reached for her Chanel boots and walked around the island to get her jewellery out.

"I can't kick her out," Justice sighed watching her move around the closet.

"Why? Do you know what? I don't even care," Naala waved him off. "It's really not worth it."

"You can't come to church mad at me," Justice put his suit on.

"I'm not mad at you but you need to get her out of my house," Naala answered walking over to him. Justice put his hands down and let her fix his tie.

"I like when you boss me around," Justice bit his lip.

"I bet you do," Naala smirked dusting lint off his shoulder. "There you go Bishop,"

"What would I do without you?" Justice mumbled wrapping his arms around her. He leaned down and kissed her passionately.

"My lip gloss," Naala pouted looking in the mirror behind him.

"It tastes good," Justice said puckering his lips together and tasting her gloss. "Sweet just like you,"

"Justice when I want to have sex you don't," Naala laughed lightly pushing off him.

"I'ma get me some today," Justice called out to her while she walked away from him. Naala ignored him and left their room, her heeled boots clicking loudly through the empty halls.

"Good morning Ma'am," Beverley said standing up straight as Naala walked past her.

"Beverley I am ignoring you because I've told you before. I am not 60 years old, I am 30, call me Naala," She sighed.

"Naala right, I forgot," Beverley said. "Are you ready for your breakfast? I can get it served," She added putting down the mop she had in her hand.

"Yes please but make sure that witch is not on the table with me," Naala said quietly.

"I will serve Mrs Parker in her room," Beverley laughed with a small smile.

"Good, is my daughter awake?" Naala asked smoothing her dress out.

"I don't think so," Beverley shook her head. Naala heard paws running across the floor.

"Hey mommy's baby," She squealed picking up the dog Justice bought her.

The dog was an exact replica of Cabo but a girl instead.

"Let's go and see if your big sister is awake," She cooed at Koi. Beverley looked in amusement, she had never seen anyone so attached to a dog.

Naala walked down the hall to Maniya's room and knocked on the door lightly.

"Maniya what did I say about locked doors?" Naala huffed shaking the door knob.

Maniya rolled her eyes and got out of bed walking to her door to unlock it.

"Why aren't you ready?" Naala asked walking in and shaking her head and the state of the room.

"I'm not coming," Maniya grumbled getting back into her bed sluggishly.

"What's the matter angel?" Naala asked walking closer to the bed.

"Me and Damon broke up," Maniya sniffed pushing her face further into her pillow. Naala sighed and put Koi down, letting her jump onto the bed with Maniya.

"What happened this time?" Naala asked moving around the room and picking up the trash and opening her blinds.

"Apparently I'm emotionally unstable and I'm draining him," Maniya said, her shoulders started to shake so Naala knew she was crying.

"Baby, don't cry," Naala frowned putting the trash bag down. "He's not worth it," She said sitting on the side of the bed.

"But I love him mommy," Maniya sobbed into her pillow. "He's the only thing that's been keeping me going," She was struggling at home so Damon was really her escape.

"And that scares me," Naala said softly. "You shouldn't depend on a man to make you happy,"

Maniya scoffed discreetly and continued to cry. Naala stood up and lifted the comforter off her. "Come on, get up,"

"No mom, I'm not getting up," Maniya cried turning over to face Naala.

"Maniya, I know this seems like everything is over but you have to get up." Naala said wiping her tears. "For me, please?"

"It hurts," Maniya cried holding her mom's hand. Naala exhaled and blinked away her own tears, seeing her child in so much pain wasn't easy.

"I know it does," Naala said lifting her up so she could hug her. "But I'm too small to drag you out of this bed so you have to help me,"

They stayed like that for a while before Maniya sniffed and let go.

"I'll do your hair all nice and pretty and you can use any of my purses," Naala convinced her. "Then later we can have a spa day, down in the spa,"

"Just me and you today?" Maniya asked with a sigh,

"Just me and you," Naala nodded. "We haven't had a mommy daughter day in ages, please stop being sad baby it's making me sad," She pouted.

"Do we have to go to church though?" Maniya scrunched up her face.

"I have a seminar with the women, I would like you to be there," Naala said rubbing her arm. Maniya wanted to protect her mom at all costs and if going to a long ass church service would do that, then she didn't mind.

"Fine," Maniya shrugged making Naala break out into a smile.

"My pretty pretty girl," Naala smiled kissing her cheek. "Let me pick you out an outfit, do you want to match?" She asked excitedly getting up to go into Maniya's closet.

"Koi, mama is a very crazy lady," Maniya said lifting the dog up and watching Naala walk up and down Maniya's closet talking to herself.

~~

Maniya looked out of the window and tried to drone out the sound of her mom and Justice kissing in the front of the car.

She checked her phone and saw none of her messages to Damon were sending, meaning he blocked her.

After everything they had been through together, she couldn't imagine why he would leave her now.

When she told him she was actually 20, he assumed she had been lying to him the whole time when in reality, she was the one being lied to.

"The lights green," Naala said pushing Justice back slightly. He wanted to be in her skin all the time, no matter where they were.

"Niya you okay back there?" Justice asked looking in the rear view.

"I'm fine," Maniya mumbled locking her phone and putting it away.

"You don't like the new car?" Justice said sadly. He brought her a new Ferrari when she was discharged from hospital, it was a get well soon gift.

"No I love the car," Maniya answered. "I'm tired that's all," She shrugged.

"I said we could have a spa day later," Naala mentioned, "Is that okay?" She asked Justice.

"The spa in the house?" Justice asked to be sure.

"Actually, I want us to go to the one we used to go to mom," Maniya spoke up. She was tired of being in the house.

"Oh that's up on the upper east side," Naala replied, "Can we?"

"I'm not sure about that Princess," Justice shook his head,

"Justice please? For our baby?" Naala said quietly. She leaned over the console and kissed his cheek and whispered in his ear. "I'll let you do anything you like tonight,"

"You're taking Stan," Justice gave in immediately, making Maniya smile. Her mom was honestly his weakness and she was going to start using that to her advantage.

"Yay, thank you baby," Naala smiled softly. They held hands while Justice drove to the church.

Maniya fell asleep during the drive and when she woke up, her parents were kissing again.

"Oh my God," Maniya complained. "Do y'all want me to get out so you can have sex or something?"

"Maniya," Naala gasped looking at her,

"I'm sorry, it's my fault," Justice apologized. "Let's go before we're late," He said getting out of the car and opening the door for Maniya first and then Naala.

"Thank you," Naala gushed taking his hand. Maniya stood on the other side of Justice. He gave her his arm to link onto and led his girls into the church.

"Bishop!" They heard as soon as they entered the building. A small woman came scuttling over to them. Naala recognised her as the choir director.

"Gladys, good morning," Justice said politely.

"First Lady," Gladys smiled at Naala, taking in her outfit. She blinked at Naala's tight dress before turning her attention to Maniya.

"This is my daughter, Maniya," Justice introduced them.

"Good morning," Maniya said with a small smile. She didn't even want to entertain this conversation but her dad had a tight grip on her.

"You're a very beautiful young lady, you look like your mom I presume?" Gladys said her eyes fluttering over to Naala.

"She's a good mixture of us both, right Princess?" Justice said to Naala,

"Mmm," Naala nodded, "I have to go and sort out some things for the seminar," Naala added looking up at him.

"I'll come too," Maniya jumped to the chance. Justice let both of them go, not before giving Naala a light kiss on the cheek.

Maniya linked arms with her mom and followed her to her office she had at the church. Naala looked back at Justice and saw him laughing heavily while Gladys had her hand on his arm.

"Do you think he's sleeping with her?" Naala said quietly to Maniya.

"Definitely," Maniya nodded, not holding back what she thought.

Naala didn't say anything until they got into her office and the door was shut.

"That's the second woman in this church that I'm convinced he's sleeping with," She huffed taking a seat at her desk.

"So address it," Maniya commented walking around the room. "He can't have us locked in the house while he's out doing whatever he wants,"

"He's been swapping out my medication," Naala said softly. "I caught on last week when I was too energetic,"

"So you know that? Why are we still here?" Maniya asked turning to her mom.

"Because for once I'm one step ahead," Naala replied, "I have a plan but we have to be smart,"

Naala had figured it all out when her moods were fluctuating more than normal.

"So you've been faking?" Maniya said with a small smile.

"Baby I might as well be Kerry Washington because I've been performing," Naala laughed leaning back in her seat.

"Mom!" Maniya gasped hitting her shoulder. "All this time I really thought he'd broken you,"

"All the men in my life try and manipulate me but they don't know that I'm smarter than them," Naala answered clasping her hands together.

"So what's the plan?" Maniya said excitedly sitting down in front of Naala.

"I haven't told your daddy yet, he'll try and be a hero but that won't work here. I'm watched 24/7 so I have to do it in my own," Naala explained.

"That's smart," Maniya nodded. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Carry on being normal with him. You're lucky, I have to act as if I like him," Naala mumbled closing her eyes.

"Are y'all you know," Maniya trailed off not wanting to say the word.

"We're having sex," Naala nodded. "That's the only way I can keep him wrapped around my finger and it's not that bad actually," She said tilting her head to the side.

"Alright now mom," Maniya mugged in disgust. "He's not forcing you is he?"

"No, he's really gentle," Naala said quickly. "Justice isn't as bad as I thought but he's a manipulator. He cares about us but not in the right way,"

"I don't want you to get hurt or pregnant," Maniya said awkwardly.

"I'm a big girl don't worry about me," Naala said standing up. "But I have to carry on the act, which means today I'm the jealous wife," She sighed.

"Oooo you should make a scene, that would be funny," Maniya said to her.

"I should shouldn't I?" Naala laughed flipping her hair over her shoulder.

The offices were all made of glass so Naala saw Justice approaching them, another woman by his side.

"Here we go," Naala mumbled giving Maniya a look.

Justice knocked on the door and opened it, "Service is about to start, I need you," He said to Naala.

"Me and Niya were just talking," Naala said walking over to him.

"I'm Freida, it's so lovely to meet you Nicole was it?" The woman beside Justice said. Naala looked at her and then at Justice,

"It's Naala, but you can call me Governor," She said to be petty.

"My wife is the governor of New York City," Justice gushed proudly.

"Wow, I didn't know that," Freida said with wide eyes. "Me and your husband have worked together for, well it feels like forever,"

"Really? He's never mentioned you," Naala smiled falsely. "Clearly you're not that important,"

"Princess," Justice said putting his hand on the small of her back. "Freida has been part of Heartland since we started,"

"So?" Naala muttered looking up at him. "You need to go and get ready, I'll help you," She said taking his hand.

Freida was shocked, Naala had Justice in a chokehold and he couldn't even tell. Maniya stayed in her mom's office scrolling on her phone.

"Do you know where the First Lady is?" A boy said standing by the door. Maniya looked up and had to blink a few times. He was tall with chocolate brown skin. She could see his tattoos peeking through his long sleeve shirt.

"You gon' stare or tell me where she is?" He smirked, exposing his straight white teeth.

"Why are you looking for my mama?" Maniya smiled sitting up.

"Your moms?" He raised a brow, "So you Bishop's supposed daughter?" Maniya rolled her eyes and stood up.

"What's it to you?" She crossed her arms over her chest.

"Cuz the Bishop's my dad so I guess we siblings or sum'" He shrugged making Maniya's eyes go wide.

"You've got to be shitting me, all the good ones," She mumbled. The boy stared at her for a while before he burst into laughter.

"I'm just joking girl," He laughed loudly. "My daddy is a no good ass nigga, not the Bishop,"

Maniya frowned at him and then started laughing too, his laughter was contagious.

"You scared me," Maniya said once they settled down. "Still why you looking for my mama?" She asked.

"She asked me to play a song for her, I wanted to know what song," He replied, "I'm Malik by the way," He said with a smirk.

"I didn't ask," Maniya laughed. "And my mom is probably in my dad's office, I can take you,"

"Good looks," Malik nodded following behind Maniya.

"Stop staring at my ass," She said with her face still facing forward.

"Ain't nobody looking at your ass," Malik sucked his teeth, lifting his head up.

"Yeah right," Maniya chuckled waking down the hallways. They made it to Justice's office and the blinds were drawn.

"Knock then," Malik said staring at her. Maniya shook her head and shortly after Naala's moans came through the door.

"You gotta give them a moment," Maniya sighed stepping back.

"Yo," Malik laughed covering his mouth. "Can I say your mama has a sexy ass moan?"

"No you can't," Maniya snapped punching his arm.

"I was just playing. Damn," Malik mugged rubbing his arm that she hit.

"I don't think they're stopping anytime soon by the way," Maniya informed him. Malik looked to her and raised a brow.

"Whatchu wanna do while we wait?" He wriggled his eyebrows at her.

"You're starting to give me predator vibes," Maniya said seriously.

"You New Yorkers never know how to take a joke," Malik grumbled tugging at his goatee.

"Where are you from?" Maniya quizzed.

"Houston," Malik replied leaning against the wall. Maniya nodded and looked him up and down.

"You shouldn't be looking at no one like that in a church," Malik said when her eyes drifted to his bottom half.

"Oh but you can look at my ass?" Maniya retorted.

"It was on show," Malik shrugged, with a smirk.

The office door started to unlock so Maniya stepped back beside Malik to wait.

"Alright Justice damn," Naala tutted quietly when the door opened.

"Get your attitude in check Naala," Justice said with his hand on her back. The door opened properly and Justice was the first to spot them.

"Angel, you haven't gone to your seat?" He asked pulling down his cloak.

"I was showing Malik to your office, he needed to speak to mom," Maniya said. Naala who was busy fixing her lips looked up from her small mirror.

"Oh! Malik, I totally forgot," Naala exclaimed, "I see you've met my daughter," She smiled.

"Yes ma'am," Malik nodded, "Can we talk about the music?"

"Of course, let go of me," She said to Justice who still has a firm grip on her waist.

"Don't get married Malik, it will drive you crazy," Justice laughed, his voice travelling down the hall.

"Didn't plan to Bishop," Malik said bluntly. Naala gave Justice a side eye and pushed him off her.

She walked away with Malik, to discuss what she wanted for the seminar after the service.

"I know that look, don't even think about it," Justice said watching Maniya stare Malik down.

"Why can't I?" Maniya scrunched up her face. "He's cute and I'm single,"

"You're also too young, stay away from him," Justice said sternly leading her through to the church. The congregation was filling up due to worship starting in 5 minutes.

"I have to sit on the stage with you?" Maniya asked as Justice helped her up the steps.

"The first family sits on the stage, so I can keep an eye on you," Justice replied with a smile.

"Of course they do," Maniya mumbled sitting on the seat that was behind the two larger ones that she assumed were for her mom and dad.

Naala came up the steps while Justice was speaking with the choir director, again. She looked over at them and then at where he should be, in his seat.

Walking over to them, Naala planted on the fakest smile she could muster up.

"Today's worship has to be amazing with all the conversations you two have had about it," Naala gushed standing in front of Justice.

"I was just telling your husband here why your face is so familiar," Gladys said looking away from Justice and directly at Naala.

Naala raised a brow and put her hand on her hip, "I've never met you I don't think, outside of Heartland,"

"I believe you do. You're my nephew's ex wife," Gladys said happily. Naala blinked at her a few times and realised she was Dave's aunt.

"Oh wow, maybe your face isn't that memorable," Naala spoke sarcastically.

"That's enough," Justice said pulling Naala away by her hand, avoiding a scene.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" He mumbled into her ear harshly as they sat down.

"You're fucking every woman in this church," Naala snapped back. "It's embarrassing, everyone is looking at me because they know,"

"Who do you think I am?" Justice asked turning her head to him. "I am not unfaithful, I have no reason to be," He said truthfully.

"Who was the last person you had sex with?" Naala questioned.

"Before you? Joy, that's it," Justice answered, "I don't lie to you Princess, I'm not like him,"

"You're all the same," Naala waved him off. "I don't believe you and you're making me mad being this close to me," She said looking at the congregation.

"Everyone is looking at you because they know what you look like naked," Justice said harshly.

"Really Justice?" Naala mumbled. "Why would you throw that in my face, I have never —"

"That was wrong, I shouldn't have said that," Justice silently cursed himself.

"No but you meant it," Naala shook her head. "You're judging me as if you're not the one that raped me when I was 8 years old," She spat.

"That's not fair," He responded with a sigh. "I'm not that person anymore. I've said sorry for that,"

"Stand up in front of everyone and tell them you're sorry. That won't change anything Justice," Naala shrugged letting his hand go.

"I'll do that right now," Justice nodded standing up.

"Don't do —"

"Good morning Heartland!" Justice stood up from his seat and belted out, completely dismissing Naala.

"Now before we get into today's service, there's something I need to do," Justice said looking over to Naala. "I've upset my wife church, and she's not happy with me,"

Naala rolled her eyes and crossed her legs, wondering where he was going with this.

"And the bible says, Husbands love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her," Justice spoke. "That's in the book of Ephesians," There were a few mumbles and head nods in the congregation.

"I struggle with owning up to my wrongs but I wronged you baby," Justive said connecting eyes with her. "And I'm sorry,"

"So Naala can you join me up here?" Justice smiled.

"Mama you better get up," Maniya chuckled behind her.

Naala sighed and stood up, walking across the stage to him.

"I haven't been doing what the Bible says," Justice said holding her hand. "Do you forgive me Princess?"

"Right here?" Naala whispered looking around the full church.

"Right here beautiful, I'm sorry," He said into the mic. "The reason I've started service this way, is to show y'all there's no harm in saying sorry,"

"Amen!" An older woman shouted from the front seat,

"So I'm sorry Princess," Justice said to Naala. "In front of everyone, I'm saying sorry,"

"Can I go sit down now?" Naala said blankly. Justice nodded and kissed her cheek, continuing his sermon.

~~

"Therapy on a Sunday?" Naala said when Justice pulled up in front of the doctors office.

"You're not behaving like yourself," Justice replied looking over at her. He was concerned because she was acting out, and not being submissive.

"I don't want to," Naala shook her head,

"You don't have a choice Princess, I'll be right there with you," He assured her rubbing her hand.

Naala didn't trust this, it wasn't a therapist of her choice and she felt like he was trying to get into her head again.

"Okay," Naala nodded hesitantly. "You're staying with me?"

"I'm never leaving you," Justice said wiping a stray lash from her face. "Come on," He said getting out of the car.

Naala followed Justice into the doctors office and stood closely behind him.

They got in with the therapist and she didn't waste any time getting started on Naala.

"Can you tell me what this is?" The therapist asked showing Naala a piece of paper.

"My medical records," Naala frowned looking at her.

"You were admitted for a broken tailbone," The therapist pointed out, "What happened?"

"What has that got to do with anything?" Naala questioned defensively.

"I just want to know what happened," The therapist replied.

"I was drunk or high, I can't remember," Naala shrugged.

"Your husband did that to you. Not Justice, your ex husband," She said sitting forward. "How can't you remember?"

"He wouldn't do that to me," Naala said confusedly. What was worse was that she genuinely couldn't remember what happened.

"You got into a fight and he pushed you down the stairs Princess, you told me," Justice interjected holding Naala's hand.

Thoughts started to swarm Naala's head, all her memories of Darnell, Dave, Gray and Hassan all combining.

"Amir pushed me," Naala nodded at the therapist. "We got into a fight and he pushed me,"

"He hurts you constantly," Justice chimed in. He was playing on Naala's mental weakness, the fact that she doesn't have much of a leg to stand on.

"But who saved you from that? Who helped you get better?" She retorted making Naala think hard.

"Justice," Naala responded, that was what she believed it to be.

"That's right. Since you were young he's been saving you. What's your greatest achievement?" The therapist quizzed.

"My children," Naala answered without a doubt.

"Justice gave you your first child, your first big achievement," The therapist coached, just how Justice told her to.

"Yes," Naala smiled softly, "He gave me my baby," She repeated.

"Good girl," Justice smirked kissing Naala's head. She was back right where he needed her.

"Justice saved me," Naala said looking at him. "Thank you," She leaned into him.

"You're welcome Princess," Justice said wrapping his arm around her.

The rest of the therapy session was full of Naala being brainwashed, by the time she came out of the session, her hate for Dave grew tremendously.

"I have to drop off the milk I pumped," Naala announced looking out of the window.

"You don't want to spend time with them?" Justice asked with a small smile, knowing his plan had worked.

"No I don't," Naala shook her head. "I can't look at them right now,"

It was sad but Naala associated her children with Dave and now because of how she felt towards him, her children were on the same page as him.

"I'll send the milk off," Justice said to her. "What do you want to do now?"

"I'm tired, I want us to go to bed," Naala replied quietly. All the brainwashing made her tired.

"We can have a nap," Justice nodded lifting her hand up to kiss softly.

~~

Naala moved around the massive kitchen, finishing up the dinner she spent 3 hours making. She had sent the chef home for the day and decided to cook herself.

After her nap, Naala woke up with new found energy.

"It smells good in here," Maniya said coming into the kitchen. "Ooo you're making oxtails," She said standing by the stove.

"Your dad likes them," Naala answered not turning to her.

"We're back to that again," Maniya mumbled sitting at the island.

"What are you talking about?" Naala asked putting the stove on a lower heat.

"Doing everything dad likes," Maniya commented watching her mom.

"He's my husband, why wouldn't I do that?" Naala asked finally turning to Maniya.

"He got to you again," Maniya sighed putting her head down. "Mama why are we here?"

"Because Justice saved us and made me whole again," Naala replied with a small smile. Maniya groaned and rubbed her head.

"You had therapy today?" Maniya asked standing up.

"Yeah it was good," Naala nodded, "You should see her too, I'll set up an appointment,"

"No way," Maniya shook her head. Maniya was angry, she finally thought they were going to get out of there but Naala had been sucked in once more.

"I spoke to Tete this morning," Maniya commented, watching to see Naala's reaction.

"My sister?" Naala said softly, "I miss her," She sighed.

"You do? We can talk to her," Maniya said quickly. Maybe Naleli would be a better person to get through to her.

"Justice said no. She adds to my pain and belittles me," Naala spoke confidently.

"No mama she doesn't do that. Naleli loves you just like daddy does," Maniya said closer to her mom.

"Amir doesn't know what love is," Naala frowned. "Everyone I know hurts me so Justice saved me. I don't want to speak to any of them,"

"I can't do this," Maniya huffed walking away. "If this is where you want to be forever then fine but I'm leaving,"

Naala watched her leave the kitchen sadly, she didn't know what else she could do. Naala was conflicted, she knew she wasn't meant to be here but she didn't have the strength to leave.

"I want a Sunday kind of love," Justice sang entering the kitchen. He had just finished working out and seeing his wife made him happy.

"You can't sing," Naala mumbled leaning against the counter.

"What's the matter Princess?" He said standing in front of her.

"I have this weird gut feeling," Naala answered leaning into him. "Like something is wrong,"

"Nothing's wrong everything is perfect," Justice said convincingly. "Let me taste some of this," He asked looking behind her at the food.

"I made it just for you," Naala gushed taking a small plate from the side. She put the coconut rice and oxtails on it, handing it to him with a fork.

"You're amazing," Justice commented after tasting it. He ate the rest of it and placed the plate on the side. He lifted her onto the counter.

"You liked it?" Naala smiled at him. Justice nodded and kissed her passionately.

"I loved it," He said stepping in between her legs. He kissed her neck and sucked on it lightly. "Even your skin tastes good," He huffed.

Naala moved his head out of her neck, "I'm not in the mood for sex Justice,"

"Why? What did I do?" Justice asked looking her in the eyes.

"I want Amir," Naala whispered. "Everything is telling me to hate him but I don't hate him, I can't hate him," She said looking down.

"But he hurts you!" Justice shouted making her jump.

"No he doesn't," Naala cried lightly. "He loves me, you hurt me," She turned the tables.

"Have I ever hurt you? Do I lie and cheat on you?" Justice asked standing back. "Get it into your head Naala, he doesn't love you," He snapped at her.

"I want to leave," Naala sniffed jumping of the counter. "I want to go home to my family,"

"You're not leaving," Justice chuckled. "You won't even get onto the driveway before I'll have you back in here," He let her walk past him and up the stairs.

"I'm leaving," Naala shouted back at him. Maniya heard her shouting and poked her head out of her room. "Niya pack your things, we're leaving,"

"We're leaving?" Maniya smiled happily.

"Pack your things," Naala repeated speed walking to their room. She went into the closet and started throwing things into bags when she realised she didn't need any of it.

Naala heard the room door slam shut and sucked her teeth.

"Naala come out the closet," Justice said simply, sitting on the side of the bed.

"Are you going to hit me?" Naala bit her lip,

"Come out or I'm gonna drag you out," Justice snapped loudly.

Naala came out and stood far from where he was, playing with her fingers. "Please don't hit me Justice,"

"Come here," Justice said taking his rings off and placing them on the nightstand.

"You're gonna hit me," Naala teared up stepping back. Justice nodded and got up quickly, grabbing her and flinging her onto the bed.

"If you think you're leaving me, you're crazy," Justice said getting on top of her and holding her down.

"Stop," Naala cried trying to get out of his grip. "Justice please stop,"

Normally her cries and pleas would make him feel bad but today he didn't care, she was trying to leave.

"Mama?" Maniya knocked on the door loudly,

"We're busy Angel," Justice responded covering Naala's mouth.

"Where's my mom?" Maniya asked from outside the door.

"Tell her you're okay," Justice pinched her side, "Scream and I'll kill you," He reminded her. Naala nodded rapidly and he took his hand off her mouth.

"I'm here baby, I'm packing my bags," She called out, causing Justice to clench his jaw.

Maniya retreated from the door and back to her room, she didn't know her mom needed her most.

"You're not going anywhere Naala, I can't let you go again," Justice said stroking her face. He used one hand to pull down his sweats.

"No," Naala shook her head when he started to tug at her shorts. "I don't want to," She cried.

"It's mine though," Justice said softly leaning down to kiss her neck. He positioned himself in front of her,

"I'm pregnant," Naala cried loudly. "I'm pregnant Justice, so please stop,"

He paused and lifted his head up, moving back and letting her hands go.

"You're pregnant?" Justice mumbled, his eyes clearing.

"I found out last night," Naala nodded. "I was going to tell you but I —"

"Shh, you don't have to explain. I'm sorry baby," Justice sighed getting off the bed. "But now you can't go anywhere Princess," He said sadly.

Naala closed her eyes and cried softly, her life was never hers, it always belonged to somebody else.

~~

"She's still not answering?" Dave asked Naleli as they stood in the hallway.

"No and I can't do this without her," Naleli said staring at her mom through the window.

"We need a decision ma'am," The doctor said beside Naleli. "Your mother is brain dead, right now she can't breathe on her own. The life support is the only thing keeping her going,"

"Naleli you have to decide," Dave coincided beside her.

"You want me to kill my mom?" Naleli asked looking at him. " I can't do that, not without Naala," She shook her head.

"I'll give you some more time," The doctor said sympathetically.

"Let me try her," Dave said pulling his phone out. He dialled Naala's number and didn't expect an answer but when she picked up, he stood up straight.

"What do you want?" Naala said into the phone, her voice low and deflated.

"You've got to come to the hospital Naala," Dave said bluntly.

"What happened?" Naala asked, a sense of urgency in her voice. "The babies? Are my babies okay?"

"They're okay, it's not them," Dave answered, "It's your mom, Naleli's been calling you,"

"I'm coming, what hospital?" Naala replied. He could hear movement meaning she was getting dressed.

Dave gave her all the information she needed and then hung up.

"So she can answer your calls," Naleli scoffed going back into Miani's room.

On the other side of town, Naala was thinking of a way to get out of the house.

Naala took her a purse and left the room, walking down the hall quietly.

"Where are you going?" Justice asked when Naala passed his study.

"I have a meeting with a few ladies at the church," Naala lied effortlessly. Justice raised a brow and came walking towards her.

Naala stiffened up in fear, unsure of how he was going to behave.

"What are you meeting about?" Justice asked standing in front of her.

"Marriage counselling," Naala lied, "They're having a tough time in their marriages,"

"Well not everybody can be perfect like us," Justice said smugly. He put his hand over her stomach and rubbed it. "Don't stress our little one out too much,"

Naala nodded and stepped back, "I'll be back soon,"

"Are you sure you're okay Princess?" Justice asked, something was off about her but he couldn't tell.

"Morning sickness," Naala muttered clearing her throat. "I always get it,"

"Hurry back so I can take care of you," Justice said softly pulling her into a hug. He kissed her cheek and let her go.

So many thoughts were rushing through Naala's head as she got out of the house. When travelling to the church, she didn't need security so that was the perfect excuse.

Naala sped towards the hospital, hoping her mom was okay.

When she pulled up, she wasted no time finding the floor Dave said they were on.

Naleli spotted her first and stood up, rushing over to her.

"I missed you," Naala sighed hugging her tightly. Naleli breathed her in and returned the hug.

"Lala we have to say goodbye," Naleli said lowly. Naala stepped out of the hug and searched Naleli's face for answers.

"Bye to who? Where is mom?" Naala questioned hiking her purse up her shoulder.

"She's been in a coma since her accident," Naleli said. "The accident your baby father caused,"

"Don't say it like that," Naala drew her head back. "It is not by choice that I have a child with Justice,"

"But it is by choice that you've stayed with him," Naleli shook her head.

"Don't do that here," Eli said when they entered the hospital room. "Get over yourselves," He said his eyes not leaving his daughter laid on the hospital bed.

It was a private hospital so Miani's room resembled a bedroom. She was in the middle of the large bed, with several tubes connected to her.

"Mommy," Naala pouted looking over at her. "Why didn't anybody tell me?" She asked walking closer.

"You chose your place," Eli said bluntly. "You stopped being a Simmons as soon as you left with that man," He spat.

Naala ignored him and got into the bed beside her mom, her eyes filling with tears. "I'm sorry mommy," Naala said holding her hand.

"I should have been here, I should have held your hand and told you you're going to be okay," Naala cried beside her.

Naleli came back in with the doctor and blinked away her tears. She could hear Naala crying and speaking to their mom.

"You can do it now," Naleli spoke to the doctor quietly. Eli left the room, he couldn't watch his only child die.

"She won't go straight away," The doctor assured them walking over to the system.

"I'm so sorry mom," Naala cried into Miani's arms. "I don't even remember what we spoke about last, I don't know if I told you I love you,"

Naleli got into the bed on the other side of Miani and held both her hand and Naala's.

"I don't want her to go," Naala sniffed looking at Naleli.

"I know," Naleli cried softly along with her sister. "But I think she's hurting and I don't want her to hurt anymore La,"

The doctor started to switch off the machines, leaning over them to take the tubes out of her mouth. "She can hear you, so maybe tell her everything you've always wanted her to know,"

Naleli cleared her throat and looked at Miani, "I never told you how much I appreciate you mama. I was mad at you for so long for leaving me, for leaving us,"

The twins didn't get to grow up with their mom, neither of them got that motherly figure and it was vital to the way they grew.

"But I love you mom, I really do," Naleli said squeezing Miani's hand. "And I promise to take care of my sister, because I know that's what you want,"

"Me too. I'll never leave her again," Naala said mostly to Naleli.

Miani's breathing starting to slow down, a few huffs coming from her.

"We love you too," Naala said holding onto her mom tighter. The twins stayed wrapped up with their mom till she took her final breath.

Naleli got up almost immediately but Naala didn't move. It took Dave to come back into the room to get her to let the doctors do their job.

"That's my mom Amir," Naala sobbed loudly, "I'm not leaving,"

"Baby come on," Dave said softly rubbing her back up and down.

"No, I'm staying here," Naala shook her head letting go of him.

"Can you give her a minute?" Dave asked the doctors. "Just a minute,"

"Naala you have to let her go now," Dave said standing behind her.

"It's not fair," Naala sniffed, "She was meant to watch my children grow up, how am I gonna explain this to them?"

"I know Love, it's fucking with me too because Miss Miani was more of a mother than mine was but baby we gotta let her go," He repeated rubbing her arms.

Naala nodded and continued to stare at her lifeless mother. She reached for her hand and kissed it, taking in her mom's scent for the last time.

"I'm ready," She said after a while turning to Dave.

~~

"I'm not going back there," Naala said to Naleli as they walked to her car.

"Do you want me to kill him?" Naleli mumbled looking at her.

"I'm going to kill him," Naala said firmly. "He thinks I'm pregnant right now so it's the easiest time,"

"Please tell me you're not pregnant," Naleli groaned, causing Dave to perk up from behind them.

"Shut up," Naala slapped her arm. "No of course I'm not pregnant, I'm not that stupid," She lowered her voice.

"Oh trust me you are. How many kids do you have by that dummy?" Naleli gestured to Dave who was stood by his car.

"Don't talk about my lover like that," Naala smiled lightly.

"Your lover? Naala, have you ever been single?" Naleli sighed.

Naala thought for a moment, "Never. Not since Sinai was born,"

"That right there my sister, lays your problem." Naleli shook her head. "You don't know how to live without a man. I think you would learn a lot whole lot about yourself without a man,"

"But I love Amir," Naala replied sadly.

"Yeah but I think you've loved him enough. Take some time for yourself, learn more about Naala," Naleli preached to her.

"Let me go and say bye to him," Naala answered quietly. Her sister was right, Naala needed to experience life as a single woman.

"Are you gonna be okay driving home on your own?" Dave asked when Naala approached him.

"Mmm I'll be fine. How are the kids?" She asked him.

"Missing you," Dave answered simply. "They want you to come home,"

"I'll see them soon," Naala replied stepping back when Dave moved forward. "I have to get back before he starts looking for me,"

"I miss you Naala," Dave sighed putting his hands in his pocket.

"I miss you too," Naala said looking up at him. She stepped into his arms and hugged him tightly. "I've got a plan and I need your help,"

"I'll do anything," Dave nodded. Naala proceeded to tell him everything she was planning on doing.

"So what you want me to do?" Dave asked with a confused face.

"You have to kill me," Naala muttered softly. Dave blew out a breath, the plan was intricate and if they went wrong, people would get hurt.

"When?" Dave gave in, he wanted his wife back, regardless of how.

So I took y'all's advice and I'm gonna finish this book soon, maybe in two chapters. The new book will NOT be a spin off because I realise I hate them 😊
