"ASHER, HAVE YOU SEEN my broomstick servicing kit? I can't find it anywhere!"

"No."

"Asher, did you even listen to what I said?"

"No."

"Can I at least check your room?"

"No."

Annalise Wood rolled her eyes and ignored what her twin brother said as she strolled into his room looking for her precious kit. She rummaged around while Asher sat on his bed, watching a movie on his computer.

"You realize we leave in an hour right?" She said, looking around at his room. His clothes were strewn everywhere, his trunk only half packed. Piles of clothes, textbooks, and paper covered the floor of his bedroom. Annalise internally cringed looking at the mess around her. She wasn't the neatest person, but Asher's room would make even a pig run away in horror.

"I have to finish this movie before we leave." He responded, not even looking up from his computer. "I'm not waiting until christmas break to see how the final avengers movie ends!" He exclaimed.

Annalise rolled her eyes at her brother. "You and your muggle movies. I don't see the fuss."

He finally looked up from his computer, glaring at his sister. "Do not disrespect the avengers. Especially spider-man!" He yelled passionately. "Now can you get out?"

"No, I didn't find my kit yet." She said crouching down, and checking under the bed.

"Well if it's not under the bed or on the floor, it's not here. Go bother Cal or Kaden," He said, shooing her away with hands.

Annalise rolled her eyes and headed to the door. Before she walked away she stuck her head in. "And mum said she wants us down for breakfast. Now."

"I don't need to eat. I need to finish this movie. 38 minutes to go!" He yelped.

Annalise walked down the stairs, and joined the rest of her family who was already seated. She sat down next to her mum and started putting some food on her plate. The sweet smell of buttered pancakes and fresh maple syrup filled the table. Her mouth watered with delight as she poured the syrup over her stack of pancakes.

"Where's Asher?" her mum, asked, glancing around to see if he was still heading down the stairs.

"He wants to finish his movie." Annalise replied, shaking her head at her twin.

"Of course he does." Her mum said, knowingly. "Sometimes I regret buying him that computer.  That's all I find him doing now. Hauled up in that room watching movies." She sighed.

"Don't worry there's no wifi at Hogwarts, so he can't even bring the computer." Annalise replied laughing. "I don't know how he's going to survive."

"I don't see the huge deal about this computer" Her dad emphasized, wrinkling his nose in disapproval. "It's a load of rubbish."

"That's cause you can't figure out how to use it." Her youngest brother Cal sniggered.

"There's just too many things to know!" Her dad replied defensively, slamming his hands down on the table. "Besides, there's more important things you could be doing with your time. Like-"

"- Quidditch." Annalise, and her three other siblings said unanimously finishing their dad's sentence for him.

Everyone laughed as they continued to munch on their last breakfast at home. Today was the start of term at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. In less than an hour, the Wood children would be off, sitting on the Hogwarts express, waiting to get to the castle.

Annalise Lilliana Wood was the only daughter of Oliver and Eliza Wood. Her dad, a wizard, was a famous quidditch player for Puddlemere United, until he retired 3 years ago. Her mother on the other hand was a muggle, and she was a famous football player, which was a popular muggle sport. Their lives were a mix of the muggle world of her mother and the wizard world of her father. They went to Hogwarts and did everything wizards did, but had muggle aspects incorporated into their lives, like Asher with his computer.

Her oldest brother Theodore Wood had graduated Hogwarts a year ago. He was three years older than her and a professional quidditch player for the Wimborne Wasps. He was much like her father when it came to his passion for the sport, however he was much more easygoing and lighthearted. Next came Annalise and Asher. Asher was the older twin (by one minute, but according to him that one minute made a huge difference and he never failed to remind her of it). They were both heading into their sixth year at Hogwarts. Her younger brother Kaden was starting his fourth year. Kaden was the quiet one of the family, as he was more reserved and introverted, and he definitely got their father's seriousness. Her youngest brother Cal was going into his third year. Cal was the jokester of the family and loved making fun of each and every one of them.

The one thing all the Wood's shared a passion for was quidditch (except Asher he was the odd one out). Annalise loved quidditch with all her heart. She loved the rush she got during a match, the wind in her air, as she zoomed across the sky on her LightningStreak 2001. Most of all, she loved shooting the quaffle through the hoops, goal after goal. Unlike her father and her brother who played keeper, she loved being a chaser.

"So Annalise," Theo said, chewing his food. "Dad tells me you are the new Gryffindor quidditch captain?"

She beamed gesturing the badge pinned to her shirt. "Yes, I am. Following in your's and dad's footsteps!" She smiled proudly, showing off her badge to the rest of her family.

"I knew you would get it!" Her dad grinned, patting her on the back. "And you thought that Potter kid was going to get it! Psh!" Her father chuckled as if the idea that anyone but his daughter as quidditch captain was preposterous.

She bit her lip. "I was so worried since he is a damn good chaser! But of course I'd never tell him that."

James Sirius Potter, was the oldest son of the famous Harry Potter. Yes, the boy who saved the wizarding world, and of course James never failed to mention it. James was nothing like his dad however. He was annoying, ccoky, arrogant, full of himself, and thought he was better than Annalise at everything. Which he wasn't. He definitely wasn't. She couldn't stand him, and the two had never got along since the day they met.

"You're better than him anyway!" Her dad said proudly, slapping her on the back. "And like I told you, if you have to shove him off his broomstick to get that quaffle and score, you do it!"

"Dad, you do realize they're on the same team?" Cal said, raising his eyebrow.

"Yes Cal, I know they are on the same team." Her dad rolled his eyes. "But when it comes to Quidditch sometimes you have to go through measures to outdo even your team members. Even if it means potentially injuring them."

Her mum smacked her dad on arm and glared at him. "This is why I tell you kids not to listen to your dad." She said, while Annalise's dad frowned, but stayed quiet, letting his wife talk. "He's crazy. Absolutely insane." Her mum muttered as her dad grumbled silently.

"I would have thought you or him would get it." Theodore said. "You both were phenomenal chasers when I was captain. It was bound to be one of you."

"I'm just so happy I got it over him." She exclaimed in delight. "I was so worried. Probably even more about this than my OWL results." she chuckled.

"As you should be!" Her dad said. "Who cares about OWLS, when Quidditch is obviously more important."

Her mother glared at her dad once more. "You are the reason these kid's priorities are all messed up!"

Her dad smiled sheepishly. "Liza honey. I'm the reason our kids turned out right."

Her mother raised her eyebrows at her father, challenging him. "Oh really?"

"Mum, I for one am glad to have you." Cal grinned. "Dad would have had us drop out of Hogwarts and practice Quidditch all day if it weren't for you."

Her father shrugged. "I was actually considering it when it was time for Theo to go to Hogwarts. I proposed it to your mother. She shot that idea down quickly and told me I was insane."

"You are insane." Annalise said laughing.

She continued to gobble down her breakfast. She listened as each of her siblings talked about their lives. Theo was excited for his upcoming season with the Wimborne Wasps. They were projected to be number 2 in the preseason rankings. He talked about how they had a great chance for the Euro-league cup. Kaden simply did not want to go back to Hogwarts. He complained and complained about the unnecessary amount of school work and how no one even used anything they learned in the future. He complained so much that their mum eventually had enough and told him to shut up. Cal on the other hand was very excited to go back to Hogwarts. He was going into his third year which meant he could now take electives. He had chosen care of magical creatures, arithmancy, and ancient runes, and was excited for all of them.

Annalise stood up and walked over to the sink. She begun washing her plate, slowly setting it into the dishwasher. She glanced at the clock and noticed that it would soon be time to leave.

"Kids, you should go get packed. We should leave very soon. We don't want to be late." Their mother said cleaning up the table, noticing the same thing. "And one of you tell Asher to pack his stuff this instant, and that if he's not packed, we're leaving without him."

"Sure thing mum." Annalise chuckled, as she walked up the stairs. She walked down the hallway towards her brother's room, and slowly cracked open the door. The room was silent. Asher was sprawled out onto the bed facedown, his face shoved into a pillow. She looked around at the sight of his room. It was the same as she had left him.

"Asher!" She yelled grabbing a pillow and hitting her brother. "What the hell are you doing! Mum is going to kill you. We're leaving soon!"

"Hw cae hy." He said, his voice muffled by the pillow.

Annalise rolled her eyes. "I can't understand you." She shoved her brother, as her rolled around and faced the ceiling.

"How could they." He groaned in despair.

"Asher what is the matter with you?" She asked in confusion.

"They just killed him! They killed Tony Stark! He sacrificed everything time after time. He finally had a daughter and finally found peace and happiness with Pepper and they had to kill him off. What the fuck Marvel! And Peter! Poor Peter. He lost the last father figure in his life. It's not fair! It's just not fair." He yelled in despair, turning back around as he let out a strange mix between a groan and a cry into his pillow.

Annalise simply stood there staring at her brother not sure of how to react to the situation. "I have absolutely no idea what you're on about, but I suggest you get packing before Mum comes up here and ends your life!" She turned around and walked out of his bedroom.

"How can I pack when TONY STARK IS DEAD!" She heard Asher yell from his bedroom. Her Mum walked towards her, as Annalise was about to walk in her room.

"Is Asher packed or do I have to go in and yell at him?" She asked, even though Annalise knew her mum already had the answer.

"He's depressed over some muggle movie again." Annalise rolled her eyes. "And no, he's not packed, but did you really expect him to be?"

Her mother sighed as she marched towards Asher's room. "Asher Timothy Wood, you get out of bed this instant and pack your trunk! I don't think you realize that we have to leave in 15 minutes! And what the hell is your room!" Her mum yelled as Annalise struggled to hold back a laugh.

"Mum, but Tony Stark is Dead!"

"I don't care if Timmy whatnot is dead! You pack your bags this instant!"
