Clay POV

Our hands unlocked, I felt a little sad when it happened, but it was better. I didn't want people from my football club to think I was gay or anything. George dribbled inside and I smiled about the way he walked. It was so extremely adorable. He grabbed my hand again and pulled me with him. It was his way of communicating.

'Lockers.'

'I don't have a code or anything.'

'Principal, come.'

We walked to the principal office and George made me knock on the door. The principal said we could come in and I opened the door.

'New,' George mumbled.

'Oh, are you Clay? George, what nice of you that you brought him here. Aren't you in the bakery at this time?'

'I helped,' he whispered, avoiding eye contact with anyone.

I smiled at him and opened my arms. He walked slowly closer and hugged me. The principal laughed softly and looked at me again.

'So Clay. I guess I can show you around, but maybe George wants to.'

I let go of George and he looked at me for a split second. 'Will you George?'

He nodded. 'Hug.'

I smiled and hugged him again.

'Clay, you're in class 5Hx. You will get your schedule. Wait, here you go.'

George looked up as I got my schedule and he looked at the paper. 'Same.'

'You're actually a lot of the time in his class,' the principal said.

George nodded and rested his head against my chest again. I rubbed his back and pushed him away softly. 'The class will start, Georgie.'

He blushed by the name I gave him and he nodded. He grabbed my hand again and pulled me with him. 'Come, this way.'

He walked outside and the principal called me. George waited outside and I went back in.

'It's good that you get along with George. He is always a little alone.'

'He is very sweet.'

'He has autism and he is very emotional. Some comments can hurt him a lot and that sometimes makes him cry. He is a few years younger in his head, but he is very smart.'

'Thanks for letting me know.'

'Take care of him, he is such a sweet boy, but so insecure.'

'I will, I definitely will.'

I walked back to George who now seemed sad.

'What's wrong?'

'I thought you left me here.'

'Aww, of course not.'

He had tears in his eyes and I hugged him.

'I didn't leave you, Georgie. I was talking with the principal.'

He looked up and smiled. I wiped a tear from his cheek and he grabbed my hand again. I was impressed. He was a few years younger in his head, but he just functioned in a normal school, it was impressive. I looked at George again, the way he walked in front of me, it was so extremely adorable. I couldn't keep my eyes off him. He turned around like he felt me staring and smiled.

'This way,' he mumbled. He always spoke really quietly, something I also adored. I noticed I adored him in his whole.

We walked for a little and George showed me the class I had to be.

'Are you also coming?'

'Do you want to sit next to me?'

I nodded. 'Of course.'

I opened the door and we walked in. The class wasn't full yet since it hadn't started yet. George and I sat down and the teacher walked towards us.

'Are you the new student?' she asked.

I nodded. 'I'm Clay.'

'George, why aren't you in the bakery?'

George didn't answer and got nervous. I saw him scratching his skin.

'I met him in the bakery and we are in the same class apparently.'

'Oh, that's nice!'

George kept looking down at the table and stood up. 'I don't want to be here,' he whispered.

'What's wrong, George?' the teacher asked.

'I'm never here the first class,' he whispered to me.

He suddenly got sad again and I stood up to walk outside the classroom with him.

'What's wrong?'

'I can't handle the change.'

'Do you want to go back to the bakery?'

He shrugged and looked shortly at me. I saw tears filling his eyes. 'I miss the bakery.'

'Aww, Georgie. I'm so sorry for asking you to come with me, I didn't know you find change this difficult.'

A tear rolled down his cheeks and I wiped it away. He looked at me in pure sadness.

'I bring you back to the bakery.'

He shook his head. 'I want to stay.'

'But it makes you very upset.'

He shrugged and smiled. 'You're sweet.'

I smiled back, he was so adorable.

'Can I make it better for you, Georgie?'

'One more hug?'

I grinned and hugged him tightly again.
