-Moby Dick-

Finally, that day had come, the day which would lead to a series of tragedies. Thatch had already left for his own mission, along with some members of his division. They would go to one of the islands which was under Whitebeard's protection because of an emergency call.

Marco knew Thatch would find the Yam Yami no mi right after this trip, but he couldn't do anything, this event must happen. At first, Marco intended to tell Thatch to throw the devil fruit once he saw it, but they wouldn't have a way to prove Teach was a traitor by doing that. Perhaps he could find a way to prevent Thatch from his death. This matter should be discussed among their group of time travelers.

As for now, the phoenix was trying his best to hide his anxiety from his siblings. However, Whitebeard, being a good father, always knew something was up with his children with just a single look. Therefore, now he was facing Marco inside his room.

"So what has been bothering you, son?!"

Marco knew he wasn't able to hide from his pops, so he sighed while letting his shoulders relax. Then he slowly walked up to Whitebeard. The captain quickly knew his son's intention, so he held out his hands in order to let Marco get on and have a comfy seat while in his embrace.

"Do you still remember Teach's betrayal that I once told you about? Thatch would likely find what the traitor has been looking for after this trip, and soon start a chain of events", Marco said with a sad tone.

"So the time has finally come...." Whitebeard said with the same tone as Marco.

Ever since Marco had revealed his secret, and what led him to come back. Whitebeard had hoped that with time travel, things would turn out differently. The captain obviously knew this event would happen sooner or later, and they couldn't do anything to stop it from happening. Sometimes the captain wondered if knowing the future would help them to avoid the worst or make them become more desperate. Besides, did he even know what the worst was? Maybe the time travelers were the only ones who knew the answer to his question.

"I've been anxious since I realized the day was near. Even Ace also noticed my sleepless night. However, I couldn't help it. Pops I'm scared.....I'm scared everything will go wrong.....I'm scared I'll lose you guys again.....I'm scared of being alone again...." Marco's body was trembling

It was like Marco was deep inside his own thoughts rather than sharing with his captain. The phoenix was seeing himself locked inside a dark room with no sight of Whitebeard, slowly recalling all the time he had to watch his crewmates and father figure dying in front of his eyes. Once again, he was alone in the dark. Why did he always end up as the survivor? This was obviously a curse to him.

Looking at his miserable son, Whitebeard gave out a tired sigh. Inside his memory, Marco was once a bright child, he always seemed so optimistic all the time. However, the lack of his family presence beside him had made Marco become the complete opposite of what he used to be. Whitebeard then slowly rubbed his finger on Marco's back to calm his son down. Soon the phoenix felt asleep as the tiredness had finally kicked in.

"We won't leave you alone again, Marco," Whitebeard said.

Ace had just finished his morning training with Sabo, so he decided to take a bath and go to the kitchen to eat something. However, once he stepped inside his room, which he shared with Marco, the fire logia quickly noticed the Commander wasn't in the room. Thinking he was probably staying with pops or running around like a mother hen, Ace then put this matter aside and went to the bathroom.

Once he finished, Ace quickly headed to the deck, looking for a certain phoenix, but there was still no sight of the bird or his pops. Suddenly, his worry kicked in, scared that something might happen to them. Therefore, Ace had been running around asking and searching for them, but no one seemed to know, except...

"Marco and pops?" Deuce said.

"Yeah! Did you see them?" Ace asked.

"Hmmm......oh, I saw them go to the old man's room. Perhaps they're still there."

"Thanks, Deuce!" Ace said.

Ace quickly rushed toward his captain's room, gently knocked on the door and waited for a response from the old man.

"Come in!"

Ace then slowly turned the door knot and walked inside. The Second Commander was shocked to see Marco sleeping soundless in Whitebeard's hands. A smile then slowly crossed his face, it had been so long since Marco could sleep like that.

"Do you need anything, Ace?" Whitebeard asked.

"No, pops! I'm just worried because I haven't seen you two on the deck", Ace replied.

"It's been so long since he could sleep like that", Ace continued while looking at Marco

"He's gone through so many things."

"At least he could share it with me. I'm his lover, aren't I?!" Ace pouted

Whitebeard smiled, then slowly shook his head.

"It's not that easy, Ace. Perhaps he would tell you, once he had the courage to face it."

-Going Merry-

Luffy was happily building his snowman. Suddenly he felt his opponent's presence, so the captain quickly jumped behind the unfinished snowman. Carefully analyzing his surroundings, trying to locate where his enemy was. The captain knew he could just jump out and land a hit on his opponent before he was hit. However, once he jumped out, he definitely lost, as the enemy was also waiting for him patiently.

The captain then slowly considered his option in this situation. If he got hit, this fight would immediately end. Using his devil fruit was out of the question right now, so did Geppo. A plan quickly came up inside his mind, he then gave out a grin as if he knew he would definitely win.

On the other hand, Usopp was hiding behind one of the columns on the ship, patiently waiting for his opponent to come out. However, Luffy suddenly appeared behind him and gave him a slight hit on the head.

"Oi, Luffy! You cheated, you bastard", Usopp angrily said, while pointing his finger at the captain.

"Seriously.... Usopp, you banned me from using my devil fruit power, then Haki and also Geppo. You have your Observation Haki, don't you? At least give me something to work with", Luffy said in annoyance.

"Do I look like I can fully control the Observation Haki?" Usopp grumbled.

"But hey, what is that technique?" The sniper asked.

"It's called Soru....." Luffy then explained it to Usopp.

At first, it was just a building snowman competition between the two, but it somehow turned into a snowball fight. The captain knew this was his disadvantage, since it required a good snipping skill and he needed to know how to save ammo, which Usopp was good at. However, Luffy still ended up being the winner. Ever since the Haki training started, Luffy had been encouraging his crewmates to make surprise attack on each other like an assassination, in order to help build their guard and Observation Haki. Therefore, his crew had made a lot of progress in controlling their Observation Haki, especially Sanji.

"How can those two still have so much energy?!" Nami asked.

The navigator was watching Luffy explaining his new technique to Usopp while sitting inside the kitchen. The crewmates had been pretty busy because of the crazy weather on the Grand Line. Nami swore she would end up losing her mind if she kept trying to find an answer. Not long ago, it was still a sunny day, but the storm suddenly came. Then it turned back to be sunny again. Now it was snowing. What kind of weather was that?! Nami then rubbed her hair frustratingly, Sanji, who was standing near her, also felt a bit of empathy towards the navigator.

Then out of nowhere a pile of snow hit the window and made Nami startle. The navigator slowly stood up and walked outside. As soon as Usopp and Luffy felt a dangerous presence was coming, those two immediately kneeled down, trying to behave as best as they could. However, Nami only gave them a sweet smile, making the duo feel nervous.

"Na..... Nami?" Usopp asked.

"Ne,...you guys seem to have a lot of time playing around, don't you?" Nami asked as her face had slowly become darker.

"W-we....we're sorry" Usopp said.

"THEN AT LEAST MAKE YOURSELVES USEFUL, IDIOTS?!" Nami yelled angrily at them.

"What about you then.... Shouldn't you go check the Log Pose?" Luffy pouted

"I already checked it two minutes ago" Nami replied, still a bit angry.

"Well, a lot can happen in two minutes."

Normally, Nami would look at Luffy like he had lost his mind. However, considering Luffy was a time traveler, he would surely have better knowledge about this than her, or at least he had already gone through this before. Therefore, Nami quickly went back to her room to check on the Log Pose. Soon a high shriek was heard, followed by a bang from the door.

"EVERYONE, TURN THE SHIP AROUND 180 DEGREES IMMEDIATELY! WE'RE GOING ON THE WRONG WAY!"

"I told you so" Luffy pouted.

The crew then once again went back to being busy with controlling the ship. They had completely missed the two presences that were inside the empty cabin on the ship. Well, not everyone, Luffy and Zoro, had already picked up their presences, but Luffy didn't make any move, so Zoro let them be

"Are you sure this was a good idea, Mr.9?"

"This was the only way to go back to our town after losing the Log Pose, Ms.Wednesday"

However, the door of the cabin where they were hidden was suddenly opened. The duo's faces became pale as they rapidly realized the captain of this pirate crew was standing in front of them with his hands crossed.

"You should also work if you want to get a ride on this ship. Now go outside and help". Luffy then picked up both of them by their collars and threw them on the deck.

"How the hell did they get on the ship?!" Usopp questioned.

"Don't worry, I'll look after these two". Luffy informed them.

Nami then went back to direct everyone while Luffy was keeping eyes on their new guests. The duo wanted to complain about being treated like kids by the captain, but they quickly shut down once Luffy released an intimidating aura and commanded them to work.

"Catch the wind from the right side! We'll use it to turn the ship all the way around to the left! Usopp takes the jib! Sanji will take the rudder", Nami commanded.

"JUST LEAVE IT TO ME, NAMI-SWAN!" Sanji fawned from inside the kitchen.

"And be quiet!" Nami added coldly.

"Got it". Usopp sighed helplessly at his boyfriend.

"What a violent woman!" Mr.9 said quietly, but was heard by Luffy, so he quickly hit him on his head to shush him.

"OI, THE WIND JUST CHANGED, NAMI!" Usopp shouted from the jib sail.

"That's impossible?!" Nami was shocked to see the winter was now slowly turning into spring.

"Ah, the first breeze of spring!" The two guests said as they had stopped working to enjoy the wind, while Luffy was laughing at their antics.

"THE WAVES ARE GETTING HIGHER! ICEBERG SPOTTED AT 10 O'CLOCK AHEAD", Usopp informed

"ZORO! WAKE THE FUCK UP! WE HAVE AN EMERGENCY SITUATION!" Nami shouted.

"LEAVE IT TO ME!" Luffy said, then turned back to face the other two.

"Keep working, don't let me see you two slacking off!" Lufy threatened them, then went to destroy the obstacle.

"NOW THERE'S FOG!" Sanji reported.

"WATER IS LEAKING IN THE LOWER DECK!" Ms.Wednesday said.

"USOPP!" Nami called out.

"ON IT!" Usopp replied while carrying the wood and hammer. Luffy also came down to help him.

"YOU! HURRY RAISE THE SAIL! THE WIND IS TOO STRONG" Nami pointed at Mr.9

"EVERYONE, EAT UP AND ENERGIZE!" Sanji shouted and took out a pile of onigiris and drinks.

He then threw a sake bottle at Luffy, which the captain easily caught and drank to the last drop. Sanji then placed down the captain's portion. The crew quickly dug in before they all went back to work.

"SHIT! THE SAIL IS TEARING!" Nami was frustrated

"SANJI TAKES MY PLACE AND BRINGS SOME MORE PLANKS!" Usopp said, then went to the torn sail to fix it.

"NAMI! HOW IS THE LOG POSE?!" Luffy shouted.

"It....it changed.....again!" Nami said, then dropped to the floor, she was so done with this stupid weather.

Zoro yawned tiredly as he stretched his body, slowly waking up. Looking at the clear sky above him with a cool wind blowing nicely.

"What a nice day for a nice nap", Zoro said.

The swordsman then looked around just to notice his captain was sitting on the rail, completely normal. The captain had no sight of sweat on his body, or having difficulty breathing because of tiredness. Not to mention, the idiot captain was grinning with his two hands on the back of his head, enjoying the nice weather. Completely different from everyone else who was lying in the floor, no scratches, no injured, completely fine. Huh, never known those guys could be this lazy?!

"I know the weather is nice and all, but don't you think you are a bit slacking off?" Zoro said

As they heard what Zoro said, each of them all have a big tick mark on their heads, except for Luffy.

'You son of a-' they all thought.

"So you two have already come out of your hidden place, huh" Zoro crouched down to look at the uninvited guests.

Somehow, Zoro didn't feel Nami was slowly approaching him despite having better control of Observation Haki than the others, minus Luffy, she was releasing a dark energy which made everyone flee away, even their captain. Looking at the trembling duo in front of him, Zoro thought they were scared because they recognized him, but soon he noticed their tears were ready to fall on their eyes while pointing at something behind him. The swordsman then slowly turned back, and he quickly regretted it.

"Zoro~! Do you enjoy your nice nap!" Nami smiled and her face was covered with shadow.

Soon a loud splash of something being thrown into the sea was heard right behind the back of Merry. Zoro then quickly climbed back up to the ship just to see Luffy was laughing his ass off, while Sanji and Usopp were also trying their best to hold their laughter. They soon also noticed that Mr.9 and Ms.Wednesday had already left the ship without a single word, but the crew didn't seem to care much about it

"LAND HO!" Usopp shouted once he spotted the island from far away.
