In Love

Now.. We are about to go to grade 8. "Chandu.. Chandu.. Wake up! Are you dreaming with your eyes open? Get dressed up, we are going out", said my sister.

Oh my..! I have been dreaming of him. Prajid. He now knew that I loved him too.

I felt like I released one ball. The other ball was my dad. This one is a bit trickier.

He promised me that he would convince my dad. Yet, I was a bit scared.

He called me one Saturday morning, "Hey Chandu.. How are you?"

I talked with fear," Yeah. I am fine. How are you?" He said, "I am good too. Can you come out for a while? I will come and pick you up." I asked, "Where?"

He told, "Anywhere you wish." We agreed to meet in the ice cream shop in near my home.

I told my mom and left to meet him.

For the first time, we are meeting alone. We had our favorite butterscotch ice cream. He walked me down the road to home. We were staring at the ground as we kept walking.

"So?" he questioned me. I turned and looked at him.

I choked a little by the way he looked at me. It was definitely so romantic.

He smiled and asked me, "What?" I smiled. His eyes were so mesmerizing.

He said, "I am going to miss you. When can we meet next?"

I told, "We will see." We had reached home by that time and I said, "Bye." Whispered, "I miss you too." He asked, "What? What did you say? Come again..." I laughed and waved bye to him.

It was another sleepless night which passed thinking about our time together.

Days passed and we were in touch through phone.

Our parents planned for another trip. This time, it was a hill station, Kodaikanal. It was one of the famous hill stations near our place.

We all booked a big van and went there. We had so much fun in the bus.

As usual, I sat with Prajid and Ajay. We had our own communications and stuff.

This time it was only our three families. So our sisters and brothers were with us. We were seven children in total. It was still fun.

We stayed in a hotel and toured around. Prajid was so fun to be with. Lake is the major attraction in kodaikanal. We can cycle around it. Walk and ride horses. Likewise, we had so much fun around the lake.

In a hill station, one must thing to do is to drink tea. One evening, we stopped in a tea stall to have tea. They also served delicious bondas and bajjis (Snacks of South India). We kids had our snacks and played there while our parents had their tea.

Prajid and I had a few secret moments together. They were so precious. They were very secretive. It was thrilling too.

Prajid, added more color to my life. We both were totally engrossed in love.

We had a few moments here and there.
