Chapter 66

Izuku was sitting next to Inko. For a few seconds, nothing happened, but then color started to return to her.

'It's... working!'

Izuku looked expectedly but nothing happened. There was no sign of her waking up, and Izuku lowered his head.

'Please... wake up.'

"I-Izuku? Is that you?"

Izuku looked up to see his mother sitting up, perfectly healthy as if nothing happened in the past few years.

Izuku's eyes were wide open, as tears started streaming down his face.

"M-mom..." he muttered, as he gulped and Inko looked at him, dazed and confused.

"You've... grown," she said as she smiled and Izuku broke down.

Inside One for All, Sung-jin Woo himself felt tears rolling down his cheeks, and it was the first time in a while he had gotten this emotional.

"Wow... I didn't think you could cry," Nana commented as Jin-Woo Chuckled.

"I just... it's really relatable. I had gone through the same thing," he said with a smile as he looked up.

What surprised everyone there the most was Banjo crying.

"What happened Banjo sensei!?" asked the sixth user with wide eyes.

"Ah, nothing, just remembered something..." he muttered as he could still remember what had happened. His mother's screams, All for One's laugh, and his own promise.

"I just hope the Ninth is strong enough..." he muttered as residual energy sparked around him.

In the real world, Inko put her hand on Izuku's head as he cried.

"You've been through a lot, haven't you?" she asked as he muttered a 'yeah'.

"How long?"

"Over 5 years."

"I... I'm sorry Izuku," she muttered as Izuku looked at her and smiled.

"Don't be mom," he said as he hugged her.

"So... you kept your promise..."

"Yeah, Izumi's fine. She's grown up really awesome, she's the best sister I could ask for," he said beaming, though teardrops were still falling out of his eyes.

"That's great. I knew that even without me, my kids would grow up to be the best," she said with a smile, her own tears now falling.

"Yeah, well, we had the best parents. And... dad's back," he said as Inko's eyes widened again.

"He was captured by some as- some stupid people, but he escaped, or more like destroyed them and returned a few weeks ago," he said as Inko chuckled.

"Yeah, that sounds like him. So... what have you been up to? And how did I even wake up?" she asked as Izuku smirked, his usual mischievous one.

"That's a secret," he cheekily said as Inko pulled his cheeks.

"Aw, my baby boy grew up. You must be a ladykiller now," she said as Izuku winced.

'I am supposed to have a lot of defense! HOW DOES IT HURT SO MUCH!' he thought as he chuckled and cried due to pain at the same time.

"Ah..." he said nursing his swollen cheeks and pouting.

"Well, I do have a super amazing girlfriend," he said as Inko practically swooned.

"That's amazing! Though I hope she's a nice girl," she said the last part in a worried tone.

"Don't worry, Izumi approved," he said with a thumbs up causing her to giggle.

"We- wait, a few doctors are on their way. I'll talk to you later," he said as he went up to the window and looked at Inko.

"And don't worry about this," he said as he jumped out and Inko almost yelled.

"I said don't worry," he said as she saw him hovering outside the window, as if sitting on something.

"Well, Kaisel and I'll be going," he said as he flew away at breakneck speed.

'What the hell just happened?' Inko thought. She thought that Izuku was quirkless and his awakening was weak.

However, this thinking wouldn't last long, as at that exact moment, some doctors burst in, saying, 'A patient has awakened from Eternal Slumber! Contact the senior doctor Mike right away!'

"WHAT? WHICH PATIENT?"

"THE MOTHER OF THE NEWEST S-RANK HUNTER IZUKU MIDORIYA!"

"WHAT! IZUKU'S S-RANK!"

Steve had a deadpan look.

Right now, he was shopping with Toga. And god knows how tired he was.

Yes, I know. He was pretty tired.

(After ages, you drop in only to remind everyone of your 'god' status?)

Yes UWU

(Well, with all due respect, fuck you, your majesty)

Sorry to disappoint you, I don't swing that way

(Wha- I-

Getting back to the chapter, even with his immense stamina, Steve found himself unable to keep up with Toga.

"LOOK! HERE, HERE!" she yelled as she pointed at a perfume store, and Steve sighed and walked alongside her.

"Well, since we're on a budget..."

"But we're n-"

"Sush! It's nice to save money you know," she said as Steve deadpanned.

"A few thousand dollars won't make a dent on 46 Billion," he said as her eyes widened.

"YOU OWN THAT MUCH!"

"NOW YOU SUSH! And yes, since I own the Hellfire Corp, which is the one in charge of most hero merch, and all the RnD, and stuff, yes, I own that much. I don't know what to do with that though. So I just keep investing in I-Island, a Mining firm, a few startups that aren't startups anymore, and stuff. But I keep on getting profit so yeah," he said as Toga just shook her head.

"Just leave it to the bigshot to have everything."

"HEY! ALL MIGHT OWNS 10 Billion more than me! And Stars and Stripes has her own private army kinda thing!"

"You have a whole corporation with over I-don't-know thousand heroes at your disposal. Your point being?"

"Well, it's 4342 heroes, not including their sidekicks. And anyway, so as I was saying money isn't the issue here," he said as Toga pulled his ears.

"Flexing money won't get you girls mister. And anyway, you might not be on a budget, but I am. Try learning some restraint you know, it might help you out in future," she said as Steve just listened to her, his head drooping like a sad puppy.

"You're mean..."

"Oh come on drama queen, we've got t-" Toga was cut in the middle of the sentence by Steve's phone ringing.

Caller- Rudra

"Ah, sorry, this call is important," he said as he walked to a corner.

'I wonder what could that be about? He did say about some 'Harbingers' and Monarchs,' Toga thought as she scrunched up her face.

The past few days had been good, in fact unrealistically good for her. She didn't need to suppress her bloodlust or personality, though she did her best not to drink blood, since that would cause some pain to Steve, not that it was great, but she didn't want to inflict it on Steve.

Toga's therapy had started three days ago, and so did her training under Steve as a hero. For education, she was going the home tutoring route as it wouldn't really fit in with the schedule. Since she was 17 and most kids started their Hero course life at 15 or 16, she had missed a whole year, and thus the pace of her studies needed to match the pace of her Hero training.

And Steve, who already had Kaminari as his Protege, and was planning to take on another the following academic year, was perfect for this job.

But well, in excitement, they overlooked one thing. Toga didn't have any clothes. -_-

So by the second day, she was in Steve's clothes, which she found comfortable.

Thus, right now they were here to get her clothes.

But that's a lot of talk, let's get back to the present time.

Steve walked back with a serious look on his face, and toga looked at him worriedly.

"Is something wrong?" she asked as Steve sighed.

"Not really, just that we might have to cut this trip short," he said as Toga nodded.

"What happened?"

"Well, I've got some leads about some stuff. He actually told me to meet him in a cafe, you can come if you want. Just, we both will have to sit at different tables due to the classified nature of the talk," he said as Toga nodded understandingly.

"So, let's go!" she yelled happily.

-----------------------------------------

"That son of a bi-"

"Language!" said Toga, as Steve deadpanned.

"Seriously? A maid cafe?" he said with a pout.

"Why, what's wrong?" Toga asked as Steve sighed.

"Well, it's just that his places to meet up are always... weird. Like if it was only maid cafes or something, then it would be fine. But with his past records... it almost seems like he's fulfilling his kinks or just likes to watch me suffer," Steve explained as Toga smiled.

"What past places?" she asked teasingly as Steve blushed and muttered something incomprehensible.

"I didn't quite get that," Toga said with her smile becoming more cat-like.

"A s-strip club a-and... s-spanking c-cafe..."
