"Dei nee enna loose aa da?" Sivaangi frowned on her call with her friend Harsha, who was confused. "Yen Sivaangi? Enna achu?" Sivaangi frowned, "Pch... andha cake yen da story la potte? Adhu trial cake da. Avarukku birthday ku perfect aa varanum nu trial paakaren nu sonnen la. Icing thaan seriya vara maatengardhu da so onnu panni unakku anuppa poren u naan thaan sonene. Ippo avar paatha guess paniduvaar. Avarukku surprise na romba pudikkum da. Dei yen da ippidi loose aa irukke."

Harsha scratched his head, "Ayo sorry naan ennoda 500K sandhoshathula nee sonnadhe marandhutten. Ippo venumna delete pannidava?" Sivaangi continued to yell at him, "Nee onnum kizhikka vendaam. Naan adha reshare pannale. May be avar unnoda story paaka maatar. Naan reshare pannina kandippa paapaar. Seri da. Naan aparam pesaren" and she hung up. Harsha turned around to his friend Ajith, "Dei indha lovers ku nadula maateendu naan muzhikkaren da." Ajith laughed, "Kazhuvi oothinaala?" Harsha nodded but both boys chuckled and went on to play a game of cricket.

Sivaangi had planned a special birthday celebration for Ashwin. She had planned a quiet dinner for two at her house. Since they had two houses, Sivu had taken over one of the flat. Ashwin was going to come around 8 pm. Sivaangi had been busy since morning. Along with baking a heart shaped special cake, Sivaangi had cooked Ashwin's favourite mushroom Biryani. She had painstakingly learnt every single detail from his mother over the past six months and had finally mastered it.  She had also learnt to make her mother-in- law's (soon to be) brinjal gravy to go with it.

She checked the time. It was almost 5. She quickly decorated the cake and put it in the freezer. She had assigned her brother and her friends Ziya and Rakshita to take care of the decorations. She quickly came to the living room to make sure it was all done to her satisfaction. She smiled and said, "Seri seri ippo Neenga ellam kelambunga. Naan ready aganum." While her friends said, "Adi paavi" in unison, her brother said, "Ivvalo velai vaanginadhukku cake aavudhu theruviya dee" only to get a glare from his sister. He continued, "Nee enna tharadhu. Naanum AK vum jigiri dost. Avar enna thaniya gavanippar. Ungalukku third wheel venum garche koopuduve le Appo vachukaren dee unna." Sivaangi ran to hit him but he ran out the door.

She waved to her friends as Ziya yelled, "We want details" and Rakshita agreed, "Yes yes fulllll details un venum" and winked. Sivu blushed knowing what the meant, "Chi ponga dee. I will catch up with you guys in two days." She shut the door and sighed. She turned around to give another glance and smiled in satisfaction. She then went to have a shower. She had gone to the spa the previous day for some pampering and waxing. Her body was as smooth as a baby's skin. She had a nice long shower. She had picked a white sphagetti strapped crop top and a multi colored skirt. She styled her hair. He loved her hair open and parted on one side. She used a moisturizer for her face and completed the look with eye liner, a lipstick and lip gloss.

When satisfied with her reflection in the mirror, she quickly sprayed perfume. It was almost time for him to come. Ashwin was always on time when it was about meeting her and spending time with her. She pulled out the gift bag and placed it on the bed. She then went back to the kitchen to make a quick salad. It was simple dinner like what they usually enjoyed. That way they could spend time on more important things.

The door bell rang just when Sivu finished setting up the dining table. She smiled and went to get the door. The moment she opened the door, he quickly picked her up for a kiss. She shut the door while he took full control of her lips. She wrapped her arms around his neck as her swirled her. He then gently put her down and sighed, "Ethana naal aachu maa unna paathu. Indha lips a naan evvalo miss paninnen theriyum?" Sivu glared at him saying, "Two weeks munnadi thaane meet panninom." He pouted, "Appo ellarum irundhaanga. Unakku Vera cold irundhuchu. Unna kiss kooda panna mudile. Adhu ellam kanakkula serthukka mudiyadhu maa."

He sat on the couch and pulled her to sit on his lap. She cupped his cheeks and said, "Decorations ellam eppidi irukku? Paavam Ziya, Rakshita aparam andha Dhadiyan Sundar a thaan vela vaanginen." AK was busy reaching her neck to pepper more kisses, "Adhellam super aa irukku maa Ana adhellam marakka vekkara madhiri nee semmaya irukku. Enakku ennennamo ellam feel aagudhu." Sivu squirmed as she felt his beard tickle her neck. She giggled, "Ayo kichu kichu aavudhu. Vidunga. Vaanga naan ungalukaaga samachirukken. Neenga thaan time ku saapadnum nu solluveengale."

Ashwin agreed and said, "Seri naan kai wash panittu varen." At the dining table he loved the simple yet perfect spread. He was overwhelmed to see how painstakingly she had learnt to make the biryani just perfect. The salad was finely chopped and exquisitely plated. Everything looked and tasted top notch. After dinner Ashwin helped clear up the dishes and he washed the dirty dishes while Sivaangi sat on the counter entertaining him with her Mokka jokes for which he laughed along with her.

At midnight she brought out the cake for him to cut. She sang the happy birthday song for him and they fed each other the cake. Although he had guessed what she had planned for him, he pretended to have been surprised just to see that bright smile on her face. She then handed the little gift bag to him and raised her eyebrows saying, "Thorandhu paarunga". It was a brand new while shirt. Near the button opening there was an inscription that read "Love".

He pulled her close to him and hugged her tightly. He then held her face close to his and whispered, "I love you so much maa." Just before she could say it, he locked her lips with his. When he let go, she said, "Naalikki morning 4 manikku Thiruvannamalaikku kelambanum. Neenga inge thoongunga naan andha veetukku poren seriya?" But he pulled her close saying, "Enna vittuttu poriya? Naan birthday baby theriyum la." She chuckled, "Neenga naughty baby aache. Naan risk edukka maaten paa. Good night baby. Naan ready ya iruppen ok?" Before leaving their  lips locked yet again, as if there was no tomorrow.

The next morning they went to the temple which was a 4 hours drive. The temple was quite empty as it was a week day. They did their prayers peacefully and as they stopped for brunch, Ashwin checked his phone where he noticed that his fans had done a prayer for him. He liked and commented on that post and took a quick selfie. He posted it on his instagram story and saved it as a draft. The couple headed back back home playing their fabourite play list with a promise to come back as a married couple by the following year.
