You joined the Drake Pirates since some months ago and you loved the crew like your own family. But you loved one person not so much like your family or friends. You loved him more then you could even describe it! And this person was your captain. The devil fruit user, X Drake. And what did you loved about him? His reddish brown hair? His mask he always wears? His tattoo? Or that his jacket is always open and you could see his muscular <s>great</s> chest...? It was everything you could think of. Always when you thought about the 33 years old man, you had a big smile on his face. He always made you happy. Always.

But today... He couldn't make you happy...

You sighed and glanced at your friends. "What's wrong, girl?", asked your beard friend, who was very (probably) older than you or even Drake.

"Nothing...", you sighed again while your head slumped on the kitchen table.

"Hey, guys. We are almost-.... (Y/N), what's wrong?", asked another friend of yours. You glanced from the table to your friend and shook your head. "Noooothing. Everything is fine.", you took a deep breath, sighing longer than before. "Uuuh... Okay.", said the man, who came inside the kitchen to tell you something.

"I... Just wanted to tell you all that we will arrive soon on an island.", he told you all.

You jumped out of your seat and took his hands in yours as your eyes twinkled in joyousness. "Really?!", you asked him and held his hands tighter and tighter.

"Ooow. (Y/N)! Yes... It is true. And stop. My hands! You will break them soon!" You apologized to him and let go of his hands, to dance happily out of the room.

Everyone in the kitchen sweat dropped at you and asked themselves why you were so happy again. "How it seems, our birthday girly is happy again...", one muttered to the others while they nodded their heads.

And why were you so happy? Because you would want to buy a birthday present for yourself!

When the ship arrived on the island, you jumped happily out and ran in the direction of the shops. "What's wrong with her?", asked a confused X Drake to his navigator while he just shook his head and told him that he didn't knew it too.

While you were in nearly every shop, the crew prepared to leave the island soon. "(Y/N)? Hey, (y/n). Where is she again?", asked the reddish brown-haired man himself and looked around him. After some time passed by, he found you.

You were sitting on a big stone near the forest and held a basket in your hands. "(Y/N). There you are-... Why do you hold a basket?"

You looked over to see your captain, grinning at his question. "Ohh. I was just asking myself something while I found something... I wanted to buy myself a birthday present. Buuuuuut I couldn't find something great. But... I found now THIS!!", you said happily and showed him the basket.

His eyebrow rose as he through what could make his doctor and crewmate happy.

"What did make you happy...? And what did you asked yourself?", he asked you and a little bit jealously, that he wasn't the person who made you happy again.

"Hm? Ooh, I was just aaaasking-", you opend the basket and grabbed something out of it while you walked to him, "-If you are maybe related by blood with him?", you asked him and showed him the 'thing' in your hand. And what were you holding? A lizard.

"No.", he deadpanned and turned around to walk away.

"What? Wait! Captaiiiin!~", you held him by his arm and walked with him back to the ship.

"Bring this things away.", he told you and pointed with his finger to your basket where a lot of lizards were inside.

"Why?", you asked him.

"Because I don't want some lizards on my ship.", he told you.

"Buuut... You are a lizard too. And you are on the ship? So... What's the problem?"

He face palmed and glanced at your direction. How stupid could you be? He was even asking himself if you were the strawhat's sibling.

"Okay, okay. I will. Even if you will make me sad again...", you muttered and put the basket somewhere to an alley.

"How about... I will buy you something. Another birthday present."

You opened your mouth to say something, but his next sentence made your mouth shut again.

"-No lizards." You sighed in defeat, glancing at him as you two went back to the deck.

"How about a puppy?", he asked you and you just shook his head.

"A cat?" You shook your head again.

"A mouse?" Again you shook your head.

"A.... Snake....?" And again.

"A... horse?" And again.

"What then?", he asked you while you leaned on the ships railing.

"You know... I always had a heart of lizards.", you told him and sighed again.

Your captain sighed and stared at you while he crossed his arms over his chest. "You really want a lizard, huh?", he asked you while you nodded your head.

"Does it need to be a 'lizard'...? Or could it be a 'related by... blood... thing... 'lizard'' too?"

Now you were confused. You stared into his blue eyes. He grabbed your arm with his hand and pulled you to give you a passionate kiss. You were first shocked that your crush and captain is kissing you, but then you kissed his lips back.

"I need to say... It's a great birthday present... It's even a little bit better than the lizards!", you told him after you two pulled away from each other.

"Just a 'little bit better'?", he asked you as you chuckled at him.

"Yes. A little bit.~", you grinned at captain.

"It's really hard to make you happy, you know?", he sighed while his shoulders slumped down. "Oh, believe me. If you are on my side and won't leave me, I will always be happy!", you kissed his cheeks and embraced the tall man while he hugged you back.



"After all... I do have a heart for lizards.~", you thought with a big grin on your face.
