I get my red bikini on and sandals and grab my phone and walk downstairs and out to the back "Josh I have to show you something I just don't want you to freak out" ...............

Chapter Five - Carys (me) POV

Josh looked at me confused "umm okay show me"

I took a deep breath put everything on the table and dived into the water. A few seconds later I turned into a mermaid and I came up from the water and sat on the steps and look at Josh's shocked face oh no I have ruined everything I thought

He looks at me and smiles "wow I mean how??" I smile a little relieved and he swims to me "when I was a child I was out walking around a small island that no one goes to and there was a moon pool so I went in and I was in the water when it started to bubble and then I was turned into a mermaid and kept it hidden I'm the only one"

Josh smiles big "c...Can I feel it?" He asks making me smile "sure" I lift my tail up as its really light and watch Josh feel the scales

He looks up at me "that's so amazing but how can you act if you pop a tail?" I think and smiles "oh Josh dear you know nothing just yet" I start to use a power and my tail turns back to legs

He jumps back "where did it go" I laugh "it's one of my powers I can control it for as long as I need to and when no one is around or I stop the spell I turn to a mermaid then I dry off"

Josh's POV

I watch Carys as she stops the power and the tail returns "that's amazing babe" She looks at me shocked "what you ain't scared or freaked out?"

I swim next to her "nope I love it and it's awesome" She laughs "thanks babe now then hold my hand and you will breath underwater"

I hold her hand and we both swim under the water. I breath and don't start to choke. I smile and talk "this is awesome!" I put my hand over my mouth and she laughs

"you can talk as well. Only around me so don't be shocked" I smile and she moves her tail up and down moving through the water fast with me. I smile the whole time watching her face and then we go back up

I laugh "babe that was amazing how come you went super speed?" She smiles "it's just something that happens"

I get out and she goes under the water and I look for her not able to see her "Carys??" ............
