chapter one ; still

I turn on my bed for the millionth time tonight. What was I thinking giving him one more chance after that?

I cover my face with the pillow and groan loudly.

"Sleep, Autumn!" My sister hisses. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

I sigh. "I forgave him..."

"Oh... that's good! Everyone will be happy again!"

"It's not that easy... What if I fall in love with him again?" Yes, I did...

"Then, let it happen. If it's meant to be, it's meant to be."

"Jeez, ever since you and Jordan got together, you've been so cheesy..."

"Whatever, just sleep. We still have tomorrow." She turns to face the other side and proceeds to sleep.

Meanwhile, in my head, I had flashbacks of Zach and I... Horrible idea.

"Now, we kiss." He leans in so our noses were touching.

"Really? I thought we were supposed to have a date first?" My eyes flicker to his lips then back to his eyes.

"No. I want to kiss you, right now." He moves more, smiling.

"What if I don't want to?" I tease him, moving backward a little.

"I can't allow that, sweetheart." He whispers then closes the gap between us.

Crap, now how will I sleep?

Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz.

What the hell?

I sat up and grabbed my phone from the table. I click the home button and squinted because of the bright light it produced. All the notifications were from Twitter.

@TwinTwo Will we see you at PAX? C:

I hope @TwinTwo and @Graser10 can sort things out. Still my OTP. <3

@Graser10 @TwinTwo Will Grautumn make up today? I hope so... :c

100+ more tweets.

I sighed. This past year, people have been bugging me about Grautumn and now that it's PAX again, they know we'll see each other.

I went to my profile and saw that Zach refollowed me, just now. I checked his profile and read his last tweet.

@Graser10: Won't waste that one last chance...

I smiled at that. I hope he doesn't...

I decided to tweet out to everyone.

@TwinTwo: I'll be at PAX. <3 Wid da baez.

I set down my cellphone and stretched. I looked around the room.

Where's Summer?

Probably went to Jordan's room or something. I shrugged it off then got ready for the day.

"Who's riding with me then?" I ask. Apparently, Jordan and I are driving people to the venue. Summer and ten others will be in Jordan's van then the rest with me.

"Whoever doesn't ride with me..." He shrugs and I roll my eyes.

"Pft, okay then, smart ass."

He just smirks at me. This boy has an evil plan and I'm gonna figure it out. Jordan and Summer told me to wait in the lobby. They're supposed to just send whoever was riding with me, since I was parked on the ground floor and they were on the basement.

So I'm here, sitting on a lovely couch in the lobby... on Twitter.

TwinTwo: See you all later! Might bring the TwinTwo channel back to life, too. c;

"Hey, let's go."

I froze and looked up. "Uh - okay. Where are t - the others?"

He gave me a confused look. "Jordan said they were already here."

"Uh - no?" I thought for a second. "Um, I think I know why no one's here."

"Why?" He asked. Doesn't he get it?

"I - uhm. Nothing. We should go..."

"How about everyone else?"

"I don't think there's anyone else, Zach." I frown. I said his name out loud. It's been so long. It sounds so foreign now.

His face looked like he found out something that didn't exist. "Oh... then come on!" He grabbed my hand and pulled to my car.

I frowned again and looked at our entwined hands. Zach must've seen my face since he pulled his hand away swiftly.

"I'm sorry. I - sometimes I forget..." He closes his eyes then sighs.

"I - it's okay. Let's just go." I opened my door and sat.

The ride there was really awkward so I just played some old songs that I love.

I found myself singing along to Hate That I Love You.

"And I hate how much I love you, boy. I can't stand how much I need you. And I hate how much I love you, boy. But I just can't let you go. And I hate that I love you so..."

I felt Zach staring at me. I turn to my side to see him smiling like an idiot. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I laugh.

"You're actually here right now."

"Yeah, I am."

"I didn't think this would ever happen again. Seeing you in person."

I smile at him and continued driving. There were a few minutes of comfortable silence when he blurts out some nonsense stuff that made me stop.

"I still love you..."
