20- Liza D'Souza

Drishya bid farewell to Suman and Anmol, leaving their house with a radiant smile on her face.

As she reached her home, she found her mother, sitting in the hall.

Ramya glanced at Drishya and warmly said

Ramya: Aa gayi tu, chal aaja khaana khaa le.

Drishya: Mumma, uski koi zaroorat nahi hai, main lunch kar ke aayi hoon.

Ramya: Kaha?

Drishya: Mr. Shekhawat ke ghar.

Ramya nodded, and Drishya headed to her room.

In the Shekhawat mansion, Suman was busy giving instructions to the house help.

Anmol went to her room to work on her assignments.

Anirudh and Amay were engrossed in discussions about new contracts and potential hotel associations.

The afternoon and evening passed in a routine manner.

In Canada, Abhiram was exhausted from the ongoing conference.

But one glare from Anirvaan he gets busy in taking notes from the conference.

After the long day both the brothers came to their hotel room and sprawled on the bed like kids.

Abhiram expressed his frustration, declaring that he wouldn't attend any more conferences.

Abhiram: Main toh bahut thak gaya, aaj ke baad na ek bhi conference attend nahi karunga main conferences are so boring.

Anirvaan chuckled, suggesting he could convey his displeasure to Dadu.

Anirvaan: Agar dadu ne bola tab bhi nahi?

Abhiram: Main dadu se keh dunga ki muhje aisi boring business trips pe na bheja kare

Anirvaan: Dekhte hai kaise tera muh khulta hai dadu ke samne

As they lay on the bed, the doorbell rang. Both exchanged puzzled glances.

Anirvaan: Itni raat ko kaun aaya hoga?

Abhiram: Bhai dekh lo na kaun hai main tab tak apni beauty sleep le leta hoon

Saying this he slept without changing his clothes

Anirvaan got up and opened the door to find a waiter with a champagne bottle and a letter.

Anirvaan: Yes?

Waiter: Mr. Shekhawat?

Anirvaan: Yes I am!

Waiter: Sir this is for you!

Anirvaan: But I did not order anything

Waiter: Sir I don't know about this but some came and gave us to give you this

Anirvaan: Are you sure? It can be a mistake

Waiter: No sir its for you

The waiter insisted that the order was for him, and after confirming the room number, handed him the bottle and a letter.

The waiter wished him a good day and left, leaving Anirvaan bewildered by the unexpected delivery.

Anirvaan stared at the mysterious letter, his brows furrowed in confusion and concern.

The note from his supposed admirer spoke of love and admiration, claiming to be here for him because of Anirvaan being the reason the sender got to know about love.

The words sounded eerie and unsettling to Anirvaan.

Unsure of how to process this unexpected declaration, Anirvaan crumpled the letter and tossed it, along with the unopened champagne bottle, into the dustbin.

Disturbed by the strange encounter, he changed into fresh clothes and attempted to find solace in sleep.

As Anirvaan settled into bed, the unsettling thoughts lingered, but eventually, he found a moment of tranquility as he allowed his mind to wander to Drishya.

With a small smile playing on his lips, he fell into a deep slumber, dreaming of the woman who had become the twinkle in his starry nights.

The next morning, Anirvaan woke up to find Abhiram sleeping with his legs sprawled on him.

Anirvaan nudged him awake, expressing his annoyance.

Abhiram: Bhai yaar kam se kam acche se sone toh do

Anirvaan: Toh acche se sona mere upar kyun so raha hai?

Abhiram: Aree aap toh aise keh rahe ho jaise pehli baar aapke upar apni taang rakhi hai

Anirvaan: Pata hai, tu bachpan se bandar hai par ab bada ho gaya thodi tameez se soya kar

Abhiram rolled her eyes and Anirvaan rose from his sleep, and seeing Abhiram's antics, he said

Anirvaan: Come on, get ready. We need to handle some formalities about the deal we cracked.

Abhiram, initially whining, perked up at the mention of upcoming enjoyment.

Anirvaan: After that, you are free to enjoy and party, but only if you are on your best behavior.

Abhiram: Don't worry, bhai. I am always on my best behavior. Chalo chalo, jaldi chalte hai.

They both got ready and left the hotel for the day's tasks and eventual enjoyment.

Anirvaan and Abhiram, dressed in their formal attires, stepped out of the elevator and entered their cabin at the Shekhawat Legacy branch.

As they settled into their seats, Mr. Vinay Khurrana, a respected figure in the business world and owner of three hotels in Rajasthan, entered the room.

Vinay was in his late 50s, sophisticated, and had proposed a business deal with the Shekhawats.

Greeting each other respectfully, Vinay expressed his pleasure at working together.

The formalities were quickly concluded, and Vinay extended an invitation to Anirvaan

Vinay: Mr. Shekhawat, it would be delightful if both of you could join me for dinner at my home.

Anirvaan glanced at Abhiram, who was signaling him to decline, but being polite, Anirvaan agreed to the invitation. Vinay confirmed

Vinay: Okay then, we will meet at my place around 8 PM.

After Vinay left the cabin, Abhiram expressed his reluctance to attend the dinner.

Abhiram: Main nahi jaaunga

Anirvaan insisted, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good relations with their new associates.

Abhiram, initially resistant, finally agreed with a condition.

Anirvaan chuckled and remarked

Anirvaan: Anmol is more sensible than you. You're literally a kid in a grown-up man's body.

Annoyed, Abhiram stomped out of the cabin, leaving Anirvaan shaking his head at his brother's antics.

Anirvaan and Abhiram reached Vinay Khurrana's house for dinner.

As they settled in the hall, a girl named Liza D'Souza entered wearing a bodycon dress.

Her seductive movements caught Abhiram's attention, and he whispered to Anirvaan

Abhiram: Bhai, mujhe nahi pata tha ki Mr. Khurrana itne rangeen insaan hain. Inki wife inse kaafi choti nahi hai.

Anirvaan, feeling uncomfortable with Liza's gaze, hushed Abhiram.

Vinay introduced Liza as his niece, and the brothers nodded in acknowledgment.

During dinner, Liza intentionally sat in front of Anirvaan, her eyes locked on him with an evident lust.

Liza: (started a conversation) Anirvaan, maine suna hai aap actor hain.

Abhiram: (being cheeky, remarked) Aap toh kaafi acchi Hindi bolti hain.

Vinay explained that Liza's mother was Indian, and her father was American.

Anirvaan: Yes I am an actor

Liza: I thought so! vaise aapko champagne kaisi lagi?

He looked at her confused and then it hit him and he asked

Anirvaan: The letter and champagne you send it to me?

Liza: Haan

Anirvaan: Why?

Liza: Because I like you

Listening this Abhiram choked on his food.

Anirvaan: Miss D'Souza that's really sweet of you but I don't drink, so that champagne was not needed

Liza: And the letter?

Anirvaan: That letter was also not needed

She fists the fork in her hands and asked

Liza: Are you seeing someone?

Anirvaan: (asserting his privacy, replied) That's none of your business.

He abruptly stood up, thanking Vinay for the dinner, and announced their departure.

Vinay: I am so sorry Mr. Shekhawat on behalf of Liza, she is little impulsive.

Anirvaan: Mr, Khurrana if she is impulsive then I suggest you to control her

Liza: I am sorry Anirvaan

Anirvaan: Miss D'souza its Mr. Shekhawat for you hum itne bhi close nahi hai ki aap muhje mere naam se bulaye

He sternly corrected her, asserting that they were not close enough for such familiarity.

She was shocked and angry because till now no one rejected her and Anirvaan just insulted her.

She warned them that her uncle could cancel the deal.

Anirvaan coolly responded that it was entirely within Vinay's prerogative.

Vinay, angry at Liza's behavior, scolded her, emphasizing the consequences of jeopardizing the deal.

Liza was fuming in anger she always the greedy one always wanted attention, money and rich men and when she saw Anirvaan in the conference she was amazed to see him.

Fuming in anger, Liza couldn't handle rejection and resolved to cause trouble.

However, little did she know that Anirvaan was not one to be trifled with, especially when it came to matters of respect and dignity.
