《•~(Y/N) POV~•》

"Ok so today's class is going to be a little different." Aizawa said

'Oh great what now'

"Today we have a special class on hero informatics-"

The energy in the room changed and most people tensed

"You all will be needing code names, its time to pick your hero identities." Aizawa finally broke the silence

And like a switch everyone changed up their energy real quick.

"This is going to be awesome!" most yelled

Aizawa activated his quirk to shut everyone up with out him having to say a single word.

"This has to do with the hero draft picks I've mentioned before, here take a look.-" He pull a remote out of his pocket and the board lit up with names and numbers

"-usually it's more spead out but these three seem to have stolen the spot light."

"Ugh thats not fair." Denki whined and Aoyama was not fair behind him, making his own complaint about looking at, and I quote "the real stars"

I scoffed and rolled my eyes as they pouted and whined like 5 year Olds.

"Seriously if you're so upset with the results than work harder instead of wasting your time complaining and moaning about how it's unfair. -

"-News flash life isn't fucken fair the sooner you learn that the better." I stated monotone

"Harsh!" Denki cried

"No (L/N) not wrong, usually you guys wouldn't be having the chance of an internship so early on in your school years. Internship are frequently given midway through second year but due to recent events they've decided it's best for you to have the experience. So don't waste this opportunity understand." Aizawa stated

"Yes sir!" the class called in unison

"Wait so does that mean everyone has the chance to do an internship even if they didn't get drafted?" Midoriya asked

"Oh yeah you didn't get any requests huh Midoriya. It's probably because you went around breaking yourself like a maniac that tends to scare people off " Mineta teased

"Oh shut it mineta you're not looking much better, atleast he made it to the final event, how was sitting on the bench watching hmm?"

"I don't know how was getting second place." Mineta snapped back

"Oh don't worry you'll never know what it's feels like to actually win something don't want to dangle something infront of you that you'll never reach, but than again you should be used to that, isn't that right Mineta."

"You bi-"

"Thats enough." Aizawa groaned

"Damn (L/N) is ruthless today!" Sero laughed

Simply Shrugging I face forward to listen to whatever Aizawa had left to say

" As I was saying, you guys need to choose code names remember these aren't permanent but choose wisely if not-" but before Aizawa he was promptly cut off by Midnight who threw the door open far to dramatically

"You'll have hell to pay later." She said rather loudly

After a few more insightful word from our teachers, we were handed a white board and maker in which we would use to write down our hero names. Believe it or not, all the intense training and preparation for my future as a hero from my parents, never include the task of picking out a name. So now as people were being called up to present their names 'Which Yes, we're presenting these', I was staring blankly at the teasingly empty board infront of me.

First was Aoyama who decided picking a whole damn sentence for a name was a good idea.

"I can not stop twinkling"

'....seriously?'

Midnight ended up approving it after a few changes.

Next was Ashido who's first try got rejected.

One after another everyone presented their names. Still looking at the blank board infront of me the next person stomped their way to the front of the class.

"King explosion murder!"

'You gotta be kidding me'

Hold back a laugh I looked away from the mockingly white board that remained empty, to see Bakugo trying to justify his name while Midnight stood her ground saying the name was far to violent.

Angrily waking back to his desk, dejected, Bakugo turned his head toward me frowning Slightly.

Slowly lifting my left hand trying not to catch anyone else's attention I let off a small soundless explosion, well more like pop, and smiled at him, flushing Slightly he quickly turned away and walk the rest of the way to his desk with a small grin resting on his face.

"Alright looks like all we have left is Midoriya, (L/N), Iida, and Bakugo who needs to rethink his."

Iida was the first of us to go opting to chose his first name like Sho did.

Oh, which reminds me Sho chose the hero name Shoto which was a little anticlimactic.

After Iida was Midoriya who chose Deku as his hero name. After getting his name rejected again it was my turn to go after Bakugo.

Raising up from my seat I walked to the front of the class room white board in hand. I never really got the option to pick a hero name, never imagine what it would be like most child did when the were young. But after watching everyone else base their names off the aspect of their quirk or someone or something that inspired them I got an idea for my name. My quirk is a complicated one, it had many integral parts, so I couldn't sum it up to just one thing like most did with their quirks. So choosing to go a different route I thought back to a lesson we learned in middle school

"Today we will be learning about Greek mythology."

The class collectively groaned

"Now now, class you'll never know maybe all this will be useful to you one day!"

"First we'll talk about Zeus..."

The teacher than went on talking about the different gods and the stories behind them. Zeus, Hera, Poseidon, Athena, Apollo, etc. They were interesting sure but the one that really caught my attention was the goddess named Nyx. Nyx was an ancient deity usually seen as the very substance of the night. A veil of dark mists drawn across the sky to obscure the light of Aither, the shining blue of the heavens. Her opposite number was Hemera (Day) who scattered the mists of night at dawn.

In ancient art Nyx was depicted as a either a winged goddess or charioteer, sometimes crowned with an aureole of dark mists. It was said she was the subduer of gods and men, and relates that Zeus himself stood in awe of her.

She was a powerful and sought after goddess but she was also misunderstood, mistaken for evil because of the darkness that followed. The crescent moon stood as her symbol along with an owl. Her Roman name translated to 'night'.

"Hey (N/N) she's sounds kinda like you, well more like your quirk huh?" Sho whispered as the teacher moved on

"Yeah I guess you're right."

"Who knows maybe that could be your hero name or something." he joked

"Yeah, we'll see." I laught before turning back to the notebook that layed infront of me.

Having completely forgotten about that conversation till now, I stood in front of the class, head high, board infront of me resting on the podium.

"Im the night hero, Nyx."

"Now that everyone has chosen a hero name we will go more into depth on the internship. They will last for a week I will be handing out a list of names from the people who have requested you and for those who didn't get any I will past you a list of names that you can chose from. you have till this weekend." Aizawa finished as he followed Midnight out of the room

"Wait we only have two days?" Sero question

"Yes so I advise you go through your list and chose quickly, but chose wisely, dismissed." And with that's he left shutting the door behind him

"Wow todoroki and (L/N), you guys really are amazing, you must be so happy to be sought after by that many hero." Yaoyorozu asked

"They're mostly because of my mother."

"They're mostly because of my father."

Sho and I said at the same time

Now looking back at it Sho and I did have the highest level of requests. With Sho in first, me only one or two drafts behind for second, and lastly Bakugo in third a few hundred behind.

"Yeah its pretty cool knowing someone wants to work with you, but the amount of offers you guys got are just crazy. How are you going to go through that whole list and decide what agency's best in only two days." Kirishima asked

"Yeah that's a crazy stack you got there, even Bakugo's is huge." Sero stated

"I already know I'm going to go to the person who ranks highest on my list." Bakugo said

"And who is that, exactly" Kirishima asked

"As of now it would be Best Jeanist." Bakugo answered

"No way he rates in the top ten, thats crazy."

Bakugo than went on to brag about how of course he would get an offer from someone who ranks so high. With a eye roll I turn my head to the side to see sho staring at a name on his list eyes Slightly wide.

"Sho what is it?" I asked

"Endeavor requested me."

"Okay, but did you think he wouldn't what's the problem, why are you so surprised."

"Because I think he would be my best option and I hate to admit it but he isn't ranked second for no reason. If I'm going to use my fire I should learn from the person who literally place second in Japan because of his."

"So you're going to intern with your dad?-" I asked now my turn for my eyes to be Slightly wide

"-Are you sure?"

"I don't like it and I know its gonna suck but if I could get something out of it..." he trailed off with a shrug of his shoulder

Nodding Slightly I turn back to my paper.

Only to pick it up and light the first two on fire

"(Y/N) WHAT THE FUCK!" Bakugo yelled

I shrugged my shoulders and glared at the rest of the papers infront of me mood Slight dampened.

"Oh no, why the hell did you just light two request forms Oh fire." Bakugo question

"Because I don't need nor what them." I answered simply

"Who were they from?" Midoriya asked

'Oh sweet sweet Midoriya why must you ask such stupid questions'

Trying hard to not turn my glare to him, because god knows he doesn't deserve it, I look at him plainly before answering

"Endeavor and Night raid"

"WHATT!" Almost everyone yelled

"Not only did you burn two requests forms, those two forms happened to be ones from not only the number 4 hero but as well as the nuMBER 2 HERO!" Kaminari asked his voice raising to a shocked yell at the end

"Yes."

"I don't, I don't think I'll ever understand you." Kaminari said in shock

"Good thing I don't care."I responded monotone

"So mean."

For the umpteenth time today I shrugged my shoulders and again looked back to my list. Going through the names none of them really caught my attention.

Choking on my spit I pull the next paper to my face to make sure I read it right.

"What the actual fuck." I whispered

"You okay (N/N)?"

"Yeah, yeah I'm good."

There staring back at me was a name I was definitely not expecting

Shota Aizawa,

Hero name: Eraserhead

"I cant believe Shota's doing internships. Not only that, he requested me and sent a request to someone else. In all the time I've know him I've never once seen him take on a intern always said they were to troublesome and would be and I quote "A pain in my ass"' I told Sho as we made our way to lunch.

"But didn't you train with him before." Sho asked

"Yeah when UA first brought me in but still.."

"Yeah I guess that is kinda weird, who do you think the other person is?"

"I have no idea."

"Are you going to accept it?"

"Yeah there's really no one I rather work under, and this way mother wouldn't be able to find me. You know with him being an underground hero and all."

"Oh that reminds me," he started before he slapped me upside the head

"What the hell." I whined

"Oh don't what the hell me, why the hell are you staying over at Bakugos and why the hell didn't you tell me sooner."

"Umm..."

"Oh no you're not getting out of this one. Really of all people Bakugo, Bakugo is the one you decide to go to for help really (Y/N)!"

"And what the fuck is wrong with her coming to me for help icyhot." a low voice came from behind us

'Great, just great.'

"So it's true, speak of the devil and he Shall appear." Sho said coldly

"Yeah apparently the same can't be said about you because when she need someone to look after her I was there and you were no where to be found." Bakugo sneered

"I was away with my father, not by choice." Sho reasoned

"Doesn't change the fact that you weren't there."

"Well I'm here now so, like I said after school we'll stop by your house and pick up her stuff so she could come stay with me." Sho said standing straighter

"Don't tell me you're really that stupid."

"Excuse me."

"Think icyhot, you think you could really keep her safe with that asshole you call a father roaming around the house!"

"What do you know about my father?" Sho questioned

"Enough to know she won't be safe there."

"I'll be there, she'll be find, I'll make sure he doesn't know she's there."

"So you're gonna keep her lock away in a room like a fucking take in cat you're not supposed to have."

"I'll do what it takes to keep her safe."

"Oh because you've done such a good job of that so far."

"ENOUGH!" I intervened

"Now is not the time nor place to be talking about this. So the both of you need to shut up. If we're going to talk about this it's sure as hell not going to be in the middle of a god damn hallway. Let's go."

"Where are we going." Shoto asked

"Somewhere we can talk. Now shut up and follow."

'I'm so tired of having heart to hearts in the damn hallways'

Once I found a decent place to talk I stop and turned to face the two boys who were currently glaring at one another

"Are you guys done?" I asked, already over this

"No." Bakugo said

"God you're such a child." Sho scoffed

"What did you call me!"

"You heard me."

"Well I'll take being a child over being a absent friend any damn day."

"You have know idea what you're talking about."

"Oh but, don't it."

"Don't forget Bakugo you where there once, I've been here, with her, our whole lives. I know things you don't. I was there when she need me, I may have not been there this time and God do I feel horrible for not being, but I won't let it happen again. There are just something that you can't understand that you can't sympathize with you can have empathy but you've never been where we have."

"That doesn't change the fact that she's not safe at your house Todoroki. I know you guys have a close relationship or whatever. I know that you would do anything in your power to keep her safe but this Is not one of those times. What are you going to do when your power just isn't enough anymore? "

Silence

"Do you really think she's safer with you?" Sho questioned,

"Yes I do."

"How so?" Sho asked doubt and disbelief clear in his face

"Her mom doesn't know about me, she wouldn't think (Y/N) would go to some classmates house. But her first thought, if what you say about you guys being so close is true, will be to go to your house first. Do you honestly believe that Endeavor wouldn't hesitate to hand her over."

"I wouldn't let him." Sho argued

"But are you really willing to take that risk."

"But how will I know if you're safe if you're not with me" Sho asked turning his attention towards me

"Oh Sho, do you really think I can't handle myself sure this time was a little rough-"

"A little" Bakugo asked skeptically

"- but see I'm fine now I can handle my self promise. You've done a great job protecting me to the best of your ability none of this falls on you Sho. So don't think you've failed or something but I think it's time I started to protect my self on my own a little more. Plus I can always text or call you if you're really that worried. I mean this when I say it Sho I can't think of a better option right now." I walk towards him pulling him into a hug

"Thank you, for everything. But now it my turn to face my own demons. You've come so far I'm so proud of you, I want that for my self so keep being amazing ok so I Still have someone to look up to." I said with a smile

"Yeah ok, whatever you say (N/N)" sho returned the smile hugging me tighter for a second before letting go

"I swear Bakugo if anything happens to her I will personally kill you, to hell with being a hero."

"Yeah yeah whatever Todoroki. She'll be fine, she tough or something, it might be stubbornness more than anything-

"Hey!"

"-but she'll be fine have a little trust in her icyhot she did kick both of our asses at one point"

"I do, have trust in you (Y/N) and I know you'll kick his butt if he does anything stupid."

"Oh you know it." I smirked

"Alright let go get lunch I want soba."

"Are you serious?" I deadpan

"What I think I deserve it after all this emotional turmoil." Sho said showing a  ironic amount of apathy

"You guys are the worst." Bakugo rolled his eyes

"Oh you're not much better Mr 'I put hot sauce on literally everything.'" I said back

"What do you mean, I do not!" Bakugo argue

"Thats kinda gross." sho said

"So is cold soba." Bakugo spat

"Take it back." Shoto sneered

"No" Bakugo laughed

"Bakugo, I will kick your ass..."

Sho and Bakugo continued to bicker back and forth as we walk to lunch. All considered today was good and if anyone said I smile more than usual...eh what do they know.
