✧ PERSONALITY
He's a sweet and caring person who puts others before himself, he has a lot of love to give and is very calm in most situations. Icarus was raised by strict parents and did his best to live up to their standards, they loved him but cared more about his grades and behaviour. When he is brainwashed, he is turned into a killing machine that shows no mercy or guilt, following orders without questions or arguments. He doesn't remember Five and would choose not to as it would get them both killed.

✧ INTEREST
Five Hargreeves - Icarus chose to stay around Five while the boy was indifferent to him. Slowly the two grew closer due to loneliness and developing feelings. They create a bond that they once thought was near unbreakable and for over forty-five years they grew old together. They were each other's salvation until Icarus seemingly disappeared and Five never saw him again.

✧ ORIGIN/STORY
He was born in 1943 to strict Christian parents and was an older brother to two sisters. They lived on a farm where they worked a lot of the time. His father was much more laid back than his mother who was a bitter woman while the man let his children do as they pleased; that didn't mean his father wasn't strict, however. Once the children's father was targeted by the Commission there was nothing they could do and when they came for the man they took Icarus as well, training him to be their personal weapon. It was an experiment and after a while, Icarus was the perfect assassin. Icarus was once a sweet, caring boy until he was turned into a killing machine by the Commission, brainwashed into taking down targets without questions. Icarus was brainwashed, erasing his memory completely except for his home life, and sent to the apocalypse to protect and befriend Five so he may become a hitman for the Commission.

He was trapped in the apocalypse with Five. He was found by Five days later and the two stayed together for years, a friendship quickly formed that grew more romantic and loving.

"That guy's a psychopath, you know that?"

"He's not a psychopath!"

"He tried to kill you, Five."

"He's just... he's confused. That's not who he is."

"Then why did he choke you?!"

"I don't know! Alright?! I don't know. But know... he is the sweetest person I've ever met, and the boy I used to know would never even hurt a fly."

"You have to remember. Icarus, it's me, Five. Please!" "Remember your parents named you Icarus after the myth? And how I named you mine after I told you I loved you? You told me you were so happy that night and that you would never forget. You promised you wouldn't forget, Icarus!"

I've had this character for a while and just haven't found the motivation to keep going with it. I thought Icarus was too sweet to scrap so here he is. Obviously inspired by the Winter Soldier but he also as his own unique aspects about him.
