"Lucas!" you shouted as you saw him walking down the tunnel after his game. You saw his face light up as his eyes met yours. He dropped all his bags and ran to you. He scooped you up in his arms and placed kisses all over your face. You did the same for him, you hadn't seen each other in six months, as you were finishing school in Sweden. You were on winter break and decided now would be the perfect time to see him play.

"How's my pretty girl?" he smiled.

"Amazing now that I'm with you," you said as he put you down. He grabbed his bags and returned to your side

"I missed you so much Y/N," he wrapped his arm around you, as you walked to his car.

"I missed you too Lu," you smiled. The two of you got to his car and went back to his apartment. You dropped your suitcase off to one of his teammates earlier in the day so it would be there when you and Lucas got back from the game. You walked into his apartment to be greeted by a squeaky clean living room. You sat down on the couch while you wait for Lucas to shower and change. You looked around at the small simple apartment, thinking about how amazing your time with Lucas would be during your break. You heard him coughing in the other room.

"You okay Lu?" you called out to him.

"Yeah," he said as he walked out of his room, "just a little cough," he coughed again. He sat next to you on the couch and pulled you close.

"You sure you're feeling okay?" you said as he coughed again.

"Relax Y/N,"

"Come on let me get you something to help with that throat,"

"Fine," he rolled his eyes, and sniffled. You went to his kitchen and made him soup as he lay on his couch under a blanket. You came back with two bowls of soup and joined him on the couch.

"Lucas, are you sick?" you asked.

"No..."

"Don't lie to me," you gave him a stern look.

"Okay, fine I am sick, I was going to tell you, but I didn't want that to make you cancel your trip to see me," he said then took a sip of soup.

"Lu, nothing was going to stop me from seeing you, I missed you so much I couldn't wait any longer," you smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek.

"I have the best girlfriend ever, I love you," he smiled.

"I love you too, now relax and let me take care of you."

Sorry, this is short but I'm finally back. I've been super busy, the next few stories I plan on writing are going to revolve around college players I think, only because I went and saw Umich and Penn State play and I love their teams and have tons of pics to use 😄
