- September 20th 2021 -

I headed up the stairs of my childhood home, a tray of food in my hand.

It wouldn't usually do this but today Fallon was turning 21 and I needed to treat my princess!

Tyler helped me open the bedroom door as I walked inside and closed it with my elbow.

I hadn't made any of the breakfast on this tray I only made the drink for her.

I placed the tray on the bedside table and kissed her cheek softly.

"Princess, it's time to wake up." ~Daniel.

Her eyes opened slowly as her blue eyes looked up at mine. I smiled and pointed to the breakfast laid out.

She looked up at it and smiled, sitting up in the bed as Alex walked into the bedroom.

"Hey, kiddo!" ~Daniel.

"Hi, daddy!" ~Alex.

I smiled and picked him up, placing him on the bed and joining him.

I passed the tray to Fallon and she ate as I pulled her closer to me.

I kept stealing food along with Alex, only because she would never eat everything my mom cooked for her.

Someone knocked on the door so Fallon called them in, my mom walked in with my dad close behind her.

"Morning guys! We just wanted to wish you a happy birthday Fallon, and did you enjoy the meal that Keri here made for you?" ~Dad.

"Yes, it was amazing! Thank you, both of you." ~Fallon.

"Have a great day both of you!" ~Mom.

I smiled and kissed Fallon as my mom took the food away on the tray.

My dad closed the door as I pulled out a box for Fallon.

"I want you to read that after I have left the house okay? I'm going to take a shower, get changed then head out and that's when you're going to read it!" ~Daniel.

"Okay, this is interesting." ~Fallon.

I smiled and grabbed some clothes heading into the shower and washing my hair and body.

- Fallon's P.O.V -

I watched as Daniel left the house, I opened the box that he had given me and saw a photo of us that we took months ago.

There was a note on the back so I read it out loud to Alex.

"Our adventure began a few years ago, we walked on a cliff that we went to on Valentine's day. Your next note is hidden somewhere you get ready every morning." ~Fallon.

"The bathroom!" ~Alex.

I nodded and placed the photo down going to the bathroom and showering, getting changed before finding the box under my clothes.

I helped Alex get changed then headed downstairs, him holding my hand as I opened the second box.

Another picture hid inside, a picture of the time we bought the new house for everyone and we were in the garden laughing.

A second note was written on the back with instructions.

"Go to the place we first went with my family." ~Fallon.

I got into Daniel's Tesla a bit nervous to drive it but he had given me special permission.

I strapped Alex into his car seat and started the car, driving to the Bowling Alley that had sadly shut down.

I ran up to the front doors and saw a rose taped to the door, a note wrote on the window in some window paints.

"If all it is, is 8 Letters then I love you... Go to the valley I went to as a kid." ~Fallon.

This kid honestly, I was running all over Vancouver to find where my boyfriend had gone.

Where was I meant to look in the valley? On every tree planted there?

That would take too long but I got back in the car and drove to the valley he had described so perfectly.

We made it after a couple of minutes of driving. I helped Alex out of the car and saw signs sticking up from the ground.

I looked around until one sign told me to keep walking until I saw the next sign.

I walked, holding Alex's hand as the next sign came up, nailed to a tree.

'Take a left until the next sign is visible.'

I walked past the tree, taking the only left for a few more miles, I can imagine a little Daniel running around here with his parents.

The next sign came up and I saw Anna holding it. I smiled and read it, following more instructions.

His other family members were holding signs as we walked past rushing water.

"Look, mommy!" ~Alex.

I looked from him to where he was pointing and saw trees covered in fairy lights and strings with pictures covering them.

I smiled and ran over to Daniel, he held his arms open as I dove into his arms.

He spun me around as my legs wrapped around his waist. His hands tangled up in my hair as Alex caught up a little bit slower.

"What's all this for?" ~I asked, looking at the different pictures hung up.

"Happy birthday princess!" ~Daniel.

I smiled and kissed him as he held a big enough box in his hands.

"Please don't be another note!" ~Fallon.

"I promise it isn't, but it is fragile so be careful!" ~Daniel.

I nodded and opened the box up seeing a new camera with some new lenses inside.

I shook my head and looked at him as I saw how dilated his pupils were.

I kissed him once again as he kissed back, pulling me closer by my waist as he depend the kiss.

I smiled as we both pulled away, Daniel smiled at me as we looked at the number of pictures we had taken over that last few years.

Alex played with Daniel's parents as Anna took a picture of the two of us with my new camera.

"Best birthday ever." ~Fallon.
