dear diary, school started again, on a different state. it sucks having parents that have a job that requires to move all the time.
i just went to school and i made a friend, her name is amaia, she's the same age as me, 14 and in 8th grade. she's in a different class but she's still my friend. she likes reading science fiction books and likes styling her clothes. amia and i accidentally bumped into each other in the hallway and she liked the style of my clothes she said "new girl? i love your clothes! you have a really good fashion sense." i replied, "uh.. hi? yeah new girl and thankyou for the compliment, you're really pretty!" *amia* "i'm amia, what's your name?" i replied, "my name's y/n and as the new girl, i just moved here and i'd really wanna be friends with you." she replied; "sure! i wouldn't want to leave you all lonely in this new school, plus i could really use a new friend!" she said in a very nice tone. i replied and said "do you wanna have lunch with me after 2nd period? only if you want to though.." she replied and said, "sure, i'll meet you there." we said our goodbyes and went in our rooms. after 2nd period, i quickly went to the cafeteria hoping to meet her. she was there waiting and we talked. the conversation was really long and enjoyable until the bell rang.

after classes, we saw eachother again and both had the same idea. she wanted to come over to my house and hang out.
after hanging out, our conversation was about a boy, jake. amia was the one who brought him so randomly, and got me thinking why. "you know, there's this guy at my class, jake and you two would really be good for eachother" amia said. i replied; "what? he's just from your class, that doesn't mean you know him that well, besides i don't think i'll like anyone from school." she replied; "im just saying, hes really smart and lowkey handsome, isn't that your type?" i replied; "well yeah but noone can beat mason thame's attraction." i chuckled.
she replied; "also i wont be seen at school tomorrow because my dad has a random convention in nyc and i really have to come, plus its getting late so i'll see you in two days y/n!!" i replied, "bye amia!! see you"
