I look around and notice a giant snake attacking the village. Before I notice it, a sound ninja was going for the kill towards me but then out of nowhere Lilith appears and kicks him away.

Y/N: Lilith!? What's going on?-

Lilith: No time, I want you to wake up naruto and the others. Now go.

Y/N: Got it.

I manage to reach my friends but thankfully Sakura woke Naruto up before I got there and I saw a dog waking up Shikamaru by biting his leg.

Y/N: You guys alright?

Shikamaru: Aaaaaaaargh!

Y/N: Close enough.

Sakura: You release genjutsu too you faker, why were you pretending to be asleep!?

Shikamaru: Hmph, I don't want to get involved. Just give me a break, I couldn't care less about sasuke.

Y/N: What's this about Sasuke?

Sakura: Sasuke went after Gaara and we need to stop them.

Y/N: 'That idiot! Chidori or not, he's going on a suicide fight alone.'

Naruto looks around confused and then a sound ninja was about to attack Naruto from behind until Guy sensei charges him and knocks him to the wall enough to make a hole while Kakashi and Lilith protect us from any other attacks.

Y/N: Now that I gotta learn.

Kakashi: As soon as you hear what's the mission go through that hole. First track down Sasuke and stop him. Then find a safe location and wait for further orders.

Lilith: Whatever happens avoid any unnecessary fight. If you have to then make sure you watch each others back.

Y/N: So we'll be on our own?

Lilith: Trust me, you're stronger than you think even without your training. Now go!

Naruto and Sakura went ahead.

Shikamaru: Ugh, what a drag.

Pakkun: Listen whiner. If this mission is a success, as a reward I'll let you touch my paw. So there's no reason to sulk.

Shikamaru: ...Huh?

Pakkun: Come on, their really soft.

Shikamaru:....

Y/N:....Can I at least pat your head?

Pakkun: Fine.

Y/N: Then let's go!

As soon as I left Pakkun bit Shikamaru again and drag him along the way.

Guy: Are they gonna be OK by themselves?

Kakashi: They'll be fine, Pakkun will protect them. Whispers to Lilith. You know what do.

Lilith nods and vanished with a smoke. Meanwhile, we manage to catch up with Naruto and Sakura as we're going after Sasuke.

Naruto: I get it now. Guess Sasuke got all impatient!

Shikamaru: So why am I pulled into this? This is such a drag.

Y/N: Next time he rushes in the fight, he's on his own!

Sakura: Hey it can't be helped, its Kakashi sensei order!

Y/N: Well order or not, he's going on a suicide fight and he had to drag us! He better make it alive before we catch him up.

Pakkun: Sniff sniff. This way!

We all follow Pakkun who's tracking Sasuke.

Timeskip

we were still chasing after them but we were being follow by group of sound ninjas. Shikamaru volunteer to be a decoy to slow them down. I'd try to convince him but knowing Shikamaru, he's not stupid enough to do something without a plan to make it out alive. Even though he's the laziest guy I know.

Sakura: Hey Y/N, that woman mentioned that you're stronger than you think even without your training. What did she mean by that.

Y/N: Now's not the time dwelling on that. Focus on the mission.

Pakkun: Sniff sniff. I smell Sasuke! But he's not alone, I smell others near him. He must've caught up to them.

Y/N: Then they must be fighting by now!

Pakkun: He's totally stopped, we should hurry!

Naruto: We're almost there.

Pakkun: Wait, there's something else out there.

Sakura: Who is it, friend or foe?

Pakkun: I don't know but...it isn't human.

All of our eyes were wide open not knowing who or what it is but I shook it off to stay focus.

Y/N: Whatever it is, then we must be ready for the worst.

They nod as we kept following them but soon we needed to go around since there's a fight ahead yet Sasuke is still chasing them.

Naruto: If it isn't sasuke fighting then who is it?

Y/N: Shino Aburame and Kankuro.

Sakura: Huh, how do you know?

Y/N: I use earth style for seismic senses. I know his vibration when I sense it and I caught Kankuro's during preliminary its not much but enough to know.

Pakkun: Either way, we can't go through their fight. Besides, we're close.

We then saw someone from distance and it turns out to be Sasuke but he looks like he's having trouble as he's down. But what's worst is that we saw something else.

Suddenly I saw Gaara or something went for the kill towards Sasuke.

Y/N: Sasuke get out of there!-

Before I finished my sentence I saw naruto rush in and kicks Gaara away, enough to catch to another tree before he retaliate. Naruto and I protect Sasuke while Sakura and Pakkun checks him.

Naruto: This guy....who is he?

Y/N: There's no doubt, that's Gaara.

Naruto: Shocking. No way!

Pakkun: His outward appearance is different, but he is Gaara.

Naruto is still in shock while Sasuke struggles to get up but then I notice the tattoos all over his left side body.

Y/N: 'This must be the curse mark people were bragging about.'

Naruto tries to warn us to run but out of speed Gaara goes for the kill at Sasuke again.

Y/N: 'He's fast!?'

Gaara: DIE SASUKE UCHIHA!!

Before Gaara was about to kill him, Sakura went in front of him to protect Sasuke. But Gaara pushes her out and hold her to the tree with his sand.

Naruto: Sakura!

Before I draw my sword I notice Gaara was struggling to keep himself control. This gave me the opportunity to free Sakura.

Y/N: Naruto protect Sasuke I got her! Hand sign. Water style: water trumpet jutsu!

I blast water at Gaara for distraction as I went to cut his arm in order to free Sakura but suddenly I saw a sand tail went towards me and I black out. The last thing I heard was Naruto shouting my name. I didn't know how long I was out, that impact was stronger than I thought. Then I hard a mysterious adult voice trying to reach me.

???: Get up....Even though your friends are strong, they need your help...Because in this land of fire.. we protect everyone who we love...it is our will of fire....So show me your will of fire...Now get up!...pretty please?

Well at least he's being nice. I open my eyes and I notice my right arm hurts. It must've happened when I hit the ground. Just then I saw something big, bigger than I imagine. It was giant sand monster.

Sasuke: Naruto!

I saw Naruto was about to get crush by the sand and I got up to the same branch where Sasuke is. I was about to go help him but Sasuke stopped my by grabbing my arm.

Sasuke: Are you crazy!? That thing is gonna kill you the second you try to help.

Y/N: Well we can't just stand here and do nothing!

Suddenly a gigantic cloud smoke appear and after it faded it revealed Gamabunta.

Pakkun: Its amazing that he can summon on that state.

Sasuke: Naruto...how on earth can you do that?

Y/N: Smirk. That's Naruto alright.

Sasuke: You knew he can do that!?

Y/N: All I know is that he's not going down without a fight and neither does that sand racoon.

Gamabunta grab his sword as he rans toward the monster and slices its right arm. But it wasn't enough as it shoots wind bullet at Gamabunta and Naruto.

Sasuke: What are they trying to do?

Y/N: If Gaara has been possessed, then they'll have to knock some senses out of him. Damit, they're not gonna get close if it keeps shooting wind bullets at them. I'm going in.

Sasuke: Are you crazy!?-

Y/N: We're here because you dragged us and now we're gonna finish it! I have enough chackra to fight, just focus on getting Sakura out!

Sasuke: And what are you gonna do, bite it!?

Y/N: Something like that, now go!

I head in as I built more of my charkra before making a hand sign.

Y/N: 'whoever you are, thank you for giving me the fire.' Wood style: wooden dragon jutsu!

I create a wooden dragon and it wrap around the monster as the dragon bit the monster shoulder to hold him.

Sasuke: 'Wooden dragon!?'

Y/N: 'Damit that took a lot of chakra! I just need enough to buy Naruto time to go for Gaaras head.'

Gamabunta got close enough for Naruto to punch Gaara but then he was trapped by sand so he then gave him a headbutt.

Y/N: 'Copycat!'

Suddenly the monster turns back to sand as it collapse while Naruto and Gaara fall on the top of the trees. As the sand collapse so did the one that held Sakura but thankfully Sasuke caught her before she fell to the ground. After that, he gently put her down next to Pakkun and I.

Sasuke: Did...did he win?

Y/N: Looks that way, come one we should go before they'll keep fighting with or without any chakra they have left.

Sasuke: Nods and looks at Pakkun. I'll leave her to you.

Before Pakkun could say anything, Sasuke and I went to go check. Soon we saw Naruto is unconscious and there was no sight of Gaara nor his team.

Sasuke: Damit where did that monster go!?

Y/N: Nows not the time to look for him. We should focus on saving Naruto.-

Sasuke: I'm not letting that guy get away!

Y/N: Even if you did, they could be out of the land of fire by the time you reached them.

Sasuke: Forget it, I'm going after him myse-

Out of nowhere I saw an female anbu appear behind him and knock him unconscious. I kept my distance from the anbu.

Anbu: Don't worry, I'm just making sure this doesn't get any worst. Looks at Naruto. By the looks of it, its still is.

Y/N: I can still help him if we can take him to hospital-

Anbu: I'm sorry he won't make it.

Y/N: Worried. Is there's something you can do to save him?

Anbu: ...there is one way, but its too risky-

I immediately got down to my knees, catching her surprise.

Y/N: I beg you, let me take the risk to save him!

Anbu: Surprise. You should know, you'll risk death yet why would you risk your life?

I nod before the anbu removes the pain by red orb coming out of Naruto.

Anbu: This red orb contains all of his pain he went through recently. Whatever the pain he feels, you'll feel it too.

Y/N: ...Just let me pick a place before he wakes up.

She nods as I'm far enough that no one would see. Just as I look at the red orb, I take a few breath to calm myself and soon I immediately grab it with my both hands and everything faded to black.

Sasuke POV

I open my eyes and I was looking at the sky but then I was interrupt by Sakura Shouting.

Sakura: Naruto stop! You're gonna hurt yourself if you keep moving!

Naruto: No really I'm fine, see?

I saw Naruto moving as if he wasn't hurt at all but then Sakura smack his head once again.

Sakura: You still shouldn't push yourself!

Sasuke: 'What the hell happened while I was out?' Huh?

I then saw some footprints leading away from here and I follow it.

Sasuke: 'Damit Y/N! Don't tell me you went after Gaara by yourself!'

Just then I saw someone who was standing from distance. As I take a closer look I saw it was Y/N who's just standing while he folded his arm but what's worst is that he's cover in blood.

Sasuke: What the hell happened here!? Who did this, was it Gaara or someone else!? Grabs his shoulder. Tell me!

It was quiet for a minute but I then heard him struggling to even whisper.

Y/N: Muttered. N....n-noth...ing...happened here!

Sasuke: Huh!?

Before Y/N collapse I caught him on time.

Sasuke: 'Bastard, trying something this stupid. Better make it alive.'

After a few more minutes, the medical ninjas arrive and carries Y/N soon Kakashi sensei arrived as well as saw Y/Ns conditions and then looked at me.

Kakashi: Sasuke, I need you to tell me everything that happened here.

Y/N POV

Y/N: 'Where am I? Oh right, I'm here again. Everything's pitch black, can't see anything heck I don't even see anything.'

The only think I could feel right now is like I'm drowning under the water.

Y/N: 'Guess she was right about the consequences of risking my death. At least my friends are OK.-'

My thought were interrupted by someone grabbing my arm and pulls me up as I look and see who it is.

???: You're time's not up. You still have a long journey ahead Y/N.

Y/N: You...you're that voice I heard earlier. Who are you, how do you know my name?

Nawaki: Thought you might've figure it out. I'm Nawaki Senju and as for your name well...smiles. your mother and I gave it to you.

Y/N: You...Tilts my head. Who are you exactly?

Nawaki: Pffft! I just told you. Grinned. I'm actually your father.

Y/N: ...Eh!?
