Leyden's pov -

I was awoken from my sleep by something or someone prodding my face lightly, I kept pulling away and mumbling stop when I heard a child's giggle, all my memories came rushing back and I sat up in a hurry bumping something hard as I sat up quickly. "Ouch that hurt" came a small little voice as he rubbed his head. "Oops sorry little pal, I didn't see you" I apologised sympathetically to Riley. I took one last stretch and yawn before I got put of bed to go find Jourdan, I found her all cosy in her bed mouth gaped open and her long limbs hanging out. I sat on her bed just as I heard her let out a grumble " riles I thought I told you to wake up Leyden then come back and get mummy" she said sleepily. "Oh so you're the reason I'm up this early" I chuckled prodding her in the side playfully. She giggled softly " I need all the beauty rest I can get and that's not easy with a small kid running around all the time" she said grumpily looking over at Riley in a loving way.

I was helping Jourdan make breakfast for the 3 of us when she brought up the topic of Cara which I held my breath for. " I know you don't want to hear or see her just now but what if I go round and talk to her while you watch Riley for a few hours" she suggested. "You trust me with a person" I chocked on my cereal surprised she would want me watching her son. She laughed loudly " yeah you're really good with him, plus he's not a baby, he does everything for himself, you just need to entertain him and feed him, he'll be happy for hours" I thought about it for a second before agreeing. I was kind of happy Jourdan was going to see cara because even though she hurt me I still cared deeply for her which sucked so bad.

Jourdan's pov-

I left Leyden with some money for snacks and I gave her instructions with all Riley's favourite meals, I was only going to be gone for a few hours but she had a panicked look on her face and my little angel had a devilish smile on his face, I knew he was going to run circles around her. I didn't bother texting cara, it was barely midday so I knew she wouldn't be up, I jumped a cab which took about 20 minutes to get to caras apartment. I had a key for her flat as did she for mine, I let myself in and what I found made me take a deep breath, cara was sitting on the floor, bottles of vodka strewn across the room, she had dark circles under her eyes as if she hadn't slept for a few days and her hair looked like it hadn't been brushed in a while. She didn't even bother to look at me but from her guilty expression she knew I was there because she couldn't help but let the tears slide down her cheeks in heavy streams. " oh my god Cara, what have you done to yourself babe" I kneeled down in front of my best friend and gently placed my hands on her face tipping it up so she would make eye contact with me. " hey, we can get through this but please don't ever feel so low that alcohol is the only thing to numb your pain, if your feeling sad, that's fine be sad! But don't be sad alone, let me be sad with you and when you're done being sad I'll still be right here riding it out with you,0kay? you silly cow" I whispered tears running down my own face, cara nodded sobbing before collapsing into my arms. " it just hurts so bad, I swear I didn't cheat Michelle kissed me and took me by surprise" she chocked out. I could see she was getting herself worked up so I tried to distract her, " hey, hey I believe you but right now we need to sober you up. I carried my broken friend to her bed where I tucked her up and joined her for a cuddle and little nap, I guess I was going to be here for more than a few hours.

Leyden's pov -

It was now 8pm and Jourdan had texted me a few hours ago apologising that I may need to watch Riley for longer than expected, she said I could ring her mum and she would take him but I was enjoying spending time with Riley, he was the sweetest little boy ever so I told Jourdan that it wasn't a bother and Riley and I were all good, although it bothered me why she was staying with Cara for the night, I couldn't help but feel a pang for her as I missed her so bad, her cuddles and her sweet kisses but I had to remain strong and get my thoughts collected before we talked out the problem, I just hope what I saw was a big misunderstanding I thought to myself sadly.

I know it's short but I haven't updated in a while and I felt bad :(

Will Cara and Leyden make up?? Or will Michelle come back into the picture??? Who knows what can happen... ;)
