003 - Please clean up these Legos

[Name] POV:

After bringing Tommy his breakfast. I sat down at the dinner table to eat my own. Ant was already sitting there in his human form. His brown hair had cat ears popping out. And he has a long tail sway back-and-forth as he to nibbled his food.

"Soooooo?" Ant said once I took my seat opposite of him.

"So what?" I questioned.

"Did you get anything out of him?"

"Nope. And I don't plan to push the boy. He clearly got some type of trauma going through his head."

Ant nodded and continued chewing on his food. We move on to light conversations about less troubling things. Once we both finished I grabbed both my and Ant's dishes and put them in the sink. The tap fills the sink with hot water and bubbles rest on top thanks to the Dawn dish soap I used. (#not sponsor)

Shoot I need to get Tommy's dishes!

I turn on my heels quickly, almost bumping into a blue-eyed boy. Tommy appears in front of me with an empty tray. Not a single crumb sitting on the plate.

"Thanks for the meal," he whispered. Had I been even a tad bit hard of hearing I wouldn't have caught a word of what he said.

"I'm glad you enjoyed my food!" I take the tray with ease and place the dirty dishes in the bubble bath I created a few minutes ago. He take a seat at the table I and Ant were just at. Ant had just left after he finished eating.

He probably went to see Bad or Red. Yeah, he definitely went to see Red velvet...

I decided to let the dishes soak and take a seat across from Tommy. He unknowingly sat in my seat so I had to sit on the other one.

"Let's play two truths and a lie. I'll go first! I read fanfic, My favourite colour is Y/C and I fought in a war."

His whole body flinches at the mention of war.

What had this kid seen?

"You didn't fight in a war."

"Clever kid. How did you guess?"

"Big men like me know these things!" He smiles but it seems fake to me. "Anyways it's my turn!"

"I have a pet cow, umm...I created a religion." The blonde boy faces down as if the floor had become the night sky on a starry night. "And I have no friends."

My heart ripped out of my chest at the last one. This poor boy.

He's all on his own. That one has to be a lie. But no way in hell he made a religion.

"The last one."

"Nope. I don't have a pet cow... ᴬⁿʸᵐᵒʳᵉ," he mumbled the last bit.

Wait he actually made a religious? What the hell?

"Then that two lies."

"What no it not?" He raised his eyebrows in confusion at my statement.

"Then what am I? Tommy, I want to help you get back on your feet. I don't know you at all but every bone in my body is telling me that you are someone who deserves a helping hand!"

My voice is raised at the end and I jump out of my chair. Tommy looked shocked almost sacred for his life.

"Wait I'm sorry! Don't hurt me!" He yelled, backing away from both me and the table. His chair falls backwards. He moves to a corner in the room, hugging his knees to his chest. I move towards the brittle boy and bend down to his level on the floor.

"It's okay, I won't hurt you. I promise." I squeeze him into a tight embrace. He tries to wiggle out at first but gives up after realizing his struggle is making it worse.

The water was cold by the time I got back to the sink.

I held my book close to my chest. For the last half an hour, I had been reading, well, Tommy was up in the spare room doing whatever big men do. A blast of cold air came in through the door.

Normally the swamp isn't this cold... winter weather must be getting worse...

I focused my eyes on the dimly lit fireplace. The golden glow of the fireplace tickled as the wind danced through the opened door. Ant closed the door behind himself. He held a basket of glistening melons and golden carrots, that I had completely forgotten I ask him to fletch.

"Thanks. You can take it to the basement," I say, feeling too lazy to take it down there myself. He nods but mumbled something indecipherable.

He's probably pissed I'm making him do more work.

Crash!~

My heart jumped from my chest, force in my body to move with it. The noise seems to have come from upstairs. I run up the stairs to see the damage.

Tommy is the only one up there, so whatever happened, happened in the room he was staying in.

I knock on the door. "Tommy is everything okay?"

He doesn't answer. I knock once more. No answer again. I push the door open. Tommy lies on the ground, bleeding crimson red from his hand. Tears threaten is spill from his bluebird eyes. Glass is scattered across the room. I run across the room straight flight for the blonde boy I have a grab hold of his arm looking at the damage. A piece of glass stick out from his wrist, right near his radial artery.

Shit! fuck! where is my staff? I need to heal this before he bleeds out.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to—"

"Ant bring my staff!" I shouted, glancing to the door to see a familiar cat holding my staff with his mouth. He drops it beside me. I give Ant a quick pat on his head as thanks. I turn back to Tommy, his face is covered in tears.

"It doesn't matter what happened as long as you are okay."

"What do you think you're doing?" He tore away from me. But not fast enough. I sweep my staff up and hold the eye of ender near his bleeding arm. There were barely three feet between us. My staff was long enough for me to reach the wounded with no problem.

"Restore ∴⍑ᔑℸ ̣ ╎ᓭ ʖ∷𝙹ꖌᒷ! Restore ∴⍑ᔑℸ ̣ ╎ᓭ ʖ∷𝙹ꖌᒷ!" I repeat the same words over and over.

Water spills from the eye of the ender, it flows around Tommy's arm, stitching up the cut as if the water is a needle in his skin is fabric.

"What the—" Tommy started but stops when he see his cut being healed. He stared at me in starstruck awe. Once the cut is healed, I pull Tommy in for another hug. Our second hug of the day.

🧡 Tommy's Meter: 🧡

Tommy is not sure how to feel about you nor Dream. Though he wants to appear as if he is a big man, he still appreciates that you hugged him and were there when he got hurt.
