Chapter One

<Picture is Avery>

(Avery's P.O.V)

I woke up to my alarm blaring in my ear. Why does it have to be so god damn loud, but then again, it doesn't help when you werewolf hearing. I got out of bed and slowly went over to my bathroom, today is the first day of school so I can't be late. I take a quick shower and brush my teeth in an attempt to wake up. It didn't work, I had to stay up late and finish up pack business. I walked over to my walk in closet and put on black jeans and a navy blue button down shirt.

"Avery, get down here before your late for school! Your breakfast is getting cold!" called my mother from the kitchen downstairs. "I'm coming mother!" I called back.
"Tell your sister to hurry up too, is she even awake?"
I walked to my sisters room down the hall and saw that she hasn't even woken up yet, "Yo, Ivy wake up, come on we have school." I walked over to her and shook her. "No, five more minutes, please!" she begged. "No, wake up we're going to be late for school."
"Fine, get out so I can get ready!"

I walked out of her room and down to the kitchen, I grabbed an apple and walked out the door because eating breakfast would have taken too long. Good thing my sister and I have our own cars so I don't have to wait for her. I got into my truck and started it up and a few seconds later my beta Nathan jogged over and opened the door. "Hey dude", he greeted me, "Hey man, you ready for school?"
"Nope but it's our senior year so who cares?" he chuckled. I put the truck in drive and we drove to school.

We arrived at school and got out of the truck. "Avery, you ready for our final year in hell?" my third in command, Jake, shouts as he walks toward Nathan and I. "You know it man," I laughed as we walked to the school entrance. We walked through the doors and went to our lockers which were pretty close together. Last year our lockers were really far apart. We checked our schedules to see if we had any classes together. I had four classes with Jake and five classes with Nathan. This year is starting off pretty well.

The bell rang so me and Nathan went to our first class Chemistry while Jake went to English. I was about to open the door when the most intoxicating, sweet smell of mint and rain filled the hall way. "Nathan, do you smell that?" I asked Nathan. "Nope, but can you open the door please, we're gonna be late!" I opened the door slowly still trying to figure out where the smell was coming from.
