Karl reached home and rang the doorbell when he was at the entrance.

Janet opened the door and looked at her son.

"Hi mom" Karl said and stepped inside.

"Karl why are you late for dinner?" Janet asked closing the door.

"Sorry mom, went out"

"Where to?"

"Rina's"

"The girl who came here yesterday?"

"Yeah"

"You were late for dinner, so you're going to cook dinner tomorrow and if you come home beyond 6:30 then you will cook dinner for a week"

"What? Mum you can't do that"

"It's finalised.. next time do not steal my atm card"

"You know maya, she lies a lot"

"Do not say that about your sister....."

"Yeah do not say that about me" Amaya walked slowly downstairs with her purple glasses on.

"Shut up if not...."

"If not what?" Amaya folded her arms already standing beside Janet.

"If not I'll tell mom that you snuck out yesterday night"

Janet widened her eyes and looked at Amaya.

"Really maya?" Janet asked

"Mum I...."

"Alright you're grounded"

"What? Mum that's not fair, Karl....."

"No no that's enough maya now get your phone"

"W-wh-why my phone?"

"Because you're not allowed to have your phone for a week"

Karl smiled in seeing he got her back and sat on the couch taking a bite of the apple he collected from the table.

Amaya brought out her phone from her back pocket and gave it to Janet before going upstairs angrily.

"Thanks mom" Karl stood up from the couch and walked upstairs.

The next day, Rina and flora walked side by side going to their locker discussing.

"I don't feel good"

"Are you okay?" Flora asked Rina worriedly.

"It's alright am fine, I just feel dizzy that's all"

"Then you should take a nap or something"

"Flora this is eight in the morning and we have geography, how could I possibly take a nap during Mrs Peggy's class?"

"I understand that, I've been there but you can explain to her right?"

"Ugh just forget it, I'll be fine, anyways have you seen Karl?"

"Oh look who's asking of Karl"

"It's not what you think it's about the project"

"Chill girl we're presenting the project on Monday next week, this is Thursday you still have three more days to work on it"

"Do you get the point that I need an A on chemistry?"

"I really get the point"

"So stop asking useless questions and let's go to class Hm?"

Rina and Flora collected their books they needed for geography class and left to the class.

Flora have walked past Rina when she sighted Gg and had already entered the class before Rina.

Rina walked into the class and covered her ears of the noise they made, she looked for Flora and saw she already sat with Gg so she decided to sit beside Mimi.

"Hi" Mimi smiled at Rina as Rina dropped her bag beside her table and sat down.

"Hi" Rina smiled back before opening her book.

"Ugh geography is so boring am gonna sleep off" Mimi said tiredly.

"People say that all the time but I don't see it boring instead I see history boring"

"What? are you kidding me? I agree history is boring but geography is way way so boring"

Rina chuckled.

"Everyone is gonna feel so sleepy today" Mimi continued.

"You're so funny" Rina said turning the pages of her book.

"Okay look you might think i am wrong but, this is Mrs Peggy here, her teaching is so lame and boring.

"Okay I agree with that"

"Right?"

Suddenly the school bell rang and everyone began going back to their various seats and classes.

Meanwhile, When Karl appeared at the class door, Rina sighted him, he stood there on his phone.

What was seriously wrong with that guy? the bell rung and his at the door with his phone, Rina thought as she looked at him, but just immediately, Karl raised his head and caught her looking at him before Rina diverted her gaze to her book.
Karl smiled and put his phone in his pocket.

Rina sighed knowing he saw her and if he wasn't the Karl she knew, he wouldn't come to her, but he was.........

"Why were you staring at me like that?" She heard him ask beside her.

Ughh! Why didn't someone take that sit just beside her before he came, now he is going to distract her throughout the class.

"Nothing, I was just shocked and surprised that you aren't listening to music today" it was then Rina looked at his ears and saw he wasn't listening to music.

Karl chuckled but didn't say anything, he dropped his bag beside his desk but he wasn't with his books.

"Where are your books?" Rina asked him seeing he was empty handed.

"Rina this is geography, I sleep during geography, what's the point of writing notes?"

"Then what about exams, what're you going to read then?"

"There are text books and I use Gg's note too"

"That's not good"

"Nothing is good Rina"

"Karl you......."

"Alright class let's learn"

Rina was distracted by Mrs Peggy who came into class, everyone immediately opened their books, let's say 30% of the class students opened their books.

It has been fifteen minutes and yet it felt like thirty, Rina looked at the time from her phone and saw it was still 8:15, why is time so slow?
Okay yeah, maybe Mimi was right, she is getting to feel sleepy. Mrs. Peggy talked so slow and now she was dozing off, all thanks to Mimi, she was woken up.

"Rina, wake up" Mimi whispered to her making her open her eyes immediately.
Rina checked the time and it was 8:20.

Aaaaaghhhhh! This is so annoying, why does time move so slow at the wrong time.

Rina looked at flora and saw her pressing her phone on her laps, Gg was dozing off, and when she turned to her right she saw Karl his head on the desk facing the floor.

Why was he so nonchalant, she thought what if Mrs. Peggy sighted him.

"Karl" Rina whispered but he didn't even move his head still down.

"Let him, it's normal" Mimi whispered to Rina.

"Who's talking in my class?" Mrs. Peggy looked at Mimi and Rina.

"Sorry ma'am" Mimi said.

Mrs. Peggy turned and continued teaching.
