Izuku was sat alone, a tub of ice cream rested on his lap as he took occasional spoonfuls. It was starting to get dark outside, and the only light source was his TV, that was playing the movie Titanic. His eyes were focused on the screen as he sucked on his spoon. His heart slowly beating within his chest, creating a melody for his own ears. He didn't know how, but his heart beat was louder than usual. Maybe it was because he was paranoid about being home alone so late, or he was just anxious of the movie playing.

He took his spoon and scooped more ice cream up, shoving it into his mouth. The cool mixture of chocolate and cherry melted within his mouth, it slithering down his throat. He shivered from this and held his blanket closer. He was currently in his room, sitting on the floor in front of the Tv, cuddled up with a blanket and a few pillows he took off his bed. His Teddy Bear sitting against his side, keeping him company.

His mom gave him that same teddy bear when he was 6. She had won it for him at the carnival that occurs every year. He remembers it so vividly. The wide smile on her lips, the way her eyes lit up with joy as soon as she won the game. He also remembers her picking him up and spinning him around. He saw the flashing lights of the carnival spin around him, as so did all the other adults and children there. Then she had cuddled him against her body, got the teddy bear and gave it to Izuku. He immediately hugged it and thanked her.

His smile soon fell after his memories faded into the TV screen. "I'll never let you go Jack." Tears found there way to Izuku's eyes as he stuffed in more ice cream. Liar. He thought. That liar.

"We'll be friends till the day we die Izuku!" Kacchan had yelled on the 8th week of Kindergarten.

Liar. You liar Kacchan.

Tears fell down Izuku's cheeks, wetting his long eyelashes. He closed his eyes and felt the tears stream down his face faster than before. He opened them and refocuses back on the TV. Rose had let go of Jack, and Izuku watched him sink down. Don't let go Kacchan, please. It hurt. It hurt so bad. All he could think of was how much he hurt.

"Kacchan don't let go. Please." He was hanging off the edge of the dock. Katsuki's friends had pushed him off, but Katsuki caught him at the last second.

"Come on Katsuki, he's weak. He's a weak quirkless loser." His friends had taunted. And that was it. Izuku felt Katsuki's hand slip away from his. He looked up as Katsuki's face grew farther apart. He fell in and was left there.

Izuku sat there crying as he watched the Tv screen. Why'd you let go Kacchan? He dropped his tub of ice cream and began wiping his rapidly falling tears. Stop it! Stop you're being weak! Izuku slapped himself across the face. It stung him, but he kept on doing it. Slap after slap, stinging after stinging. Until he was out of tears and sat there emotionless on his floor, watching the credits roll upwards on the Tv screen. He frowned and turned the movie off sitting in complete darkness now. His hand found his ice cream and he stood up, his teddy bear falling over, his blanket falling off his frail body.

He walked out to the kitchen and threw away his container. He stayed there and watched the sun on the horizon. It was darker than before outside, and no lights were on within his house besides the front porch, which lit up a very small portion of his living room. He decided to sit on the couch and wait for his mom. He walked out of the kitchen and circled into his living room, the slightest amount of light in there. He flicked on the light and squinted. Once he got used to it, he fell backwards on the couch and stared at the ceiling for some time.

It was plain white, a fan was placed in the middle of the room. It was spinning on the lowest speed but he could still feel the waves of cool air hit him as it spun. His eyes followed the spinning blades, him getting dizzy soon. He focused his attention on something else, the clock that was placed on the back wall of the living room. The time read 10:23. He sighed and watched the second hand tic every second, the noise echoing in his head. Tic... Tic... Tic... He sat up fast. His head turning side to side fast. I swear I just heard something. He listened again in silence. Tic... Tic... Ti- A loud thump was heard from outside. Maybe his mom was back. He listened some more however, making sure it was her. When he didn't hear anything else he got curious.

Izuku tip-toed to the nearest window which was on the right wall of the living room. He put his knees on the couch in front of the window and tried looking outside. It was too dark to see and all he could see was his face staring back. He sighed and cupped his hands around the window, and then looked out. He looked around his yard, not seeing anything suspicious. He took his hands away and backed up from the window, but when he looked back at the window at his reflection, he saw someone. Standing behind him.

He tried to scream but immediately the man had put his hand around his mouth tightly. Izuku's hand shot up to the mans tight grip on his mouth and clawed trying his best to get it off. But the man was too strong. Izuku noticed something strange however. The man kept his pinky finger off his face, and it was clear this man had no intentions of hurting the little boy. Deku calmed down and stopped resisting, his hands dropping away from his face.

The man behind him hummed in approval and let go of his mouth. Izuku turned around to face him. The man had light blueish gray hair that was messy, his lips were dry as hell and Izuku immediately noticed this.

"Who are you and why are you here?" Izuku asked calmly. If this is how he died, he honestly didn't care at this point.

"My name is Shigaraki. I've come here due to my leaders orders. He said you are quirkless~" Shigaraki answered. Izuku frowned and nodded his head. "I have an opportunity for you.." Izuku tilted his head sideways.

"What is it?" Asked Izuku with a questioning glare. Shigaraki began pacing back and forth in front of him.

"We have a shot. We need you to test it out. This shot gives you a lot of quirks. We don't know how many it gives you yet, but we do know it will work." Izuku's eyes lit up with joy, then died a little.

"Why'd you choose me?" Izuku asked. Shigaraki started to chuckle.

"Well you see, we've already tested this on a few of our patients, yah patients... And they all died. But we believe that is only because they had quirks already." Shigaraki explained. Izuku nodded.

"So you wanted someone with no quirk to test this out?" He questioned. Shigaraki smiled widely.

"Bingo! You're pretty smart." He replied. "Anyways, if you do get this shot, you might die-"

"I want to be known. Can you help?" Shigaraki grinned, and evil devilish grin.

"Of course, let's get you that quirk why don't we." Shi said. (Made that nickname up hah).

"Actually, maybe we can do that Saturday... I've got school." Izuku shyly announced.

"Alright, I'll be waiting." Izuku watched a huge purple portal-like thingy appear behind Shi. Shi waved as he backed up into it and disappeared with the portal.

Izuku sat there astonished, confused and a bit excited.

Saturday's in a day, crap!
